Had this camera setup for a few months now. Worked fine for a while until I hooked my internet up to it now it continually freezes randomly and I have to reset the system. I tried installing an update they sent me and still no luck so now they're sending me a new dvr to see if that works. Hopefully this takes care of the problem. When the system is working though I like it. Good picture and I like being able to view them from the app on my iPhone. Customer service has been pretty good about responding to me and now they're sending me a new dvr so I'm happy with that. UPDATE: the new dvr system has been working well now and hasn’t froze once yet (knock on wood) lol. The new dvr they sent me was definitely an updated one. The looks of the dvr itself is the same but the operating system is definitely an updated version and it works perfectly so far. I’m very happy now with my system and want to thank Anran for helping me out. 5 stars for sure for the product and you helping me out 👍

I absolutely love this system. I purchased it through Amazon for my home, wanting something similar to my business cameras, but in a smaller price range. I had looked to update my cameras at my bar and was quoted over $3000, so when I bought the Zosi system, I was prepared to be underwhelmed. Amazing clarity and the night cameras were 100 times better than my "commercial" system at work! Install was very simple (running the wires for the cameras was the most time consuming) and setting it up for web viewing was a snap. Then I had a problem. The DVR kept freezing after a couple of hours. I thought "well of course, look what I paid for it". I contacted service at service@zositech.com and didn't bother to hold my breath. I have had plenty of experience with Comcast and Verizon and wasn't exactly hopeful. Here's where it gets REALLY good! I had an answer, an apology, an offer for a rebate for my inconvenience, and a genuine fix WITHIN MINUTES! I was completely shocked! They had an update for the DVR, super simple instructions, and not one problem since then. They've checked back several times to be sure I'm completely satisfied and even offered to send out a new DVR, but not necessary, it's been running fine since the update! I've included some pictures of my $$$ system at work compared to the crystal clear view from Zosi. I'll update later with the night view (NO light, incredible view!) because I'm so happy with the system and more importantly, the service. I would be confident replacing my work system with Zosi because I know this company is prepared to stand behind their product. (And the PRICE! I still can't believe the PRICE!) If you've been sitting on the fence, pull the trigger!

Great System. I did have a lot of trouble and issues at first. All of them were setup related. I am not real computer literate and that is where the issues came from. I was able to connect with a rep. from Zosi and she helped me through the week long process of getting it all up and running. Lots of emails back and forth. If not for her help, I would have packed it up and sent it back. Actually I had started the process of returning it before I admitted to myself that I it was OK to ask for help. ( no more "I don't need directions"). The system is up and working great. Great support staff. Robert

It is lowest cost for such a security system even buying the hard drive separate, and I put a 2TB hard drive and only used 2 of the 4 cameras so I got two more for spares. The instructions are lacking so it takes a little (just a little) ingenuity to figure out things like the red light is power and the green light means the videos are activated and working, and "play back" only means play back while we have to go to the main menu and click "backup" in order to copy a file onto a flash-drive. The red icon means no sound but this DVR can install a microphone if our State does not object. The small yellow lighted icon is for the motion detector coming on, but even with motion detection the videos are recording 24 hours every day constantly so it gives full coverage. The infrared comes out black-n-white but it is brilliant how it lights up the entire yard like a strobe light and yet completely invisible to our human eyes, except for the little red glow of the infrared around the face of the camera. I attached mine to one of my HDMI's on my TV so to watch a live view outside then I just change from TV over to the HDMI and there it is constantly live monitoring but when I turn away from that HDMI then the TV does not show the video so it harms nothing. I mounted one camera inside but I do not want inside on full time monitoring so I put the power wire hanging loose and so if I ever want the camera inside to start working then I just reach down and push together the loose power cord and then the inside camera comes on only at my comand. I am very happy with this.

I recieved super fast. I had an issue with 1 camera but the company was fast to help out and went the extra mile. I would recommend this system. picture quality is 8 out of 10 but worth the money ..picture i posted is night vision. The system has great night vision..day is good and you can see clearly

I'll be honest with you, I wasn't sure what to expect for under $200 bucks. Everything came as it should and it took me a day to mount and wire up all the camera's. It took me another few hours just to get all the angles right and to move one to different location. Once I had it up and running it took me only a little bit to figure out how to get it running and recording. The main unit is about a 12" x 12" and everything hooks up nice. It comes with a 1Terabite drive and was easy to get formatted and recording. One thing I would say to all, is let it keep the default image resolution settings. If you try to go higher than the camera's will handle, it will cause it to reboot and start all over. I hooked this up to a older TV with the HDMI connection and it stays on at all times right above my computer desk. My real worry was the quality of the camera's. Truthfully I don't think they are 720p camera's myself. If you try to make the image large the image is a bit blurry and unstable. Not the kind of unstable that would make it not be usable but if you have watched a 720p video it's a lot better than this. But that aside, the quality is much better than the older style systems you used to get, and for the money it's worth it. The biggest plus to this system is the night vision. This to me is where this system really shines. The camera goes Black and White when it gets too dark and the images are not awesome, but better than anything I have seen on any of my work systems. They really do show about 65 feet in the pitch dark and though it is a bit grainy you can still make out anything moving out there. I can even see my dog when he goes out to do his thing : p The peace of mind from having this system is worth every penny. We had some prowlers before we got this messing with our water lines and this is why we purchased this unit. If they ever come back, their gonna get a nice ride and three meals and a cot. Also just a helping hint. The joints to the camera's are sturdy, but if you try to tighten the locking clamp by twisting the camera body you will break the joint. So don't be tempted. Get a pair of Channel Locks and hold the camera and then tighten the lock ring, not super tight but snug. You can thank me later : )

I love this system! Besides needing longer wires for the cameras that I do not want to order everything works good! If you are like me and usually set things up without directions then this system is for you. It has clear picture and easy to set up.

Got this because my current system lost 4 of the 8 channels. Long story short it ended up being the power cables on the old system. This system was $150 cheaper than my 3 year old system that was very difficult to remote view from my phone. The old cameras were getting distorted in color either from age or the power issues I had caused the distortion. Replaced my worst four cameras with the do so cameras and now very clear. The zosi app was loaded on my phone and boom we are remote viewing no port forwarding or having to mess with router settings. I will replace my other 4 cameras with do so cameras for $15 ea. For the money. Absolutely. The night photo I attached is my driveway and font yard. The driveway and the road with the headlights is about 100 feet away. Peace out
