Love Hatchbox, and Silver is no exception!
Update: Turns out my printing problems were all mine, and not an issue with the filament. My PTFE tube was shot and any filament I ran through it would eventually start to string and clog. After a parts swap this filament is printing beautifully at a normal 210 C. I should have known better than to doubt Hatchbox, and my apologies for the initial poor review! Hatchbox filaments usually work great on my FlashForge Finder, and I am a big fan of their other colors. The spool of silver filament, however, was nothing but trouble. Typically I can print at 210 C for any color. This filament required 235 C - for PLA! That also meant slowing down print speed to avoid excessive stringing or gaps in the print. Even heated up and slowed down, the layer adhesion was terrible. Tons of misses on the exterior of the model when filling in solid top and bottom layers, too. And to top it all off, the high temp required for extrusion meant that to swap out filament I had to take apart the print head because the filament load only goes up to 220 C and that doesn't heat the top of the filament enough to push out through nozzle. I'm sure other folks with different printers will have more success, but I'm discarding almost a full spool as unusable. :(

5 Star Filament
This stuff just works, every time. Love the silver, it's my new favorite. Printing up a storm with it and black accents on a bunch of stuff this week. Perfect extrusions, not brittle or uniformity issues like the cheap stuff. Great product and consistency is the key to 5 stars.

Great performance and machined-aluminum looks
Performed beautifully in my RepRap i3 - no jams or issues whatsoever. In fact, I ran the entire kg roll through in a large series of prints over 48 hours without one problem. Silvery satin sheen like machined aluminum. Sticks well to the bed even with low (40c) heat on 3m blue tape, and to itself as layers are built up. I'll definitely be back for more.

Some of the best filament around!
TD:LR Amazing quality filament and prints like a dream!! I've been using 3D printers for over four years now and have tried many different filaments but i can say that Hatchbox has almost always out performed more expensive brands. The packaging is great and is sealed tight with desiccant. If you are looking for a cheap but quality roll of filament, Hatchbox is the way to go.

Great PLA!
I have gone through 3 rolls of the Hatchbox PLA in various colors now, it prints fantastically. Filament diameter is perfect throughout the entire roll, no snags, and my prints are consistently great. If you are just starting out and don't want to chance some of the cheaper PLA's try this stuff out, for a couple of extra dollars over the cheap stuff this is great. I use it on a Creality Ender 3.

You can’t go wrong with Hatchbox
With all of the filament options out there, Hatchbox seems to be so far the best value for good PLA. I have used both Hatchbox and Amazon basics PLA and the differences between the two are not very noticeable as I am a novice to 3d printing.

It looks fantastic as a print
It looks fantastic as a print, it works really well with filament swapping as a secondary color, I used it as the side of the cradle for my Pebble, and as a material to make a fun novelty wineglass for a friend.

My favorite filament
I make and sell 3d printed models and props for a living. Hatchbox silver 1.75 pla is by far my favorite filament to use. It has consistent quality and a great sheen.

Fantastic
I like everything about this filament. The color is great, the slightly shiny finish makes for very nice prints, and it prints really well at 200-220 on my Qidi X-one. The only disappointing part of this order was the catalog that was sent with it- it was LAST year's catalog, and the coupons had expired. Boo.

This stuff works great. Didn't have any issues with snagging
This stuff works great. Didn't have any issues with snagging, snapping or non-uniform widths as I've seen on reviews for other rolls. I went through two of these (and then some) rolls printing a Soldier 76 pulse rifle and it turned out great!
