Awesome Little Speaker

I waited a few weeks before I wrote anything so I could really test it out. Little speaker packs a punch for it's size. That was just a plus. I bought this simply because it advertised waterproof ability. Well, that claim seems to be true. I am sure if you dunked it too deep, it would fail at some point. With that being said, I have used it in my shower over and over with no issues. I eventually even dunked it 12 inches underwater for like 5 minutes to see if it would fail hahaha. It did not. No signs of water intrusion either. Battery life is pretty long as long as you don't have volume maxed out all the time, which I do not do as it seems to create distortions or "clipping" of the audio. The only issue I have noticed with it is if I use different phones with it and pair then both at different times, the next time a use either phone, the speaker kind of flips out and will pair for like 30 seconds then unpair, searching for a device. Pressing the power button for 6 seconds to restart the pairing / searching process on the speaker fixes that.

Highly recommend. Seems better than older version.

I bought this because Amazon told me it was the newer version of a speaker I was actively looking to buy. The older version had a ton of great reviews with a few common issues reported, so I figured I'd give this newer one a go even though it didn't have any reviews yet. I love it! It was super easy to pair with my Android phone. The sound quality is bumpin'. The "next" and "prev" buttons work with Pandora - a feature reviewers said didn't work with the old model. (I only use it with Pandora so I have no feedback for iTunes or Spotify.) The suction cup is huge, but it wouldn't stick to my tile wall, even when dampened to increase the suction. However, it comes with a handy caribiner, so I just slapped it around the shower curtain hook, which is even more convenient than having it on the wall, anyway. Another issue people had with the previous model was how loud the "Power On/Off" voice was. This one is soft, and actually a pleasant voice. I have no feedback about the battery life just yet, but it charges quickly so even if I need to charge it every few days, it's no problem. One thing to keep in mind is the volume +/- and the "prev/next" buttons are the same. It took me a minute to figure out that simply pressing the button will activate "prev/next", while holding it in will adjust the volume. It probably explains that in the manual, but I only skimmed it, because this is America and I'm impatient. It got wet in the shower and worked just fine. It's a little safer since it's at the top of the curtain, but either way it does what it says it will. I highly recommend!

Amazing speaker for the price!

This is a great little speaker so far (I've had it 2 weeks). It's definitely loud enough to fill the bathroom with sound. I live in a condo and don't turn the speaker up to max volume, as I suspect that would annoy my neighbors. This is more than I expected from a speaker under $20. It doesn't come with the carabiner that is displayed in the first picture. The suction cup actually holds it onto my shower wall, unlike most products I've tried that haven't stayed put. (As an extra precaution, I used the plastic loop on top to run a cord through that loosely secures it to my shower organizer, should it fall one day.) We have hard water, so it definitely doesn't look new anymore. The calcium loves to cling to the silicone sides/buttons. This is just cosmetic however, and doesn't bother me one bit. This speaker is going to be subjected to approximately 30 minutes of water exposure each day. I'll update this review if or when the product fails.

Its also perfect in the shower

Im going to be honest with you all...It does the job, Its not that loud but its loud enough, You know? I carry this on every photoshoot and really changes the vibe for myself and the model. Its also perfect in the shower. I hang it on shower curtains hooks for a better echo and yes that my beer there. It beeps when it volume is reached to highest and lowest. Get it, trust me :)

Great product, great price.

This speaker is a great find for a great price. I was skeptical about buying something like this and it breaking fairly quickly. However, I took the plunge to buy it anyway. I am glad I did! My husband even loves this speaker. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a budget-friendly shower speaker. Battery: I can't speak on this too much, as we generally only use it for the shower. We've gotten several days out of one charge. I don't know how it holds up with consistent use throughout the day, but I'm sure it's not too bad. Portability: clearly this isn't a problem for us because we attach it straight to the shower wall. It has only fallen down once, but that was user error. It is small enough to take and put almost anywhere, yet big enough to get quality sound. Sound quality: overall the sound it great. I have never owned a high-end portable speaker so I can't really compare it. The sound is clear and loud. There were only a few songs that weren't very loud but I'm guessing that has to do more with the song itself. Controls: this speaker is easy to use. No guesswork involved. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. I will be buying this speaker again if the current one ever decides to stop working. Worth it!

Made me a shower rock star

Exactly what I was looking for... I just wanna sing in the dang shower to my hearts content. Glad that it comes with a little d-ring to hang it up, suction cups don't work in my shower. Excellent sound, easy to use, great value. My poor dog disagrees... is now subject to my singing.

Excellent Customer Service!

It was great when it worked. I never dropped this or had it under water. It sounded great for its size, but It randomly stopped charging. It just won't take a charge no matter what. I used this daily and am now looking for a more durable alternative. EDIT: VicTsing saw my 3-star review and promptly sent me a replacement. I highly recommend this product and the seller! They went out of their way to make sure their product was satisfying to me. This speaker gets plenty loud and even has a good bass response. You have nothing to lose with customer service that is this good! Pro Tip: The part that the hook clips to works great at holding a cell phone horizontally when in the shower. I watch youtube videos every day when In the shower.

I like it. I like it alot

I was looking for a outdoor speaker I wouldn't have to worry about getting wet so I could take it camping or backpacking, and so far, this speaker has been awesome. Granted I've only had it for three days, but I gave it some pretty hefty splashes with water and held it under the shower for half a minute or so and it works perfectly. The sound quality changes when its wet, but once the water dries out it returns to normal. I also accidentally dropped it from about four feet onto concrete (nailed it!) but it didn't even get a scratch. It is louder than I thought it would be. Overall, I love this speaker thus far, especially for such a good price. Also, I did buy the product, so I am not biased, in case you were skeptical.

BEST Deal for a Travel Speaker

Over the past year or so, I've purchased 3 of these, one for myself and one for each of my two daughters (one in college, one in high school). For the $19.99 price, the sound quality is good enough for playing music at club meetings, hospital rooms, hotel rooms, and anywhere you might need a speaker. The suction cup works great on glass windows and mirrors. Does not stick well on non-glass surfaces, but the carabineer fills the gap nicely and you can always stick a Command hook up if needed. Holds a charge for about 6-8 hours, recharges overnight. Good advance notification of low battery -- gives you time to plug in. Highly recommend this speaker for gift exchanges, backpacking, travelling -- wherever you want to hear music but don't want to take your high-end blue tooth speaker. A+++

Great sound quality

This is my second VicTsing shower speaker in 2 years. The first stopped working just short of 7 months and the second quit on me after 12 months. I don't recall what happened to the first one I purchased, but the most recent one stopped holding a charge. The sound quality is really great for a shower speaker. I've tried a few other speakers to replace this one, but unfortunately either the sound quality was not comparable to this speaker or the function buttons were lacking in others. It's a good speaker, but in my opinion it really shouldn't break down after 7-12 months of normal usage. I deducted 2 stars for the two speakers that broke down on me. If you buy it knowing that this is a disposable speaker, you won't be disappointed. ***UPDATE*** Wonderful customer service. They reached out and quickly sent me a new speaker. Highly recommended!
