Works great for finding Templar gold and not damaging it, probing your way safely through mine fields and was super surprised at how easily it penetrated the cranial vault of zombies with it's super light weight making it indispensable....

This item works really well with a little practice. I have always dug for my coins with a hand digger or small shovel, but I am learning to prefer this tool when looking for coins as it tears up the grass a bit less than actually digging.

This is the best Coin probe, bottle probe you can have! I have 3 of them and i love them!

I chopped off the point and filed the edges...now it's a squib rod for my small bore handguns!

Nice coin probe. Only thing that I would do is round the end some. The end has a point on it and would hate to hit a gold coin with it. A little sandpaper or emery cloth could be used to round it over.

This is great for popping coins out of the ground in public parks while metal detecting . makes the park people more willing to let you detect when they see your not digging plugs . very happy with it

Great probe! Works exactly as it should. I have only scratched one coin of the dozens I have found so far with the probe and that's because I was really digging at it trying to learn the difference in the feel between coins (smooth) and rocks (rough). As for comments that it bends... Um... Yeah, of course it does! You're using it wrong. The brass probe is soft, it's supposed to be soft so it won't scratch the coin. That's why you also carry a steel screwdriver to pry the coin out of the ground once you locate it with the soft brass probe. Full disclosure: I was hesitant to use it at first, thinking that poking at and finding a coin in the ground was some sort of voodoo. Didn't really believe I'd be able to do it. The probe sat in my bag for a week before I finally pulled it out to see if I could poke and feel a coin under the dirt. 20 minutes later I took the little shovel out of my bag because I didn't need it anymore. Watch a couple of YouTubes on how to pop coins with a probe and screwdriver, try it out, don't be so hard on yourself at first and you'll be surprised at how quickly you will pick it up! It's SO much faster than digging!!

A very good probe. YES under enough pressure it will bend... but it's meant as a *probe* not a shovel! And due to the fact that it IS designed NOT to scratch coins, the metal IS softer than steel. But used appropriateely, it's great. I bent mine, shrugged, bent it back straight and went on using it. Nice implement.

Fist day out with the tool, it was used within 5 minutes. Its a plus to have in your kit.

Very good tool to have when you don't want to dig every hit...nice length for leverage without being too long for your accessory belt/kit. The handle is the perfect shape for comfort and fills your palm. It's a soft grip; again, nice for lots of easy probing. A must-have! Thanks!
