Love These CoverPlugs!

After I had an electrician install new grounded electrical outlets, I still had all the old outlets exposed, which I didn't like. I want to make sure in the future that I am using the new grounded outlets and not the old outlets, and I didn't want to put the little plugs into each outlet. I found these Coverplugs and they are perfect. I have not gotten around to painting them to match the wall colors yet, but I may do so in the future. It's a great feature. Even not painted, they look very nice on the wall. Great idea.

IT WORKS! My toddler was sooo interested in this outlet, even though we never had anything plugged into it. Then I saw this on amazon and got it home - installed as easy as plugging in any appliance - now my toddler doesn't even look in that direction! I have a suspicion that since there's no longer two tiny faces (the two plug outlets) staring at him, he's no longer interested!!! These work so well for outlets that need to be covered but are not in use.

FINALLY covers that do what they’re suppose to!

Absolutely love these covers! My husband is a bit of a safety nut & is always researching products in depth. Where are they made, what are they made of, will it cause a fire, etc. so this was a very LONG process. First off, love that they’re made in the USA...we also love how they plug into the “ground” part of the outlet (vs the neutral & hot outlets) which seems safer & less likely to melt or damage the outlet by getting stuck or breaking off like some. Now don’t get me wrong, these things stay in place VERY well & our toddler cannot remove them. But we always made sure to install & remove them when they’re not around. I love how clean they look when installed and how they cover the whole outlet (and sometimes the whole cover). Whenever I have ordered these they arrive so quickly, sometimes within 24 hours! For us this is a quality product that we are so glad to have found.

Perfect for households with "adventuresome" babies

Our "adventuresome" 14 month old has been getting into things she shouldn't for quite a few months now. Somehow she can get the individual outlet covers out better than us adults can! These Coverplugs are a great solution for covering up the entire outlet plate to keep those little hands from getting into trouble. One place in particular this is very helpful for us is near the baby's crib - I was beginning to worry that she would realize there was an outlet along the wall of her crib, and that she would pull the covers out in the middle of the night. Now with the Coverplug, there's nothing for her to try to get into! Thank you!

Perfect for outlets in weird places

I had an unused outlet and a cable box that was in an unusual spot and were eyesores. I didn't want to remove them in case I wanted to use them later. This was the perfect solution. I painted them to match the wall and they blend right in. If I need to use the outlet, it just pops out easily. Great product!

Wish we had these sooner.

This is great, just wish it weren't so expensive. It is not a white white, more of a slightly off white. Our wainscoting is white, which is where all of our child reachable outlets are located, so they don't match up perfectly with the walls. Yes, they can be painted (a product plus), but I purchased them thinking I did NOT need to paint them....a product negative. Will definitely buy more of these if the price drops.

Works great!

I love it. Our puppy kennel is next to an outlet so I wanted to be safe! It works great. Slides in easily to the outlet and stays on. We did not paint it, just left it alone. I want to purchase more when the puppy gets bigger!

Great!

I don't have children or pets, but there is a wiring issue in my rental behind one of the wall outlets, causing a huge spark each time anyone tries plugging in an appliance. I bought this to stop myself and guests from using the outlet to avoid risk of fire. it sits flush against the wall and looks pretty inconspicuous against my white walls!

Much cleaner look than the little plug covers

I have a shorter platform bed in my guest room and there's an outlet behind it. This covers it completely. I also have an outlet in my living room that is drafty and this solves that problem, too. Plus it just looks much nicer than the individual plugs, which you see more with childproofing.

Great but may need to 'glue' them on

These work perfect for us with our modification. Little man (18 mo old) has the fine motor skills of an adult and popped these back off in less than 30 seconds SO hubby 'glued' them on with clear silicone! Works great for outlets we don't use and they can be removed later by slicing through the silicone. Sounds horribly red-neck but nothing else kept him from removing outlet safety covers. Thought I'd share for anyone in my shoes :)
