Awesome strong and nice battery!
Just received my purchase and went with white for heat reasons as i plan on using this on my outdoor activities and charging with my 14w solar pannel which puts out an outstanding 5.2v at 2.4amps in direct sunlight. Battery came 100% charged with little bag, thankyou card and two mini usb’s as advertised. Im quite familiar with these 16750 batteries as most of my vapors use them and there good reliable strong batteries. Im very impressed with the exterior look as well as function as i already put my volt amp draw meter to it since it was fully charged and she puts out what you advertise it does. I’m very well satisfied with my putchase and would recommend this item to anyone interested. I will add to my post down the road as for longevity, but knowing these types of batteries, i’m sure there’ll be no issues. Also, appears strongly built and fits in my han nicely attached to my iphone 5s with shorty cord.

RAVPower Deluxe 15000mAh External Charger is worth it
Compared to other external battery packs that I own, this unit from RAVPower has exceeded my expectations with price, form, and function. This unit included: 1. RAVPower RP-PB19(B) external power bank 2. 2 USB to Mini USB cables (one 2ft and one 1ft) 3. 2 Connectors (30 pin iPhone and micro usb) 4. 1 User Guide 5. 1 Travel pouch (This was a great addition) The specs of this device are as follows: - 5 x 0.9 x 3.2 inches - 11.4 ounces - Input: DC 5V/1.5A (Standard Micro USB Port) - USB A1:5V/2.4A max , USB A2:5V/2.1A max - iSmart technology enabling charge speeds of up to 4 amps. - 15000mAh capacity - 4 status LEDs for capacity remaining - Built-in flashlight - Automatic shutdown for short circuit or overload - One year warranty The pros of this unit are: The unit is well built and of solid construction. You can charge two devices at once. You can also charge this unit while charging two of your devices at the same time (the unit will get a little warm to the touch, nothing crazy). Doing this will drain the battery faster than it can charge though. iSmart technology will turn the unit on when it senses your device to rapidly charge your devices and power off when your devices are fully charged. The 15000 mAh capacity greatly reduces the amount of times you have to charge this device and will provide multiple charges to your devices before needing a recharge. The included usb cables are tangle free (flat) and well constructed. There is also a drawstring mesh travel pouch included with this unit that is a nice addition and will fit the power bank, usb cables, and connectors nicely. I tend to use one of the little ziplock bags to conveniently store all the cables and connectors with the unit in the travel pouch. The built-in flashlight is bright and can be turned off and on with a long press of the single button. You can check the battery capacity left with a quick press of the button (4 LEDs = 75-100% 3 LEDs =50-75% 2 LEDs= 25-50% 1 LED= <25%). The user guide is very clear and well written. When I received this unit I fully charged it. I the preceded to charged my phone from 5% to 100% (1810mAh) two times, two Gopro Hero 3+ Black (from one battery bar on the Gopro display 1050mAh each), and one Gopro Hero 4 Black (from one battery bar on the GoPro display1180mAh) off of a single charge of the unit with battery life to spare. This unit is also great for doing extended time lapses with the Gopro cameras. The cons of this unit are: (I didn't have any cons with this unit, but for some these maybe cons) This unit does have a little size and weight to it. This unit will fit into the front and back pocket of my jeans. The unit did seem a bit bulky in my front pocket though. Also, I must add that this unit will take a while to charge. It can take up to 7 hours to charge with a 5v/1.5A wall adapter (not included). As you can see the pros far out weight the cons for me with this unit. I don't think you will be disappointed with the purchase of this item.

A great charger---strong battery life and super fast.
I LOVE this external battery charger. I have one for our family home in Florida and just purchased one for my condo. I always make sure to charge it after I've used it (even though it has a fantastic battery life). It charges any device at lightning speed. I've used it for my iPads, iPhone and kindle. My mother constantly forgets to plug in her Samsung phone. I lend her this battery to make sure she is able to use her phone if she needs it while she's out. Do yourself a favor and get this! NOTE: I'm an avid Amazon shopper and always look at the reviews before buying. I take great pride in giving honest reviews. If you've found this review to be helpful, please hit the button below.

