Free shipping on this beast of a hitch combo!!! And it was everything I wanted in a 14,000 lb hitch/weight dist system. I pull a 39ft Keystone Laredo. This handled it very well. The friction sway control worked just as expected. If you are an experienced RVer, this setup is a no-brainer. Hooking the chains up and pulling the latch up to enable the weight distribution was a bit difficult (had to have the hitch JUST BARELY on the ball) because the lever action was too great of a distance and the angle of the chain hooks would force the chain off rather than carry it over. But that may have been the way the RV dealer set it all up, and no fault of the hardware itself. This rig should last as long as I own this trailer. Very good workmanship, and the price was about $400 less than the dealer-supplied (additional charge) hitch, or anything close to what I wanted from Camping World. It'll add about 100 lbs to the rear of your truck and reduce your GVWR by the same amount, so factor that in if you're planning to pull a trailer that's already at or near your tow vehicle's max. Very happy with this purchase, and the seller.

This product looks well made. Very heavy so you might want two people to help with the box unless you open it up on your door step and move one piece at a time. Cons: First issue is the hardware doesn't come with a washer for the bolt so when tightening the bolt for the ball mount to the shank it looks like the head of the bolt could get jammed into the slot that pivots for the distribution tensioning. The second thing is the instructions do not have a list of tools needed so I had to take everything with me to a store to figure out which wrenches I should use. Also, no torque specifications are provided in the instructions. Pros: Easy to use, and very durable finish. Comes with everything needed to install.(I do believe 2 additional washers could help) Balls come mounted and pre-tensioned. One thing to mention is that a longer drop shank is needed for the Tahoe and Suburban or any vehicle with a bumper hidden receiver.(GMC YUKON/Cadillac Escalade) "GM family" as far as I am aware because most trailers tongue height is around 18" to 20" of the ground. This setup will result in the top of the ball mount being at 24 and 3/4" off the ground. I used CURT 17123 to get the 5 inch drop I needed to level my trailer properly with tye weight distribution hitch.

The hitch is easy to setup and works well with my light camper. It should last me a long time with the total weight support and any future upgrades. The only complaint is the manual not having the socket sizes listed easily in the paperwork. I had to use a 1-1/16" socket to connect the bolts to the w/d head. A deep socket would be best. The sway bar use the small end of a trailer ball wrench. The sway bar attachment for the trailer was a pain to install, but that was likely because I started with standard bits before switching to taper bits to step up the holes. Overall not bad to install and works great.

Hitch reforms just as I had expected. Strong, durable and a great value for the money. Only concern I have is one of the release pins to remove the weight distribution bar, the pin broke after my 3rd time using it. Not sure how I get a replacement pin.

Killer price for such an amazing hitch. Built strong and was easy to install. Great quality, couldn't ask for a better hitch. For the same hitch at the dealership they wanted almost 1000 bucks.

I use this hitch to help between the tongue weight of my 7,000lb car trailer and my cab over camper. Overall I'm very happy with the hitch- and the fact that I bought a 14,000lb version. The hitch works flawlessly and really transformed how easy it is to tow my car trailer.
