I had tiny spots that would show on light images (e.g., clear blue sky) I cleaned all lenses, filters, etc. Finally identifies tiny spots on the image sensor. These would not move using an air blower... These sensor swabs worked great... also, i just used a generic lens cleaner solution...

My Nikon D7500 had a spot on the sensor, I use the electronic cleaning, that did not work, I used the Clean Air Blower for Digital sensors, that did not work either. Finale, to the most intrusive cleaning: wet sensor cleaning. Bingo! This one did the trick. Sensor is all clean now. This stuff works!

My Canon has a built-in ultrasonic cleaner for the sensor, yet I do occasionally still notice spots and blobs in my images. Using the cleaning solution (not included with this item) and these swabs, I'm able to effectively clean the blobs from the sensor. I moisten one swab for an initial pass and wipe any remaining residue with another. It's a fairly quick and painless solution.

So, I heard about these through a YouTube video I found after I, while trying to blow a small speck of dust off my GH5 sensor, inadvertently spit on it. THEN (and you may now where this is going), tried to wipe that up with a micro fiber cloth, just really pushed it around a bit and then got my finger prints all over it. Long story short, I did the smart thing and decided not to continue to ruin my camera, ordered this kit and with only two swipes, the sensor was crystal clear and back to normal. These actually worked BETTER than I thought they would.

These were a life saver. I had a speck in my photos for the longest time that I just couldn't figure out how to fix. I did some research and figured I would give a different kit a try. The air blower cleaner did nothing and the little brushes didn't either. I was very scared to use this as I know it is a costly fix if something happens and it breaks. However, it was so incredibly easy, I would find it difficult to screw up. Now my photos are super clear and I am so happy! I think I have close to 2000 photos ruined because of the speck that was there. Remember to use lens cleaner with it!

I bought these because they were less $pendy than some. I had a dust problem on the sensor of my Sony A6000. The dust is gone. I used the flashlight on my phone to brightly illuminate the sensor. I could see the dust easily. I bought the Eclipse cleaner (Photographic Solutions Eclipse 0.5 oz. Optic Cleaner for Sensors and Lenses) which is a solvent, not plain water, put three drops on one face of a single swab, wiped it across the sensor left to right, then without turning the swab over wiped it back right to left. My flashlight highlighted NO dust thereafter. I shot a frame of the clear sky, almost no spots.

I have used these many times to clean my Nikon D7000s. I already had the liquid from another purchase so I just bought more swabs. Only thing is they are a tiny bit smaller sized than the Nikon DX sensor because they are sized for Canon APS-c but doesn't really matter.

I've done sensor cleanings a few times, but not enough to feel comfortable. It still scares me every time. This product didn't add any extra headaches to the process. - Sizing was perfect to fit into my D70 - Packaging was extremely easy to open, even one-handed - Scrubber end was down, so handle was displayed when packaging opened - Cleaning material worked great to get almost 10 years of sensor dust off without causing any damage. Before, after blowing, and after swabbing photos are attached. Blowing did virtually nothing. After swabbing the sensor is near perfect.

I bought these while bit reluctant as I don't touch my cam sensor at all, whenever it needs cleaning I take it to our local store to clean, and they do charge for it (I know it's ridiculous but I can't touch a 3000 $ CAM) SO, I encouraged myself to buy these and try them after many good reviews, it worked really amazing, I don't use any liquid while cleaning (anm not so courageous) but it work fine, it has a rubbery tip covered with cotton, which is really smooth and leave no traces neither scratches. I don't use the tip twice as because I live in a very humid dusty are, even our clothes in cupboard get dusty, so I won't be risking my cam to get scratch from previous cleaning. Nice price, and light weight, can fit in any bag.

This was my first time cleaning my sensor and while everyone and their uncle seems to be using the Photographic Solutions Sensor Swabs, I was having a hard time with the price they charge for them. Other than the reviews here, I couldn't find much about this VSGO brand, but decided to take a chance with them. Mainly because they are WAY cheaper. I did however chose to use their Eclipse sensor cleaning fluid, even though VSGO has their own, because Eclipse has been used, tested, and is known for not leaving streaks, etc. These sensor swabs come individually sealed and are easy to tear open when you're ready to use one, since you don't want to take it out until you're ready. It's a long skinny stick with a paddle end covered in some soft woven fabric. It doesn't look like the pec pad material or what I've seen on other swabs. Three drops of Eclipse saturated the pad nicely and it went across the sensor smoothly as the plastic stick bends just enough to apply the right pressure. In my case I had a piece of...something...stuck in front of my sensor. I cleaned the sensor using three different swabs, and while the rest of the sensor was clear, the spot had only reduced in size. I read you're not to supposed to do anything except swipe across the sensor; Don't rub, go back and forth, etc. Just wipe across, discard the swab, repeat as necessary. Well, that spot was getting smaller, but was still really stuck on there and the fourth time didn't seem to make a difference. This was on a used camera I got pretty cheap, so without anything to lose, I put a drop of Eclipse on the corner of a new swab and as gently as I could rubbed at the spot in a circle. The spot lifted without the sensor seeming to be screwed up. I did a fifth swipe with a new swab and Eclipse for good measure and was delighted I couldn't see the spot anymore. Well, I can kind of , but compared to what it was it's hardly noticeable. Had I not had that resilient spot, I would have gotten the sensor clean with one swipe. Being left with five mostly clean looking sensor swabs you're not supposed to re-use on the sensor, I decided to use them to clean my camera body and lenses. They worked really well for cleaning my lens mounts, getting underneath the rubber lip and clearing out a bunch of stuff that could have eventually found their way on to the sensors. So extra use out of them that way. I can't say about the other brands, but these VSGO sensor swabs worked really well and I'd definitely recommend trying them over the more expensive/questionable ones.
