When my rickety Vivitar floor tripod decided to dump my camera for the third time on a hardwood floor, I threw it out and decided my best option was going to be a tabletop tripod. At the very least, if it decided to dump my camera, it would only be a few inches versus several feet. Luckily, my camera did not sustain any damage other than the corner of the battery housing snapping off, some super glue fixed that right up. I was pleasantly surprised and very, VERY pleased when I got this tripod. Not only is it lightweight and small, there's actually some heft to it. The housing that holds the camera onto the tripod is 100% metal, so are the legs and the ball joint is secure. I have a JVC Everio HDD camcorder that I've had for a very long time, after screwing it on and playing with the various angles, I was extremely satisfied to see that the tripod held onto the camera. It did want to dump the camera at first, but that was MY error, after a slight adjustment, the camera stayed in place and held onto the angle without issue. The JVC is a little on the heavy side, I think it might be just a little over a pound overall but this tripod showed it that IT was in charge, I like that a lot. While my JVC is an older camera, I'm not about to lose it to a tripod failure, I can't afford to make that kind of investment again. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about, I tested this thing before I wrote my review and I can tell you, this thing is built very, very well. Any issue that anyone else had with it might just be operator error, I was able to troubleshoot my issue in just a few seconds and I never considered dropping a star because of it. If you're looking for a good tripod, this is the one to get. I'm overly happy I got mine.

I use this tripod almost every single day to make video conference calls. It screwed easily into my Logitech HD 1080 webcam. Be mindful that this is a SMALL tripod. The legs only extends to about eight or nine inches, which results in my webcam being about 10 inches high on my desk. I was thinking it would extend higher (and didn't properly visualize what the description meant for size). It's great for my needs and I have suggested it to several friends. I would definitely buy this again.

I expected to get what I paid for: A $7 tripod for a small webcam that was probably made from cheap material that wouldn't stand the test of time. I'm actually surprised with the quality of this tripod. It feels sturdy enough that it will last, though it doesn't have tons of weight to it. Great product if you have the Logitech c920 like I do. Fits it like a glove and since it arrived, that webcam has been proudly sitting upon it. I would say that the little flappy grip that tightens the gimbel could be better built. I can see that popping off if you're too rough with it. Still, if it breaks, it's pretty inexpensive to replace. I will state that you shouldn't treat it too roughly because the material, which decent, does feel like it could break under a decent amount of stress. So, don't put heavy cameras on it. I probably wouldn't even try to find a smartphone mount for it. This lightweight Mini Tripod was built with a webcam in mind and that's what it should be used for. Five stars. I can't think of anything wrong with this product.

By some stroke of miracle this was the perfect replacement for my Blue Raspberry mic stand (I even added a coiled USB cord for 'a e s t h e t i c s') and even makes it the perfect height at my desk. When I mentioned it to a friend she got one for her Blue Snowball. I'm not for sure if it works for the Yeti, but hopefully someone else will chime in, and if not I'd try it anyways. The build quality probably isn't perfect, but it's great for my uses and great for the price. It's better than the Blue Raspberry stand by a long shot and that's a $180ish mic. Recommended!

It's very basic and works for providing a stable mount for my digital camera to take simple video for some recent mini projects I've been working on that would require juggling a camera and a handheld controller at the same time. It's not very tall, but for my needs it works well, if I need additional height I'll have to either find a taller tripod or set this one up higher. I like that if I want to use this to record something around my computer workstation it's small and compact enough to do so. Also, because of the small size it's compact enough to slip into a travel bag without issue. The material appears to be pretty sturdy for long-term use and endurance with regular on-the-go travel use. For the price, it's a simple solution that's easy to keep around a small work space and lightweight to take with during travel.

I decided to pick up this little tripod to go with the new webcam I just bought. My monitor is on a raised shelf, so my old webcam pointed down toward me at an angle. That often left me looking up at it above my glasses – and some people seemed to think this made me look creepy. Now I can put my tripod-mounted webcam on the shelf where my monitor sits and have it face me pretty much straight on. I was initially a little surprised at just how small this tripod is, but it has worked out perfectly for me. You don’t get any instructions in the box, but it isn’t too hard to figure out. You mount your camera to the screw on top, maneuver it to whatever angle you want, and then use the dumaflache on the side to tighten it up to hold that position. Once you extend the legs of the tripod, there’s no worry about the thing slipping or falling over. It’s definitely portable, as well – heck, I could carry this thing in my front pants pocket without any problem. You need a special clamp if you want to mount your smartphone on this thing, but I can mount my old Flip camera just as easily as I can my webcam. I’m very happy with this little tripod.

I was hesitant when ordering this tripod due to the price but was I wrong. This little tripod is sturdy and adjustable. I like the tightening screw/fold-able wingnut to lock it in place, very easy to adjust. I ordered this for my GeekPro2 and it works great. I am restoring a car and needed a tripod I can place under the car while working, this will work fine. It is also good if you collapse and grip the legs together to use it as a portable mount, much easier to maneuver the GeekPro that way. This will also fit on a work bench or desk with minimal room taken. I did not know Amazon had AmazonBasics, I will start searching for more of their products. Very pleased with this purchase. Next will be a rechargeable light for the GeekPro.

Low price and perfectly small. Fits my video camera (Samsung) and probably will purchase the cell phone adapter. If I do I will try to update. The legs extend with ease and the pin for holding a camera in position turns well.

For what it is, I think it is a pretty good tripod for the price. It isn't meant to be the most versatile tripod out there, just good enough to hold your camera for stills or a small webcam. Adjusting this is pretty easy and it lucks and unlocks its position with just the turn of the latch on the side. This tripod was a lot smaller than I was expecting it to be so its nice for traveling or where you have to set up in a small place. Since it isn't the biggest tripod, make sure everything is balanced before you walk away from your setup. You don't need your nice camera falling over.

Purchased this for a vacation I was taking and didn't' feel like packing my normal sized tripod. My main goal for this was so I could take long exposure photos of the stars when my dad and I stayed on top of Comet mountain in Montana. To reach the trail head we had to ride dirt bikes 4 miles in because the roads were too ruff for most vehicles to traverse so a full sized tripod was out of the question. This little guy performed wonderfully. It was small and light weight so I could just toss it in a pocket on my backpack and it held the camera still enough to take some decent photos (my camera is a point and click so it wasn't going to be National Geographic worthy)
