In XXL this jacket weight 6.5 ounces and includes a carry case weighing 10 grams. If it holds up in any reasonable way, worth the $20.

Love it
Bought this for a 3 day hiking trip with expected rain. Well the forecast changed while on the trip and we didn’t get rained on. However it got chilly and this helped me stay warm. Fits a little big, so take that into consideration. I was worried it would be like a cheap garbage bag, but actually it seems durable. Very light weight and vey packable.

Its not pretty but it kept the rain out and even acted ...
Used this jacket while hikeing in the rockys. I found it to fit loose enough to wear over sweatshirts and even a warm jacket. Its not pretty but it kept the rain out and even acted as a decent wind breaker. Packs down small and is extremely light.

Fabulous product
My second one. Bought my first one for use on my motorcycle and used it riding cross country and in Canada. It is paper thin and lasted for years before I lost the draw string on the hood and it started to weep water. It was such a fabulous product I bought this one and it's just as good. And no, I didn't get any discount. They last for years if you understand that because they are paper thin you can't go poking them with sharp objects. That said they are pretty tough, the first one lasted about 50,000 miles of long distance motorcycle riding in everything from downpours to monsoons in Arizona!

This is the truth
The jacket is not what I expect, but it’s still a “nice to have” item. I was expecting a light weight nylon raincoat for backpacking and camping. What I received reminds me of recycled garden liner. (The black stuff you put down to prevent weeds from growing into your garden) It is waterproof? Yes Is it lightweight? Yes Is it fashionable? No, never will be However, it still does it’s intended job and it weighs next to nothing. Also, it runs very big. I’m 6’ 178 pounds and a medium looks like an XL. I could wear countless layers under the jacket and still have rooms for activities.

It's super lightweight, incredibly breathable, and works like a charm!
I purchased this due to the rain forecast for a recent backpacking trip. It ended up raining for a solid 24 hours, and even though my friends had fancy name brand rain coats, I was the only one completely dry! So so impressed by this little rain coat! It has no bells and whistles- not even pockets and no insulation, which was perfect for me, since it was hot and buggy (bonus- it doubled as bug protection!). It is not especially attractive and does run quite large, but in the winter it would be ideal to have extra space for layers or even a coat. It's super lightweight, incredibly breathable, and works like a charm! And all for under $20?!? Huge, huge fan!

Survived Appalachian Trail Weather
I'm picky about my rain jackets, and this one did a decent job on the Appalachian Trail. So, I give it 5 stars for that! After this one wears out I plan to buy another one, but my actual size instead. I got this one size larger in order to wear warm clothes underneath, but I was uncomfortably hot on the heaviest of rainy days, so my preference would be to not buy a size larger next time.

Phone saver
This thing saved my buddies cell phone when a sudden thunderstorm came out of no where and drenched us while we rode in the back of a truck in the Philippines

Perfect Travel Rain Coat
Wore this jacket in Ireland. It was a great windbreaker, actually held some warmth as it became cooler in the evenings, & withstood a steady, light rain for at least 20 minutes until we could walk back to our car. We loved it & highly recommend!

Order the size you think are, it's generous.
I bought an X-Large because some brands a large fits perfect and sometimes the large is a little too smug. The X-Large here definitely made me feel I could feel easily comfortable in a large. I took it hiking with me in a couple places and it did it's intended job. It's light weight and easy to pack. Because the jacket was larger than expected, during a rainstorm while hiking along a trail, I was able to zip it up with myself and my bookbag both underneath the jacket protecting everything. Sometimes when snagged on branches, I thought it might tear because the material feels kind of foamy, however, it has not yet sustained any tears. The jacket is also not too hot as well. I will definitely be returning for another jacket if this one does bite the dust. It's hard to beat at this price.