Long lasting reliable power
I bought this RAVPower unit to ensure I never run out of power on my iPhone 6 on long commutes and flights. It certainly does the trick, and I've never felt like I needed more than the multiple recharges I use before recharging. It takes a while to recharge, but I just plug it in overnight and I'm set to go for another round of recharges. There is the added convenience of charging a device while the unit is recharging. There is a 2.4v option as well for charging larger devices. While the unit is fairly large and heavy, this has never seemed to be a problem. it is close to the size of an external hard drive and slots into my backpack nicely. Build quality is excellent and the unit feels extremely durable. The small LED flashlight is a convenient addition that I've found myself using a number of times. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase

Great Customer Service
I purchased the RavPower battery in 2015 and within a month, one of the connection ports failed so I received a replacement battery. The new battery worked great for over a year but then one of the power ports failed, and a month later, the last port failed. It appears to me that the design of the connection port is not robust enough to handle regular recharging. In my opinion, the connection port should be stronger than the USB connecting cable. But that is not the case. I really am a bit bummed as it is a great, powerful external battery that I relied on for day-to-day use. It should last for longer than a year though. As you can see in the attached picture, the port is cockeyed and twisted out of position. Update 3/17/2017: When the manufacturer read the above, they reached out to me immediately and offered to replace my defective unit at no charge. I received the battery and it works great. With such good customer service I'm changing my rating to 5-stars.

Great Product and Customer support!! They the went the extra mile even outside of my warranty! A+++ for that!
I paid for this 14 Months ago and have used it on vacation 2 times and camping about 10 times. Worked great for first 12 months, then noticed one of the charging ports stopped working. I thought it was just the cord but turns out that was the battery. I was past the 12 months by 2 weeks so trying to claim a warranty on it would be futile. Not spending $39.99 on another RAVPower product if they only last a year. I was careful with the unit, not dropped, no water damage, nothing. I'd suggest not using the device while charging, as this can be the only reason I can think of that caused the 2.4 port to stop working. Now I'm left with the 2.1 slow charge port which my phone drains faster than it can charge. I have one of the RAVPower FileHubs and it's worked fine for 2+ years. Maybe I got a bum RAVPower Battery pack. *** UPDATE 8/13/16: RAVPower customer service reached out to me to help with my issue of the charging ports on mine. They instructed me that I could reply to support@ravpower.com with my concerns and they were extremely sympathetic and helpful! They ran through a few troubleshooting questions, which is typical of any electronics support, and deemed that it was defective. They resolved the issue with a replacement within a few days. This surely was just 1 of a thousand that may have had a manufacturers defect, I stand behind this product and their customer service 100% and will buy many more of their brand. Customer service and a quality product is top rated for me and they did a stellar job resolving the issue quickly! You can buy a product that may work well from other companies, but if you happen to get that one glitchy one, I hope their customer service is as stellar as RAVPower's was for me!

A truly remarkable charger!
What’s interesting about this five star rating that I’ve given to this RAVPOWER external charger, is that actually the first unit I received had a slight defect. It worked fine for a few charges, and would continue to charge its own battery without any problems, but when plugged into my iPhone, the charging became sporadic. I immediately contacted both the RavPower manufacture and the company that sold it on Amazon called SunValleytek. Within hours I received emails from both companies. Without any further need to explain the problem, they both offered to send a replacement unit immediately. Both RavPower and SunValleytek showed enormous concern for customer satisfaction, and confidence in the quality of their products. They stated that the problem I had was quite rare, which from reading the other reviews, I believe is true, and yet because they care so much about the reputation of their companies and the unit itself, they gave me this incredibly generous offer to send a replacement right away (instead of having to send the unit back for repair, etc.). I took the manufacturer’s offer, and within two days I received a new unit. I have now use this new charger many times for dozens of phones in my company, and on a daily basis there are always at least two units being charged at once (you can charge two phones at a time). So the new unit has had quite a workout in the last month. It works perfectly. I must also say that the unit itself is beautifully built, extremely solid, with a craftsmanship you hardly ever see anymore in electronics. There is nothing cheap, flimsy or plastic about this unit. I have subsequently purchased several other RavPower products, including one to charge laptops (please note that this unit is perfect for charging IPhones, Ipads etc., but is not made for laptop charging), and they too are beautifully engineered and designed. In fact this external charger shows more care and thought in its design than the iPhone it is made to charge! I have now charged IPhones over a dozen phones from approximately 10% to 100% on one charge, and the LED gauge still shows it has over 50% power to continue charging more units. It is compact and also comes with a well-made protective pouch for easy transport. I, and my employees, work in the “field”, and this excellent charger has saved us on many occasions when we are in areas with no other power source. I recommend this unit as the one and only to purchase for external charging. And I’d also like to say that at this point for my own experiences anything manufactured by RavPower is worth purchasing. And as for SunValleytek, if you see they are the seller involved in something you are interested in purchasing, buy it from them without hesitation. If only all the Sellers online were as good as them.

