Great price for a great dryer!

This is a great dryer! It not only does the job I require with all the settings I need but there is less frizz after I use it. I have recently cut my hair into a medium length bob and this dries it in no time at all. I have arthritis so I have rigged up a holder so I can use it hands free. I just bend my head down and flip my hair over and brush it while it dries. Works great! I love the color too, a beautiful purple but not garish. Great price for a great dryer!

Magic Brush

I was persuaded to buy this brush by the reviews from white mothers of mixed race children. I care for my two and four year old mixed race granddaughters, and I am not very good at combing their hair. When this brush arrived, I told them it was a “magic brush” that wouldn’t hurt, to persuade them to let me comb their hair without a bribe. The effect was amazing. The four your old insisted that she and her sister both get “big hair,” and danced around the room singing, “Oh yeah! We look like movie stars!“ No tears at all from the older girl, and only a small complaint from the younger one, who has tighter curls. The next day, they asked their mom to use the magic brush, too. So it’s a success. It doesn’t fix every hair-combing problem — they are still little girls — but it virtually eliminates one of the toughest.

Great Settings!

I don't use a hair dryer often because my hair gets frizzy and huge if I do but this one has changed the game for me! The temperature and speed settings really help me get the right temperature to not damage my hair. The diffuser is a great addition, helps me dry my hair in minutes! The color is also very nice and makes it easy to find in the cabinet.

Surpasses Expectations!

When our old hair dryer was showing signs of old age, we decided to buy a replacement before it died completely. We looked for one that was a bargain, but good quality. This definitely surpassed our expectations. Not only did it dry our hair quickly, but it was quieter than our previous unit, has more settings, and the filter can be cleaned. But this is what truly impressed us: our hair is SMOOTHER and SHINIER after using this dryer! We highly recommend it!

I LOVE this hair dryer

I LOVE this hair dryer!!! It has great setting options, it's a lot quieter than my old hair dryer and the attachments it comes with are cool. I don't know about the whole "ionic smoothing" thing it advertises - I think that might be b.s. - but it doesn't get super hot so your hair doesn't get as badly damaged. Either way, I really like it and it's my favorite color. Big win all the way around. UPDATE: So I've had this hair dryer almost a year now and it will works fantastically. There is no damage to it or my hair. I still love it and think it was a great purchase.

My fave

Bought this because my yellow hair dryer seemed to be the 3-4 year old version of this one. That one started making a weird noise, so I figured it was time for a new one. I’m very impressed how long the old version lasted. This one is just as great but the blow speed is even better and it doesn’t ever take a few seconds to cool down during use which the old one did. Love how quickly it dries my thick curly hair into a shiny sleek look.

Great dryer!

I researched for hours because I have very long, thick hair and I can’t stand having to dry it for a long time. I’m loving this dryer—it’s light, powerful, has a nice grip and location of controls, and it is not too loud. The fact that it is SO inexpensive is just icing!!!

Bigger than I expected but lighter to compensate - works great!

Still getting used to it, but REALLY like the results. My normally fly-away, hair is tamed by the Remington dryer. It's larger than expected so taking some time to get used to; fortunately, it's lighter than my smaller dryer, so extra size isn't too much of a problem. Could be a little unwieldy if you have small hands, or plan to travel with it. Beyond that--it's great to smooth my normally wavy, unruly hair. It's the results that count!

GOTTA HAVE THIS ONE!

It's hard to believe a hair dryer could make a big difference but this one absolutely DOES. I'm sooo thrilled with it! My kinky/curly fine/thin hair has dried much faster than usual (even though it's the same wattage as my previous dryer) and so smooth, soft, shiny and healthy looking (getting that without a flat iron also means that it gets to stay fluffier looking instead of flat and stringy). -- I found it cheaper at Walmart, but it says it's a LIMITED EDITION so if you can't get it there, get it here. But GET IT -- it's great! One thing I have to have on my driers is separate controls for the heat and for the air - this does - and it has the cool shot button as well. The really nice thing if you use the end attachment that condenses the direction of the air flow, is that this dryer has a round end (not oval) so you can turn the attachment when you need to instead of holding your arm/wrist in awkward positions to blow at a certain angle.
