Great for Jeep Events

This thing works great for off-road club events. Just used it all weekend at Winter 4x4 Jamboree in southern Utah. Was loud and clear and easy to use. We were debating on another model with more features, but we didn’t need them. We did use an external magnetic antenna, but we certainly didn’t need it in a 20-30 Jeep crew. We were able to hear the trail leader and the tail gunner just fine all weekend, even without the magnetic antenna.

It works great, good buy for the money.

This is the second CB radio I bought. When out on location filming its works great.

No batteries

It don't come with battery. It would be much better if it comes with rechargeable factory batteries

Great for Hobbyist

I put an external antenna on, and for indoor use was able to receive some truckers. In the car, with stock antenna, and plugged into the cigarette lighter, was also able to hear truckers on the highway. Can't address the issue of transmission range, as I have yet to make a contact. As a hobbyist, as opposed to someone requiring this unit for important travel use, I thoroughly enjoy it. Used to have a CB in the car years ago, so it is enjoyable to revisit this.

Just like a woman, if you turn them on they’ll make noise, if you turn them off, SILENCE! I love them!
