Never used sponges before due to the germiness of them. But these things are awesome! You can clean them in the dishwasher just fine unless the sponge is breaking down then it's time to change out. BTW You can get a better deal at BBB with the 20% coupons but if you're lazy like me and don't want to trek it to the mall these will do with the two day shipping.

Love these things

Love these things, they create lots of suds and do the job. I am glad that I read the reviews beforehand because apparently if you use scalding water it breaks down faster and this was important to know because I use really hot water when i wash dishes. So now I use water that is not so hot which does not matter because these scrubbers really work and get things out without having to soak in hot water and they are gentle and not harsh. Added bonus is that they do make you smile ... because they are smiling at you :) Have had mine for 2 months and still in good shape.

Love these scrubbers. When I saw these in the store I couldn't imagine why someone would pay so much for a sponge. My sister had a multi pack and gave me one. I've been hooked ever since. 1. They don't stink no matter how long you have them. 2. Warm water makes them soft yet abrasive enough to hand wash dishes. cold water makes them very stiff which is great for washing stuck on greasy pans. 3. They won't scratch surfaces. 4. They come in different colors to easily color code cleaning areas. I use yellow for the kitchen, blue for the bathroom, orange for the car, and green for the dog dishes or laundry stains. They rinse clean and dry fast. Worth every penny.

No scratching, and they don't stink!

Love, love, love scrub daddy sponges, and I haven't bought another sponge since I discovered the company after watching shark tank. I know the mouth is supposed to be great for spoons, but I honestly don't even use it that way. This sponge just cleans everything- my granite counters, my stainless steel sink, my wooden dining table, dishes, etc. NOTHING is damaged, and the best part of these sponges is that they don't stink like a dumpster after a week of use- not only do they do their job but you're actually saving money in the long run, from not having to buy sponges all the time. Whenever they do start to smell a bit I just throw it on the rack in the dishwasher and run it through a cycle, lasts another two weeks or so.

Good value

I use these scrubbies for everything. They do a great job scouring my sink and glass cooktop. I also use them to scrub baked on gunk from my pots and pans and baking dishes. They are softer when you run hot water over them and I like to use them this way for my nonstick cookware so that I don't scratch off the nonstick coating. If you use the scrubbies in cold water they stay stiffer and this works best for tougher jobs like the lasagna pan or silverware. I can usually get 3 or 4 weeks out of each scrubber before they start to break down and little pieces begin to fall off. They work so much better that the scotch bright scrubbies I used to use, plus they don't get moldy because they air dry quickly.

Powerful cleaner, without chemicals...

Scrub Daddy sponges can clean your finest china and your toughest mess, often without harsh chemical cleaners. My stove top is black. Spills get cooked on and I hate using chemicals on cooking surfaces. A Scrub Daddy sponge and hot water is all I need to get the grease, baked on food and boil overs off the stove top. I love that I can throw it in the top rack of the dishwasher and it cleans up nicely, and never any smelly sponge laying around the kitchen. Love my Scrub Daddy!

Great product.

These are wonderful! I saw them first in a discount store and was meh about them. Had never heard of them, didn’t see how they were different from other scrubby things. Ha! They are. As others have said, they start out very firm and soften, in a single use. After drying, they are again firm and again will soften. I had just purchased a new nonstick pan and happened to need a new cleaning product for it - somehow Scrub Daddy appeared. I have used it on that pan and a few cast iron and porcelain coated cast iron pans successfully. Highly recommend.

First time buyer but I havd to say I really do like these and they serve many purposes. I havd mostly used in the kichen. I like using it as a cold hard sponge for difficult to clean areas and I like using it warm and sofft to scrib out dirty pots and pans. It doesn't scratch surfaces.. Can put it in the dishwasher to clean it (top rack is the only way I have tried it). I am a quilter so iI have also used iit to clean my metal ironing plate when it has buiild up from different quilting products like adhesives and spray starch. I used "the buddy" when ithe iron was cold and my Scrub Buddy was cold to clean the bottom of my iron. It works well without scratching the plate. !'m sure there are a million uses but I haven't discovered them all yet!!

Give them a try. You might stick with them like we did!

I am pleasantly surprised with how much I love these! We had always used the green and yellow sponges before this. I have no problem with them falling apart if you just follow the directions. Of course they are going to disintegrate if you use hot water and scrub hard caked on stuff. They are only meant to do that kind of scrubbing with cold water. I find they last a lone time in our household with 5 kids and no shortage of dirty dishes and pans. Will purchase again!

A kitchen must have!

These are great for cleaning cast iron, Teflon pans, and general around the kitchen. I honestly use it for everything around the sink, but I don’t recommend putting in the dishwasher. It says dishwasher safe, but after it’s super soft and disintegrates after a short time. If you don’t put in the dishwasher, they last for a long time.
