Thank you to the reviewer that mentioned you could use this with a rag or paper towels, otherwise I may have never bought this. I love this for cleaning walls & ceilings, it's actually just what I needed!

Couldn't live without my Swiffer, works great on the hardwood floors. The dry cloths really pick up the dirt and all the pieces of crud brought in the house on the bottom of my shoes, even though I try to only wear "house shoes" when inside. I like that the bottom is hinged allowing you to push the Swiffer under thin spaces. I no longer use it wet, but it works just as well wet as dry.

This product saved me - I have arthritis in my back and knee's, and normal mopping and ringing out were such a chore and pain to my joints. The Swifter is so easy, no bending, no rinsing out, no ringing. I just put a wet pad on, run it over the floors, and they come out clean. When the pad get dirty, you just change it. I recommend this great product to every one if they want a truly clean floor with no hassle.

I ordered this as a replacement for my very old Swiffer that got broken during my move. The Swiffer makes cleaning up pet hair quick and easy--the pet hair seems to gravitate towards the cloth. If I've dropped something crumbly, I still get out my broom and dustpan, since the Swiffer seems less effective for those textures. The mop function is nice, too. It's good for a quick clean if your floor isn't too soiled. Since I have no kids in the house and I don't live in a muddy area, it suits my purposed perfectly. If your floor needs a serious scrubbing, you would probably need something sturdier than this mop.

This is a great kit for the money, and a good starter kit to see if you like the Swiffer line of products. You get: 1) The mop-you need to connect the poles to the base. Takes about 1-2 minutes total. Super easy! 2) 3 'wet' floor mopping pads 3) A pack of dry pads-7 total, that are packaged together in sealed plastic. It seems to me the way Swiffer makes their money is by the refills. What I do is take 2-3 heavy duty paper towels-not the cheapo towels or they won't do the job-put a little soap, water, etc. on there, and use it just like a 'wet' Swiffer floor pad. Saves me on refills, because those are expensive. I've found this works well-I can't go quite as rough on the floor, but it works fine. Alternatively, if you want a dry floor pad, just don't wet the paper towel.

Arrived quickly. I received a awesome deal. Let me tell you about that! Amazon $2. Coupon clipped. I got lucky on that when I just happened to be looking for a basic mop. I have used this exact mop before but when renting and moving they either get left behind or broken in the move. They work great for my lifestyle. I have a dog with long hair and a toddler. Linoleum floors and carpet. Hair flies in spots the vacuum can't reach and the swiffer dry mop gets it. The wet works great for easy cleanup after a spill residue is left. Also I live where there is four weather seasons so this item comes in handy year round. I just received the item today came quickly and in additional thick cardboard box that was inside of Amazon box(I ordered other items) I'm going to share my next discount I received thru i botta (one word) lfhmgpr (referral code) . I ordered thru their app and received a additional discount. So my total was just about $7 bucks. Can't get buy that at the big box stores. My referral code is lfhmgpr if you want to save and earn extra!

So I put pictures with this and I don't normally take the time to do that but I really love this swiffer product. So it is not going to replace ur broom I want to be clear on that. I first showed everything I swept up in a pile. I then go back with the dry swiffer to get anything remaining which you can see is a lot! It's gross to think I just swept before and occasionally mopped. With this system it makes it easy to keep my kitchen and bathroom floors clean and sanitary. After I sweep and dry cloth I use the wet clothe. I bought a 2 box pack from Amazon for $12. Some people say they rip you off on refills. But I bought both dry and wet in 2 box packs from here which to me make it more reasonable. I hope the pictures help make up your mind on this. I love how easy and effortless this is versus bringing out a heavy duty mop every time I sweep, which isn't going to happen for me . Please like if you found helpful:)

I don't often mop - hate doing floors and windows! - but we did have a Clorox version of the Swiffer. Didn't like it much so seldom used it. But we just had expensive new LVP flooring put in, with a number of other contractors coming in to do work in the room. So it was going to get dusty/dirty, and more than my usual vacuuming was needed. Broke down and got the Swiffer. I thought, "How much better can this be? Isn't one brand of disposal pad mop just like another?" SURPRISE! The Swiffer is much, much easier to use than the Clorox brand. I currently have a shoulder problem, but using the Swiffer didn't aggravate it and the cleanup went super-fast. Yes, I could wish the disposal pads were recyclable! and P&G should work on that, pls. But for now, we are sold on this little product that makes life easier.

Greatly improved from my original Swiffer! Larger surface with rubber pad helps dry cleaners stick better. Also, dry papers are textured and do great job of picking up pet fur on uncarpeted areas. Wet mopping pads are ok but honestly expect to use diy solutions for both dry and wet due to cost/waste of disposables. I like that this is quite light weight and easily maneuvered, a plus with my chronic back problems and klutz tendencies!

I like to use this mop with a washcloth tucked onto the end. I spray my cleaning solution on that and scrub away on the floor. Then just wash all the rags when I finish the whole house. I usually need 1-3 rags per room. Much more eco friendly than disposable covers!
