Build a replacement refrigerator light cover with it and it was more transparent than the original so I'm happy.

It is hard to find the right words to explain how satisfied I am with Solutech, both company and product. My regular go to ink provider was out of stock, and on a whim I ordered from Solutech. WOW! It came super vacuum sealed with desiccant (pretty much standard, except for worthless RigidInk). It came with a filament clip holder for safe storage between printing sessions (I mean, I didn't have any because I print non-stop on 3 printers, but maybe one day). It came with nice clear, clean instructions on the side about printing temps. But really, all of this basic excellence is all overshadowed by the one thing that matters. This ink prints great. There was not one single tangle. There was not one single clog or stoppage during the printing process. This is great stuff, I've been through 4 spools now without a single issue. The colors are pure. The black I used was very deep and the Natural Clear is the best looking translucent i've come across. I can't say enough about the quality of the clear, really great stuff. I love this ink. I think you will too. Brownstone Caverns & Ship- Printed in Solutech Black PLA Ice Caverns - Painting in progress Natural Clear PLA

Outstanding filament, I am working with a Kossel delta, and other filaments would not adhere or separate in the middle of prints. This filament was smooth and easy to work with. Printed a 84x84x80 mm with no issues. I will buy this filament again, and is now my #1 choice.

I usually prefer Hatchbox pla for my dremel idea builder, but i gave the Solutech clear pla a try and i love it. print quality is amazing and even though this is an opaque clear, with printing temps at around 230c i can get some great clarity. for best clarity results print at .3 layer height and 230c. but it also prints beautifly at .1 and .05 layer height. the spools are incredibly durable plastic and are actually a 2 part design. the inclusion of product sickers and a 3D printed filament clip paired with the incredible price make this filament a fantastic value and choice for any 3D printing enthusiast. Certainly i have found my new favorite brand. For anyone looking for cheap and high quality filament this is a great choice and you wont be let down.

I bought this specifically for my new Fabricator Mini v1.5 printer, and it has printed beautifully so far. Over the next week or so I'll be printing a bunch with this filament and will update this review if anything comes up. But so far it's been printing with the same quality as the more expensive ColorFabb filament. Highly Recommended. Update (3/7/2016) Well, I'm getting pretty close to finishing off my first roll and I gotta say, I don't need to look around for a Clear PLA anymore, I found my one and only supplier for this. The stuff printed awesome on my little printer. Added a few pictures, one of a set of support feet I made for my new Fabrikator Mini, Part for the Mostly Printed CNC I'm building, and the last is a comparison between the Ultimaker Natural Filament (yellow piece) and this one. I just can't say enough good things about this filament.

I read plenty of reviews prior to order and was prepared to have to do some tweaking with my hot end temperature. When I received the filament and started having issues, that was what I tweaked, and tweaked, and tweaked. After a few failed prints my tube with the PTFE was clogged solid. Upon replacing that I found that the PTFE tube had come loose from the threaded piece and was moving around just a little during retraction. After that was replaced, I was able to print just fine and have been having successful prints while slowly dropping the temperature. If this spool of white clear is anything like a different brand of clear that I have used, going too cold will result in less translucent. But so far, once I resolved issues with my own equipment, this filament has provided some very good quality prints.

I ordered this filament and it was printing great until a thick blob in the diameter of the filament caused the print to fail. I immediately sent an email to customer support and Solutech responded quickly and offered to send a replacement roll. Great customer support and the print quality looks great for the price.

This filament works great! It is too think of a spool to go down in the maternity replicator + but I just have a different holder.

This is my first spool of PLA, my first spool of this brand of filament, and it's actually my first non-UP! (PP3D) branded filament I've ever used. I'm only about 1/4 of the way thru the spool, so this review is based on my first few uses, and I'll update if anything changes. I was originally very nervous about which brand to buy based on all of the reviews I had read, but this one has been great so far! The spool arrived well-packed with good presentation in the carton. Inside the package, the filament was vacuum sealed in an airtight, translucent plastic bag. Even the spool itself has a sturdy feel, and it was plenty large to contain the full kg of material without any unspooling during the occasionally unwieldy process of loading material. Overall, it provided a good initial impression of a quality product that have me confidence in running it thru my machine. One thing to note is that this full kg spool is significantly larger than the standard UP! spools, so a quick visit to Thingiverse, some 3D tweaking for my tastes, and a print job were required to get a spool holder made for this material to fit onto my UP! printer in the same manner as stock. Once I got the new filament holder printed and my finicky UP! printer to unload the old ABS filament, it has been smooth sailing. The filament appears clean, dry, and free of residue. The translucent color is consistent light grey / off white. The filament has not tangled and unspools easily. Every print job has successfully completed with high quality. I have printed with shell-only settings, full fill, sparse fill, and up to 45-degree overhangs with no issues. This material has given me reason to try geometry and print settings that I would not attempt with ABS, so I am very happy with it and look forward to trying other colors. To summarize: + clean, dry, consistent + no tangling + works with UP! temperatures + consistent clear 'color' + quality spool large enough for 1 kg + made in USA + great value! - larger spool holder needed for UP! printer ( though I knew this and don't deduct any points)

Looks like a great quality PLA filament. I have notice that some people are claiming that this product is brittle, please note that PLA is a "brittle" plastic by nature and not a fault of this product. I also included a picture of the printing temperatures I use. Pros: Very clear No tangles Nicely packaged Works great in my Monoprice Select Mini V2 Using a micrometer I measured a consistent filament diameter of .0687 in, or 1.74498 mm over the first 8 feet so far. Cons: My roll seems to have a lot of minor waves in the first 10 or so meters. Pretty sure it will just be cosmetic to the reel because of how the printer feeds, but worth noting if your printer handles filament differently. I am not sure if this is unique to my roll or common.
