Very sturdy and convenient lap desk
I really like this laptop desk. After looking around for quite some time, I decided on this model because it looked sturdy and had the perfect amount of options that I wanted. I use it to sit on my sofa and work so I can at least be around my wife and kids instead of in my office space in the basement (better than it sounds, but its lonely... hehe). I really like the adjustable legs because I will use this with my under-desk cycle and it gives me the option to raise the desk so I'm not banging my knees constantly. It's very sturdy, even when peddling, which is fantastic. I also like the removable "holder" for the laptop because sometimes I don't need it and removing it keeps it from bothering my wrists. Lastly, the magnets on the drawer were a pleasant surprise (even though they're mentioned in the description!). It keeps everything in even when I move the desk to stand up. This seems like a well thought out item, which I appreciate. Sadly, I will probably have to buy another because now my wife and daughter have realized how nice it is so I'm back to having the laptop on my lap! How'd that happen?!?!

Great Product for Students
I honestly love this product, I’ve had no problems with it. Easy to setup. Nice and sleek. Some have said that the wood has gotten warped, or have had issues with splinters.....not the issue with me. It continues to be a nice item. I use it when I’m doing hw reading in bed. I’ve found that if the little wooden bar is too low of a reading area to prop my papers on, I can move it up and insert it into one of the holes above to read at a higher eye-level. It’s small little work area on the side is perfect for additional space while working. I very much recommend this product.

Perfect for my mom
I purchased this for my mom after she had some health issues and needed to be mostly on bed rest. She also has a bad neck and needed something to be able to hold up her books and laptop without her having to move her neck. This is not only attractive looking and natural, but it also is super functional. The little pen-drawer is a nice added bonus as well as it having different height levels which are easy to adjust. I could see this tray having many more purposes too, but so far for us it has worked wonderfully and is priced nicely.

This bed table/desk is wonderful! It has been well used for several months while I've been laid up with surgeries back to back and I love it! I'm a truck driver and will be returning back to work soon and I wish I could take this with me! Both legs adjust as stated in the description, the table top does "flip" up to your desired elevation. It is sturdier than one would think because this thing has been banged around a bit. The only draw back I have is the little drawer is really only big enough for a couple of pens diagonally, but I never used it so it wasn't that big of a deal. I have used it for my laptop, my tablet and for my meals in bed. Oh, there was one more drawback, and that is if you write on it, you need something like a notebook, you can't really write with out something under the paper due to the vent holes, which wasn't a problem either. I still give this a 5 mainly due to how useful it has been this past year and how sturdy it is. I would definitely purchase this again.

Sturdiness and stability make up for flaws.
It can be a bit cumbersome, and some may not like that the legs don't fold when extended. Add splinters to the equation--yes, bamboo splinters--and those on the go might get frustrated. But, this is my bed work table. I can WRITE while lying flat on my back or easily type while reclining. The side drawer is great for holding pens. I added a hook latch to keep it closed. Took five minutes. If this is going to be a stationary piece for you, you're golden. Note to older and disabled: this is sturdy but incredibly heavy. I have to use both hands to lift it, but once in place, it stays. Please consider the weight if you require assistance.

I've had this thing for a minute now and I must say I absolutely LOVE this desk
Ok. I've had this thing for a minute now and I must say I absolutely LOVE this desk. I use it all the time both for quick meals while I'm working on my laptop and for actual study/computer use. It looks nice, travels well and does what it's supposed to do. I've had zero malfunctions and no splinters (even though I've been careless with it more than a few times). I hated the price but the product has served me exceptionally well.

Love, love, love!!!
I absolutely LOVE this little desk!!! It is so perfect for my particular needs. I'm stuck in my bed all the time because of being disabled, so sitting at a regular desk is impossible. I love the way it can be moved higher and also the how it it's got several heights for the computer portion itself. When I don't use it for my computer, I can use it for drawing/painting, write letters, prop up my Bible for studying, and so much more. It's not heavy so it doesn't hurt my legs, but it is sturdy enough to do anything I want to do. The only two things I have a problem with is that the drawer could be a tad bit bigger to add some pens or a small notebook in it. As is, it only holds the little part you can put on the desk as a ledge for a computer or books. And the second thing, which is not really a big deal, is the part for a drink. If I'm not careful I could easily spill my drink. I would think it would be a little deeper and a litter larger so drinks stay put. Then there is another plus to the desk. It has beautiful cutouts that is a way to keep a computer cool and it won't overheat. Overall I would say I am extremely pleased with this purchase. The two things that bother me aren't even enough to make me drop any stars, giving it 5 stars all around. If you're bedbound like me then I think you like this little desk as much as I do. I very much recommend it and and extremely happy with my choice!

I use this all the time!
I use this desk every day for everything! I sort through family pictures with it, do take home work on it, use it to put my embroidery supplies on. Everything. I love that its small enough I can tuck it away when I'm done with it and I can pick up up easily and carry it all around the house. This lap desk has become a constant companion. I'm also the type of person who likes to sit on the floor while writing and such, I lived in an asian country for so long that I've gotten used to sitting on the floor while working, and this desk is perfect!

This is my perfect dream desk!
I use this desk to study for school, or just to surf the web. I combined this desk with the LinenSpa reading pillow and I feel like I am on a LazYBoy recliner while doing homework. It is so comfortable while doing homework on my bed and I no longer get shoulder cramps from hunching over. I'm in college, and my room is about the size of a closet. There is no room for an actual desk so this is a good (even better) alternative. I would rather have this set up than a real desk. I also tested this desk out on a coach with my reading pillow, the coach was not wide enough so the desk kept falling. But if I laid down real still I could comfortably get my homework done on the couch. Overall, I think this desk is best suited for a bed. The best part is that it is a space saver. I can fold up the legs and store it in between my dresser and my bed. My computer has never overheated on my bed, however I guess the holes help keep my computer from getting too hot. I babysat my niece the other week and she stole my mini desk and reading pillow to watch movies on her tablet. She actually asked me if she could have my desk for christmas! XD Not likely because I am broke, but if I had extra money I would totally buy her one of her own.

Great, as advertised
This product looks exactly like the picture and is really great!! It fits a good-sized laptop and I like the feature of the cutouts so it doesn't overheat. The extra space on the side is helpful, and I've used the desk for arts+crafts before as well as just for my laptop and it's worked really well for both. I use it on other surfaces like a table that's too low or the couch (instead of just using it in bed) and it's been really good. I only wish it could have one more option to be propped up less, but I'm being picky because it is a really useful and well-made item and I'm so happy with it. I got one for myself and now my girlfriend wants one too and I have to share it lol!
