• Portable pickup truck or trailer bed cran allows for one person to easily lift engines, watercraft and more
  • Can be positioned on the tailgate for full clearance during loading
  • Mounts in 2"-inch receiver hitch to install only when you need to use crane
  • Boom extends from 36.2'' to 56.7'' is ideal for loading and unloading trucks
  • Load is supported and distributed to a adjustable legs of the crane to prevent overload on your vehicle's hitch receiver

This crane says it's only good for 250lbs when fully extended however that has to be a gross understatement. We lifted half of our raft which is probably about 350-400lbs without the foot support only being supported by the reciever hitch while driving slowly. It has a couple small issues the cable needed to be re-spooled and the bearings separated from the cap between the hitch mount and the actual crane so now they just sit on top. It still swivels fine. I plan to cut off part of the reciever portion since that is its weakest point. Since I don't own a pickup I don't need the extra clearance for a pickups rear hatch. Bottom line if you have a hitch rated for 800-1000 lbs of tongue weight this crane can handle more then it's rated for.

It was easy to put together. If you were a kid and liked Erector Sets then this is a snap. YOU DO NOT NEED INSTRUCTIONS!!! I feel fortunate in reading other reviews. All the parts were here and the unit was put together properly. No Damage to the unit like another person complained about. I put it in the receiver hitch and assembled from there. I did put additional wheel bearing grease on the roller bearings. I had my grandson help me a couple of times when I needed an item held while I put in the bolts. This thing weighs at least 100 lbs. I'm 77 so it feels like 200 lbs. I'll have to get someone to help attach this to my 4X4 and take it off. I believe that you can drive to your location of use and drive it back home to detach. With a 4x4 there should be no problem.

I bought this to pull a Subaru engine. I was going to buy a regular motor hoist but this thing looked like if might be useful for other things. It went together quick. Stick the base in the trailer hitch first then build off of that. It was able to lift my engine just fine on the 250lb setting. I was able to rotate the arm 90 degrees just fine with the motor hanging. It was able to clear without hitting my hood. The winch has its uses but if lifting something heavy just use a chain. The winch binds up, theres like 30 feet of cable. Took me a while to unbind the winch. I’ll probably weld some D rings on the end so i can just use the arm instead of the winch. Overall a pretty sweet unit. If you buy the cheap $50 engine stand the base fits a 2” receiver so you can stick that on there and wheel it around. Weight is pretty heavy, maybe 70lbs. It can be a bear to handle but seems to be alright.

I'm very happy with this product. I mount this in my receiver and I've used it to lift everything from a 40 hp mercury boat motor in my truck to a 300 lb crate with the hoist and put it in my trailer.

I bought it to keep from having to lift heavy crates to the back of my truck but the lift is heavier than the crates. I have not installed it yet to see just how it will work but it is heavy duty, well constructed and should serve well. Will keep you updated. Would not recommend for those over 70!

This thing is handy for me. I moved a lot of over heavy logs with this and it never even groaned. Easy to use and very tough

Great for the price. Unloaded a 400 lb APU out of the back of my truck and into the garage,

very heavy like advertised, but I can get heavy Honda Gen into the back of my truck. the cable gets all tangled up and gets pinched between the cable shives,

satisfied with delivery and quality, no complaints

Freakishly fast delivery! I was surprised when it showed up on my door step way before the expected delivery date. Pretty heavy duty. The only real critism is the assembley instructions. Being an engineer it wasn't too bad for me though. Having done some research this seemed to be the best value for money.
