Very powerful magnet but remember it will magnetize your tools
I looked at a number of magnetic tool holders and even bought one at a local store. This one is clearly superior to all the others I looked at, and much stronger too. After I installed it, I liked it so much that I ended up buying two more. I like the fact that the brackets are on the side so you can mount the holders end to end in a row without a gap. However, the magnets are so strong that it's a little hard to push the tool holders together without a gap because they repel each other unless you mount every other one upside down, and I didn't have room on the narrow board I mounted them on to do that. Also, of course, any metal tool that will stick to a magnet will itself be magnetized after while. I don't really care if my hammer is magnetized, and my magnetized screw drivers even help hold the screw in place. But if you use your tools for delicate electronics, this may not be a good solution for you.

and I am more than satisfied. These were cheaper then some of the other ...
I bought 3 of the 24 inch models, and I am more than satisfied. These were cheaper then some of the other magnetic tool holders, and I was unsure if they were of good quality, or not. According to the reviews, they were supposed to be quite nice. Anyway, I am more than satisfied with these products. They have incredibly strong magnets and they would probably hold a 20 pound tool. Check out my pictures for what I put on mine. The wrenches have to be turned to the side before the magnets want to let go. Buy these, you will not be let down.

Works great, but don't go expecting to stick it to a vertical metal surface and hang tools off it
I bought this to use on the side of a 2" square stock steel cart and hold tools mid-job. The magnetic bond with the tools on the outward facing side is very strong. The inward side is less so. It kinda sorta holds itself up with nothing else on it, but if you attach a tool to the opposite / stronger side then forget it. As long as you are prepared to mount it, you'll be very happy. Rivets or 3M tape would probably work, but I just wire wheeled the tabs and welded.

This is the one u want !!!!!
I have a few of these all bought off amazon and this is the ONE !!!!! Super powerful will hold almost any tool . It’s really strong and well made !!!! I’m Gonna get more . Look at the pic I put up . You can see the other ones I have and the new one it’s so much better . Pros: strong Well made Cons : it has mount tiny holes of to the side so the weight and power of pulling the tool off is not centered ! It would be nice if the screw holes were in the middle of the magnetic rail

Strong magnetic "pull"; but be careful if you put two of them close together before mounting!
Purchased two to test in my garage for the usual tasks - holding pliers, screwdrivers etc. Very pleased with the "pull" and the appearance. Can hold rather heavy tools including a full size crowbar. Much better than my old magnetic bar, where stuff would fall off if you knocked one tool while removing the one next to it. I threw out my old bars and bought two more of these. And therein, alert! Don't let them get too close before you put them on the wall or they will jump together! Yikes - had to get help pulling them apart! (The trick was to rotate one.) Great test/example of the pulling power, I guess.

These are great for organizing messes
These are great for organizing messes...like your significant other's tools that are taking over the world...or at least the garage. They have SERIOUS magnets in them. We have about 20 screwdrivers on one and hammers, heavy pliers, crowbars, etc on another. We ordered more, because of how great these are. You should know that the yellow looking part appears to be some kind of tape, but for our use, it is holding up and looks great. For the price, these are more than nice!

HANDY DANDY MAGNETIC STRIP!
Originally, I purchased one of these to use with metal spice jars in my kitchen - (sold separately, of course) - and were later found for MUCH less (so I ordered 9 more) on the Pfaltzgraff site. Considerably less! This magnetic strip is terrific. It Holds the spice jars splendidly and looks neat on the kitchen wall. I have since ordered another strip to mount nine more jars (ordered from Pfaltzgraff this time). Hubby liked the magnetic strip so well that he ordered 3 for his shop to organize his tools and loves them for that purpose as well. Can't go wrong on these strips. Only negative is the need for a straight screwdriver for mounting. We use a battery powered phillips head for just about everything nowadays. So, doing it the 'old fashioned' way was a drag. But, we are happy with our purchases nonetheless!

very attractive product
All the positive reviews of the magnet bar itself are spot on. I am totally pleased in that respect. What's problematic are the flathead slot screws that come with the bar, which I found to be useless. And what if you have the bad luck of not having studs to screw into? The solution I have found is Toggler SnapSkru (~78lbs rating) drywall anchors. These are the best drywall anchors I have ever used and provided a rock-solid method for adhering the magnet bar to the wall when studs are not available.

Sting magnetic pull. Screws stink.
Super strong! Every inch of this can holdback ya own weight - from crowbars, to hammers, to screwdrivers. Can’t go wrong here. Flat head screws to install are a bit shallow so I utilized some others I had laying around for an easier install. Liked it so much, I bought a second one.

Pretty nice purchase
Super nice. Bought to hold the few tools that I have in my house. It is holding the hammer nicely and I thought that would be too heavy. I choose to put double side gorilla tape behind it before I screwed it to the wall. So far, so good. It is a pretty heavy item, so watch your toes when hanging it...lol...ouch.....oh, and the yellow stripe?, tape...yeah, I was surprised too, it is tape...But anyway, super happy with my purchase. I looked at so many before deciding on this one. It has a super strong pull, but not too bad, you'll be happy with it :)
