So Fun and Simple

My 10 year old girl got this for Christmas and has had so much fun with it. She has already made a few projects including a hot pad, barbie blanket, and adorable scarf for herself and now she is making a bag. It is very simple to set up and use. I wish that it came with more instructions to make different things, like the gloves that are pictured. But overall she has enjoyed it so much and wants to get a few more for her upcoming birthday so she can hook them together and make wider projects. Just a little tip: When weaving just be careful not to tighten your strands too much against the sides because it will cause them to bend inwards and your project will start to go skinnier.

Doable for a 9/10 year old!!

Santa brought this for my 4th grader who loved the Rainbow Loom. Took us less than 10 minutes to set up and figure out with YouTube. She made a coaster that's only slightly wonky but was SO proud! Awesome for her first try!! The process moves quickly too so they can accomplish something in a short period of time without losing focus. Great buy and I spent hours comparing different loom/first knitting/first crochet kits. Didnt want anymore junk that they get frustrated with and it ends up never getting used. Especially, when it could lead to a hobby they enjoy! I forsee us buying more and her making blankets and placemats!!

Great Results on First Weave!

I purchased two of these and produced most of the pictured weaving the night they arrived using three different sized yarns. Both looms came with three extra pegs, so I am not worried about breakage, it took a lot of abuse during this one project and nothing broke. It is amazing concept that makes peg looming so much easier, you just have to remember to turn the handle in between weaves. I even tried a technique called clasped weft where you bring two different yarns from either side and they meet in the middle. You just have to twist the yarn before putting it into the pegs, and adjust the tension from either side, and you make where they meet in the middle random each time, it comes out really cool. I recommend this for adults and for children in the recommended age range, probably need some help from a parent for setup and advancing the weave, and finishing.

Surprisingly functional for a seemly childish tool!

Have acquired three of them. My bathroom mat, a project in the making for years, is almost finished. Have used wool purchased at a garage sale twenty years ago! (The photo is of a "draft", an unfinished project. It is currently 19 x 30".

Greatest thing since sliced bread

Greatest thing since sliced bread. I have M.S. and I love to crochet but because my hands don't work the way they used to, I have no way to make clothes for my kids anymore. This item allows me to make things for my house, is not stressful on my hands and they do not get tired. I bought 3. First day out of the box I made a rug for my kitchen. Thank you for this product.

Fantastic to use and fantastic price

This is the greatest! I suggest that my students by the expansion loom, because the yarn included with the regular loom kit isn't worth the price you pay. This loom is a "toy", but it can be used for creating peg loom masterpieces!

A Fantastic Item Great For Keeping The Kiddos Busy On Rainy Days & For Adults & Kids Any Day!

This is a great item for both adults and for kids. You can attach more pieces to it to make you weaving wider than it is using just one. But great for scarves, runners even afghans-you can sew the sections together without buying more pieces to make it wider. Another nice item! Thanks!
