I am sleeping so much better since the purchase of this humidifier

I am sleeping so much better since the purchase of this humidifier! The only thing I don't understand is why the manufacturer put the water refill on the bottom. You have to tip it upside down, unscrew the heavy duty water plug, fill it, rescrew the cap, then tip it back over to carry it. Why not have the water refill on top so it's easier to hold and fill, and minimizes the potential for leaks?

Great for kids and adults. Mini but holds enough water to run all night on high. Good buy! Love it!

Outer box and item in perfect condition when I received it in the mail! Fast shipping! As always with amazon prime! Works great! It is a mini but does hold enough water to run on high for a whole night.. just make sure to check water level when you wake up.. Don’t be like me and get up late and forget.. I left it running probably a few hours without any water in it. I figured for sure I burnt it up and ruined it. I didn’t.. Still runs just like brand new! Didn’t hurt it at all. I’m not going to push my luck and do that again. Didn’t hurt it at all but next tome I may not be so lucky. My little ones are having a hard time right now with allergies and a cough.. This item was a life saver for us! I love the Vic’s pads.. Helped my two toddlers get a full nights sleep! Which they needed so bad! One would cough and wake the other up.. Then they both be coughing and upset cause are awake and not ready to be.. Like I said.. This was a total life saver for us last week! Plus I love the smell of vic’s.. So relaxing to me.

Exactly what I wanted! Easy to use, easy to fill, virtually silent, and humidifies my 8 x 12' room very well even on minimum setting. I am refilling it once a day, and have been using the Protec antibacterial devices with it. When I called the company with a question, I received a prompt and polite, well-spoken person who answered my questions gladly. After a diligent search through ads for all the options, we're very happy we chose this humidifier. My spouse and I are finding that the room now feels warmer as a result of the 28-30% humidity we prefer, and we're both sleeping better and without the nasal congestion that we had previously. This has been such a rewarding purchase, and at a quite-reasonable price, as well.

Great size and does the work of the larger ones

We live where the sand blows and we have sand storms. My son’s allergies and oxygen levels can become effected quickly. I have a humidifier in every room. This one is a mini version of one I like a lot because you can add the Vick’s vapors. This one fits perfectly on a night stand and does a fantastic job without taking up too much room. The only thing I would prefer is the removable dispenser to dump water. With this one you have to unplug the unit to empty the old water (unless it’s close to a place like a plant or sink)

Great mist, quiet, easy to clean, works well.

We've owned 2 for a year and they both work well. We use them seasonally or if someone is sick so it's used on/off about 6 months of the year. It works great. We use one in a 10X10 room and it's plenty of mist. We've also used one in a room that is 18X26 and it's not quite enough mist but it does make a moderate difference in the air. It's very quiet and the tank of water lasts at least 10 hours. It's easy to clean but requires weekly cleaning or it begins to grow bacteria. Cleaning involves putting a small amount of bleach in the water tank and base and letting it sit a short time. I also wash gently with soap and water. After extended use, bacteria also grows in the tube where the steam comes out which was tough to clean. Every few weeks, I invert the tank in a sink of bleach water and let it soak into the tube and that works. Helpful tip: This tank comes with the option of purchasing "scent" tabs that go in the front below the power knob. These are expensive and lose their scent after just a night or two but we found a solution. We like the eucalyptus scent so we purchased eucalyptus oil and place a few drops on the fabric tab each night. It works great and we've been able to resue the tabs for months. Doing this hasn't caused any operation problems. We love these cool mist humidifiers so much we are buying more for extended family members.

Good Capacity "Small" Humidifier

I bought this humidifier to replace a much smaller off-brand one that was in my son's bedroom that I thought was no longer working (turned out to be user error, but I digress). For a "mini" humidifier this has a great capacity. I keep it set in the midhigh-range for the mist output and I only have to refill it every other day at most when kept on 24 hours a day. That's fantastic as the old one needed to be refilled after only one night. Also, I have noticed quite an improvement in my son's health. He had his tonsils and adenoids out, and tubes put in his ears in the Spring. Since we switched to this humidifier over the last month or so he's had no cough or stuffy nose! So, Pros: -Good capacity -Large opening for filling/cleaning -Works well -Does not seem to gurgle loudly Cons: -Makes a humming noise that is louder than our previous humidifier (this does not seem to bother my son). It is not obscenely loud, more of a low level white noise. For some people this might not be an issue at all; for me I like silence when I sleep. Obviously it is going to make some noise, but I find this a little louder than I'm used to. -Already cleaning mildew off of it. It has been easy to wipe up with a clorox wipe, but it seems like I shouldn't have to do that yet. I don't think it's avoidable, though. -"Mini" is misleading. It is certainly smaller than the regular sized Vicks Cool mist Humidifier (I have that one as well) but compared to my previous small humidifier (I believe it was labeled "personal humidifier") this one is easily twice the size. Since it can go so long between refills this is not a problem for me, but if you have a tight space and you are looking for something small, this might be bigger than you anticipate. Certainly look at the dimensions. Generally, I am happy with this purchase. I would consider buying it again if my other humidifiers go up.

AMAZING!!!!!

I love this humidifier!! My apartment is very dry in the winter and I needed another humidifier for the living room so I could keep one in the bedroom. This works great and even having it on full blast it still stays full of ester for a very long time. My wife has been congested lately so we purchased the Vick’s vapopads to insert into the humidifier and it truly makes a difference. It also comes with free coupons!

Great purchase

Works really well. This is my fifth humidifier and I am going to say this one is truly my favorite. I love the small size- its easy to fill, and clean. It has a sturdy handle area and a wide opening so you can get inside of it to clean it really well. The price was average. Great for 500 sq ft or less.

I love this humidifier!

A few years ago I bought a Vicks cool mist humidifier that I used every night, and the gentle hum with the cool air put me to sleep like that 👌 Then I moved and never saw it again. I was unable to find the same model, but I came across this little guy and decided to give it a shot. So far, we're really hitting it off! I love that there's no filter, which means no fear of a moldy filter poisoning my air. I also LOVE the slot for the vapopads. Genius! I love the smell of menthol, and it works wonders on my sinus issues. I'm a little disappointed by how quiet this thing is. I know that's probably a positive feature for most people, but I enjoy white noise, and this makes virtually no sound at all. It does give off a glow, so if you need complete darkness this is not the humidifier for you. However, I've found it runs a lot longer than the packaging claims. The box read that it can run up to 8 hours on low, but I can run it 3 nights on medium before having to refill the tank. Great machine!

First humidifier that is easy to clean, not noisy, and isn’t too humid for my large bedroom

We needed a humidifier quickly for our newborn who caught cold who sleeps in our bedroom. We had thrown away our last cool mist humidifier because it became impossible to clean and know if it was clean. This time we have ONLY used distilled water and it is so easy to clean. We don’t need to turn it up all the way and it still services our large bedroom well. I leave it running almost all the time for 2 months plus and have had no issues. I would totally buy this model again.
