Best ever!

Best grill/griddle ever! I love it and I've tried several different brands. It cooks evenly and clean up is so easy. I've had other non stick and ceramic grills and the food stuck to them and cleaning them was a nightmare. I also love the fact that it has a lid, it helps to keep the splatter down. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you purchase this, I use this more than I use my stove! Shipping was quick and it arrived early.

Lives Up To The Hype!

I read the great reviews and was a bit skeptical that this grill/griddle would live up to all the hype. Well, it does. I have used it several times and just love it! Nicely made, very smooth griddle surface. A little awkward to clean in a small sink (it is bigger than my kitchen sink) but well worth the extra trouble. It all comes apart very easily and you can wash 1 piece at a time. The lid is absolutely awesome! Great, even heating. You can set the temp to degees instead of a range of 1-10 like my old griddle ( I could never get that right) Can't beat this thing for the price! If I wear this one out I will definitely buy another.

Quickly replaced a grill and stovetop!

Alright! Now this is easy and much more convenient! First off, I had searched high and far, contemplating propane or electric, cheap or expensive, and if I was willing to actually use it or would it be a 1 time thing. That being said, I found this, ordered it, and "seasoned" the both sides as stated in directions for use. Product came exactly as described, in solid packaging and no parts missing or broken (1 star). The manual is pretty helpful and well written (1 star). I know some users on here were asking if it comes with a scraper tool, and IT DOES! So do not buy extras, it even has teeth on 1 end for the grill pan side. Got it wiped down/cleaned and seasoned. Ready to use! Let me just say, I have had this product for about 3 weeks now and there has been no wear, it is fairly easy to clean (1 star) and I just store it in my oven as I live in Arizona and it gets waaaay too hot here to use the oven during the Summer months. The thing takes up a lot of counter space, as it fits in my oven on the top rack just perfect, standard size oven. However, that is not a negative for me because I knew it was pretty good size based on reviews, product description and other users pics. So far, we have made grilled cheese, pancakes, steak, eggs, grilled veggies, turkey burgers, and hot dogs with toasted buns. The pan gets pretty hot and heats evenly across the pan, no cool spots or extremely hot spots (1 star), so I just cooked on it as it sat on my stovetop, then I turned on the vent under the microwave as I cooked. The steak, burgers, and hot dogs let off some smoke and living in an apartment, it builds up fairly quickly. The removable glass top is nice also, although I am a avid checker of foods while cooking so I just remove it and set it aside for the most part, as stuff splatters the glass top becomes another object to clean when finished cooking (1 star). We really enjoy the product and find it much easier to use rather than going to the grill within the apartment complex and having to worry about cleaning other peoples mess. The grill/griddle does not heat up the kitchen as the stovetop or oven would and clean-up makes it so much easier as well. Very happy consumer!! Now all I need is more recipes and ideas to use this with! As you can see the pictures attached. I used the grill side to make the steak, no oil or butter used to cook it and still got very nice sear marks. The veggies I used the griddle side (it is very easy to turn over the grill/griddle even when hot, just gotta be careful) with no oil or butter, just a few sprinkles of water then finished with some salt and pepper. The steak was delicious, probably best steak I've made it quite some time and the zucchini was to die for delicious!!

Great Choice!

Very nice griddle. A lot larger than expected. I LOVE THE GLASS TOP FEATURE. It is very easy to clean up. Glad I decided to go with this style.

Very sturdy, well made

Well made, roomy and quite sturdy. Love being able to flip the grill plate to a griddle surface. Great idea. My only problem when I got it was the housing that goes around the hole where you insert the prong for the plug was not screwed in well and the housing slid down. I found the screw didn't want to go in all the way - hole was too tight or not threaded properly. I took my time aligning the holes and finally got it tightened down without stripping the screw head. The lid takes a bit getting used to as it just sets in a track and you adjust the lid in it depending on whether you want it open or closed. There is some steam and a little smoke that escapes the sides, depending on temperature you're cooking at. I always put some water in the drip pan when cooking meats to quell any grease smoke.

I love this grill

Contrary to the comments about grease seeping through the bottom of the grill, I placed a double layer of paper towels under it expecting to see a mess of oil after grilling steaks. Not a drop on the paper towels. However, having said that I always buy the leanest cuts of beef including 93% fat free ground beef for hamburgers. I love this grill. So easy to clean and that's what I was looking for...thanks for asking for my feedback.

Highly Recommended - Would and have recommended to friends

I've only used this grill three; however, two times the chicken breasts I cooked came out juicy and even had beautiful grill marks. The hamburgers were the same. Clean up was a breeze. I hand washed it in less that 5 minutes. The glass lid is easy to remove for cleaning and the grill cleans with a sponge and a little soap very easily, no scrubbing. The times I've used it, there was no oils in the drip pan, the juices stayed inside the meat. It is a great size for a family. Update: I’ve now had this for more than 18 months and it is still one of my favorite purchases. It still cleans with just a soapy sponge in minutes.t The meats always come out juicy on the grill side. Used the flat skillet side twice, once to make breakfast of eggs and pancakes and once to keep a foil tray hot on a buffet. It worked great. Would make a great holiday gift.

My long standing grill that everyone knows 'his' grills finally died, so I wanted a better n larger draining system with a mediun to large size cooking surface. This grill is easy to use, large cooking space(holds about 6-8 good sized burgers or over 12 hotdogs. Easy clean up,surface cooking area very easy to clean,can control temperature. Good buy for the price.I hope this will last me aprox. 7+ years as my other did.

Really nice indoor grill.

Works great. The cooking surface does have some hot spots. Checked with an infrared thermometer, the plug end is 20-30*F hotter than the other end. The middle is pretty even. It does put a nice sear on steaks and nice grill marks.The smoke is not bad at all (there is a little, but not enough to smoke up the kitchen by an stretch) Makes for easy breakfast. My only gripe is that the surface could be a little larger, but it is not bad for two people. To give you an idea, you can do an entire bundle of asparagus on the griddle side but there is no room for anything else. It is perfect for indoor grilling especially for two adults. The nonstick surface seems really nice. Only time well tell if it holds up. This makes cleaning easy, but it is a little cumbersome cleaning in the sink. Kaos
