I use this holster with my iphone 6 (4.7inches regular one, NOT the PLUS) in an Otter Box Defender case. It fits snug (which is good, because the iphone won't accidentally slip out if the top of the holster isn't velcro closed), but it's still relatively easy to slide the phone out with one hand. In addition to the metal belt clip, the holster's back is built to allow a belt to thread through nylon loops (both vertical and horizontally) - which means there's no way for the holster to accidentally come off of your belt without unfastening your belt and slipping the belt out of the nylon loop. I use the holster with my belt threaded through the loop - it's more secure. The inside of the holster is soft and cushiony so as to protect your phone from scratches, bumps, and drops. While the holster is rugged looking, it's not too industrial looking to wear with business causal attire. It's a great bargain for the price.

Rugged is correct, has been a great case.

Got this for hubby as he drops things, bangs into things, breaks things, well, you get the picture. Since he was determined to get an iPhone, I was equally determined to protect that investment. This has been great, he usually uses the belt loop for work, and the clip for casual. The Velcro closure is good since it prevents the phone from falling out, but is easy to get at. It has held up well, and I just ordered another for my stepfather as he just had to start wearing an iPhone at work too.

My favorite holster

I like a belt clip style holster and this brand works perfectly for my iPhone 6. Mine gets rugged use so the belt clip gets detached after 12-18 months of use but I don't consider that a flaw. Its the stitching that secures the belt clip to the holster body that gives out and IMO anything that gets this much use would fail after a year. I've bought three of these and will continue using this holster and will look to this brand for a new holster should I ever change phone types.

Perfect fit for my iPhone 8 with LP case

So far I love it! Well made and appears to be very durable!! Fits my iPhone 8 with life proof fre case like a glove!! Don’t have to work about this holster breaking off or your phone falling out.

Above adequate, but not perfect.

It isn't indestructible, but is a lot more heavy duty than most other pouches like it. The flap fastens with Velcro hook and loop fabric. This means several things, but the two most important being don't get the Velcro dirty, and it starts to lose gripping strength as time passes and depending upon how much you open and close the flap wearing the pouch. At least it isn't useless when the magnet falls out like some pouch flaps have. The only complaint I have about this product is that I wish the belt clip let the pouch be horizontal instead of vertical. The iPhone 7 is awkwardly long when sitting down, or wearing a seatbelt while driving. Having the pouch horizontal would be more comfortable, depending upon where you wear it on your belt. Can't please everybody every time I suppose. This pouch does fit the iPhone 7 though, I was expecting it not to fit as well as it does.

Exactly what my husband was looking for

Purchased this so my husband could put his belt through the holster. It was exactly what he wanted! It fits his iPhone 6 with an Otterbox Defender perfectly. The phone is easy to insert and remove. The only issue is that it also has a belt clip on it, which my husband didn't want. He was able to pull off the belt clip so that it only has the belt loop. He is very happy!

The best case I’ve ever had! Glad I found it!

This case is just plain great!! I’m a biker, and I am hard on everything! I have been using fabric or leather clip on cases for years, but I’ve had to customize them and make a loop to run my belt through. I don’t trust just a clip. This case has a heavy metal clip (which I might just grind right off), but under that it has a really heavy loop that I can put my belt through! Hallelujah! When I ride I can’t risk a cheap little clip breaking off, and having to watch as my $900 iPhone pounds along the highway. This case also has a ring above the loop that I can attach to a chain. That way I can attach the chain from the case to my belt to save the phone in the unlikely event that the case does somehow come off. I choose to err on the side of caution. This case is heavily constructed, and it fits my iPhone 6 perfectly, with just enough room to spare. I also have a fairly substantial rubber case on my phone, and this case accommodates that extra girth as well. It has a velcro closure (I might put a buckle on it), and very heavy elastic sides, which I like because it gives me expansion room and doesn’t squeeze my phone to death when I’m bending and moving as I work on something. I couldn’t believe that this phone case is only $10! I would absolutely advise anyone who needs a good heavy duty case that attaches to their belt to buy this case. I’ve had many over the years, and they have all worn out or failed. I believe that this case will last for a long time. A good case is very hard to find!

Multi-Use and Convenient!

I have to be honest, I use this product to hold cigarettes while riding horses. It's the perfect size for a pack + lighter. It's easy to manage with one hand and stays firm on belt/waist. I haven't used it for a phone but it's held up great during heavy use and abuse!

Fits My Sony Xperia X F5121

I am very happy with this. Quality is good, easy to use, very durable. I like to use bluetooth headphones while walking the dogs. But for some reason kept having problems with audio cutting out with every step when I kept my phone in my pocket. It only happens on random days so I couldn't figure out what the deal was. If I carried the phone in my hand, the audio was fine. So I bought this holder and now wear the phone on my waist....jeans in cold weather and drawstring nylon shorts in summer. No problems at all. I definitely recommend it.

The "goldilocks" holster for my J2 Core...

Perfect fit for my Samsung J2 Core with a rugged case on it. Just enough clearance so I don't need to fight to get it in or out of the holster. I also like the belt clip, as opposed to the twin straps found on other holsters. It stays on my belt securely, yet I can easily remove it without taking the whole belt off or messing with snaps.
