Excellent product, very easy to install after installation I gave the hood a try to see how good they worked and to see if they would keep the hood up now when I pop the hood it up to let you know it open I release the safety latch and slightly lift the hood and they take over rasing the them selves, I don't have to worry about the hood comming down on my bald head now. Very pleased with this product I would recommend these to anyone that has weak hood shocks. The price is great compared to the auto parts store at $50.00 each.

Best part I've replaced on my 06 Dodge 3500.

It's weird that it's the little things that matter. My truck is an 06 Ram 3500 and the hood struts have been out for years. Annoying but yet it never took priority as part to replace. I finally had enough and ordered these, and by God it's awesome for the hood to once again hold it's darn self up. Now, I hope they last a long time. Very happy. They seem better built that the OEM. It was hard to pry the old ones off but the new ones snapped right in, effortlessly. 5 Stars for sure.

These supports work great and fit just as they should. Now my hood almost jumps out of my hands when I open it!! I was a little sceptical when ordering these as the cost was very reasonable and sometimes you get what you pay for, but these work great and I will continue to use this company for my other vehicles.

Wow, just wow, got these in today. Simple install. I honestly didn't realize how bad my old ones were until I put one of these in and it held my hood up. One would've worked but I know better. Great product.

5 minute installation

The package arrived on time and was packaged as you would expect. In preparation for the install, I pulled out every tool that I owned because I assumed it would be like the struts I installed on the trunk of my car. WOW!! Was I surprised. It took a total of 5 minutes from start to finish. Once the band was removed from the old strut and the strut was removed, all I had to do was place the top end on the strut support and the bottom end snapped on. It was that easy. These struts are very strong. All I have to do is release the latch under the hood, and the hood raises on it's own. It may be more difficult if your's connects in a different way, but for me, it was super easy.

Great price and quality!

My husband bought these for his 05 dodge ram to replace the worn out hood shocks. Overall the quality is excellent and the shocks operate very smooth with no lag. They're stiffer then OEM replacements so it does take some force to bring the hood down but he has no doubt they'll outlast any OEM hood shock.

bought this pair of hood shocks for my 2003 dodge ram 1500. they work perfect. lifts the hood right up. for those that say it doesnt compress upon install, i had the same thing happen to me. i tried shutting it and wouldnt compress. so i just left them on for about 20 mins b4 i tried shutting the hood again and all worked fine. these feel even better than the original ones that were on there,, would definitly buy again

Just wanted to say wow!! These things are great after proping up my hood up for so long with a broom handle it’s so nice to just raise the hood and boom it’s up. The delivery was quick and the installation was super easy as well it only took like 15 mins. I highly recommend these they are made really well and I am pleased

Great hood supports

First I wanna give cred to to how fast the shipping was I ordered Friday came with free shipping which stated 5-8 days I received today Monday. Shocked how fast, so I opened it up and swapped the old for the new took like 3 min no crap, and man these things feel of great quality. I don't know why I hadn't purchase sooner I was using a wooden block to hold my hood up not no more these things work great.
