These were absolutely amazing. Although some of them did not glow as brightly, the majority of them so far have. I mean having 300 to go through makes it fine. The colors are vibrant and the kids and adults loved them for the party. Some of the ones that do glow very brightly last into the next day so if you were needing them for more than 4 hours or so they would still be good. Again, some of them did not glow as brightly and those were the ones that went out first. I have not had any issues thus far with any of them breaking open and some of the kids were very rough with them including the whole put them in the mouth thing. Each tube came with connectors. I am not sure how many connectors were in each one, but they seem to be enough. I also cannot confirm or deny if I received a full 300 but I will just say it seems like I did. I am very happy with the purchase and would order them again.

Glow in the Dark Volleyball

Not sure why the negative reviews, almost didn't purchase. I bought these for a youth 12 - 18 year old activity of glow in the dark volley ball. Turning the lights off in a gym with a light up volleyball, black lights to reflect clothing, and using these glow sticks to accent players so they could see others. We taped these to the net, and out lined the lines these things really light the place up. These were worn as bracelets and anklets head bands, and many other creative ways young kids come up with. As far as clips staying together, I kind of expected it to be an issue as active as everyone would be playing volleyball, and they all held up, infact kids pulling them apart were getting the popping sound so they stayed together well. Colors were bright, the orange color did take a little to get started, many thought they were duds, but once the lights went out they were just as bright.

They last all night long!

I ordered glow sticks from OTC to give out to trick or treaters last October. They fizzed out within an hour or two. This time I wanted good glow sticks. I opened one last night to test it. Eight hours later it was still at full strength. Now, 13 hours later, it's still bright enough to see clearly in a dark room. That's plenty! Kids can play with them in the evening and they'll still be bright if they wake up during the night. When I opened the container I thought there were just red, orange and yellow sticks, but I cracked one of the clear ones and it turned bright blue. And some of those that look yellow are really green. The connectors work great so kids can make a bracelet or string the sticks together. I will definitely order Party Sticks whenever I need treats for kids (and adults!)

Hours of fun for camping and summer outings

Ordered a pack of these to go with summer concerts in our local park. The kids love them, and it makes them much easier to keep track of in the dark. The pack came in three tubes of 100 each, which was nice since once you break into one of them you can pretty much guarantee a gaggle of 4 year olds will light them all up. Each tube has a good variety of colors and enough of the connectors to make a massive length of light sticks, or a few dozen bracelets/necklaces. For the little ones a necklace can be made from just 2 of the sticks. The connectors are a snug fit and keep them together, but are still easy enough to assembly that toddler hands can do it. Unlike some other glow sticks we've had, none of these broke or leaked glowing fluid, despite some rough work by the little ones.

In pursuit of scientific research, I recently bought every brand of glowstick Amazon sells and was massively disappointed by all except these. These contained no duds, were true to color, and are the level of brightness one should expect from a quality glowstick.

Wonderful product

Did I need 300 glow sticks/bracelets? No. Did I want 300 glow sticks for anytime I want a little child-like fun in my life? YES! Do they do the trick? Also, yes! I use one for a bracelet and connect a few more for anything else. The package comes with the clear connectors and mine came in 3 tubes with assorted glow stick colors. They glow for quite some time, but not more than overnight. These are fun for Fourth of July, pow wows, Halloween, and any where it's dark, either inside or outside.

Disappointing! Dead sticks and faint glow in 1 tube, didn't open 3rd tube.

UPDATE: The company reached out to me and fixed the issue by going above and beyond expectations! They seriously value their customers and this was unexpected. Not happy with the consistency of these glow sticks. You get 3 tubes with 100 sticks each. I took a tube and hubby took a tube to place the connectors on each one and to activate for the trick or treaters on Halloween. One tube glowed brightly and the other tube had many dead sticks and the remaining didn't glow much at all. We didn't activate the 3rd tube in case they needed to be sent back. Pretty disappointing considering we were planning to put 2 sticks in each treat bag (150 bags) and we came up short and just laid them on the table for the kids to pick 2... and, not surprisingly, many passed and didn't want them. They ALWAYS love coming and getting the glow sticks... but not this year. Attached a photo of one tube compared to the other. These were all activated at the same time... I worked on 1 tube and hubby worked on the other. Big difference, as you can see.

400 Count is a Great Value! Expectations for first time purchasers and parents...

Great value for the 400 count! Product remains consistent in quality, durability, brightness, and duration of use. A few considerations for first time purchasers: Although rare, you may encounter a stick that remains dim - which is common for this product regardless of brand. Brightness diminishes slowly with peak brightness between one to four hours. Four to six hours will have reduced brightness until they eventually fade out - which is also common. Caution to parents, although very rare, very rough play can sometimes snap the outer casing and leak liquid contents. This is not a defect from this brand. It is possible with any brand.

So far, so good

Original: I've only tested one, but it worked great! It glowed for well over 24 hours and the clasp held strong, I wore it all day and it never came off. (Some of the reviews I read before I bought said the clasp were too small and wouldn't stay on but I didn't have that problem) I am using them for a girls slumber party so I will update my review once have used them. (See if it deserves that last star or not) Edit: the girls at the slumber party loved these! They worked great and glowed bright! While handing them to all then girls we only came across 1 that wouldn't glow. I will definitely buy these again for other activities!

good quality. we buy them for grandchild visits. They love to link about ten or fifteen of them, turn out the lights, and perform glow stick dances for us. Great fun for a great price. One granddaughter always makes a jump rope with hers. It all looks so pretty. In the morning, they are still glowing--altho not so brightly.