Revised - I Love it.
I originally gave a negative review but had to change it for two reasons. In the first case I'm an idiot and didn't know how to turn the light off! For the second device, although it failed, the company stood behind it and replaced it free of charge even though it was outside the warranty period. This is a very good company to deal with and I'm glad I bought 5-6 of these as Christmas presents. I use it constantly while travelling and even around the home and in the car. I love being able to charge my kindle and iPhone whenever it needs a charge and it's crazy fast compared to the typical square block kindle charger or a car port. I travel extensively and this is an indispensable travel companion. Don't hesitate to buy this product knowing it works great and if it fails there's a good company backing it.

I would recommend this especially for the POKEMON GO app
I've been holding off on reviewing on this bad boy because I really wanted to answer long term questions about the battery's longevity I think I've had it now for 2 months so I can't attest to something like a year or two but I do have some information. I read a lot of reviews saying they could charge their phone up to 5 times on this before they had to charge the actual battery. Tested, true. I have an iPhone 5s but I have also tested it on my mom's iPhone 6 plus. No issues what so ever. I also read that this guy takes FOREVER to charge up, also true, Don't plug this in totally dead and unplug it an hour later expecting it to function as if it were fully charged, it won't. Imagine that the battery is like a human a one hour power nap is not enough to face a full day with...A night's worth of sleep should pretty much do it though. Next there are a lot of comments that say 'it will stop charging when it's full.' this confused me what is 'it' in this scenario? is 'it' the charger is 'it' the phone? If it's the charger that's great, if it's the phone...what if I want it to do continuous charging because I am doing something that is extremely strenuous on my phone battery? Like Pokemon Go for example? Here is what I learned, when you plug the batter in it will flash blue at the top there is a bar, the bar has segments of color, as it charges up the segments all light up, as it dies they go out one at a time signifying an approx. percentage of 'life' the batter has left. As far as I can tell it is always drawing power if it is plugged in. The PHONE is what will stop charging once it reaches 100% battery. HOWEVER if you are doing something that is sucking batter life about as fast as the charger can charge it then it will continue to give it battery life. As far as pokemon go is concerned since I know there are a lot of people out there who are finally biting the bullet and deciding to buy an external batter so as not to have their phone die after and hour of playing. I played with my husband's AND my phone plugged into the batter for 5 straight hours and the external didn't even lose half of it's battery life. So once I tested that out I had to know exactly how long it would last. So I plugged my phone into the batter (my phone was already at 100% battery when I plugged it in) and I opened the app I left the app open until the external batter died and my phone battery died (I know my phone can play pokemon go for about an hour and a half before it's completely tapped) The app was able to run for 52 hours before it killed my phone. After 2 months I still use the charger daily, in fact sometimes I don't even charge my phone in the wall I just take my pack with me and use it as needed. It is about the size of an iPhone 6 plus but honestly it can fit in a back pocket, or for men's pants probably even a front pocket. I charge the battery about once every 3 days. It is an excellent purchase. The value is incredible. I'm still loving it, I even bought one for my husband who also has absolutely NO complaints.

It doesn't make sense to buy any other power bank but this one.
I will admit that I originally bought this to be used while playing Pokemon Go, but it has proven to be far, far more useful. Funny thing is, I came across this item on my phone while in line at a Best Buy to buy a Mophie Powerbank. I noticed the capacity and price of the RAVPower and was curious and gave it a try. I ended up not buying the Mophie and am still very happy with my decision. I can charge my phone 5+ times on the RAVPower and the 2 usb ports are handy. I enjoy having the ability to be mobile and still charge my phone. Even in the house I find this useful, as I do not have to be sitting next to an outlet. Having a powerbank that can hold alot is useful aside from just charging your phone or tablet! I even use the RAVPower to charge my PS4 controllers as I play so I no longer have to use a 6 ft micro usb cord. To completely charge the RAVPower, I usually plug it in before I go to sleep because it does take a while to charge (due to the big battery). I brought this with me to Lake Tahoe for the weekend and it served useful. TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN BUYING A POWERBANK, THIS IS THE ONE. The Mophie powerbank XL hold 10,000 mAh and is currently going for $69.95 on their website. For about that price, i could buy myself a 22,000 mAh RavPower ($39.99) along with this 16,750 mAh RavPower. This is a great product, and I recommend it to everyone.
