Works great. When using must move dish very slow up ...

Works great. When using must move dish very slow up or down / left or right to get the strongest signal. Once your locked in and have the dish secure remove the finder and reconnect the cables and check the tv. Tv will not work with finder connected.

High Quality

I was able to use the signal strength readings to dither the dish alignment with this meter and improve the HD signals on my Directv service. Low cost of meter is a lot less and using the meter takes less time and is more convenient that a service call.

Easy to use and very accurate.

great meter

I moved my HD dish 100 feet from the house into my field to get a clear sky away from the trees. I set it up by going back and forth to the house looking at the screen, calling back and forth to my wife etc..... it took forever but I got it working. This past winter, the storms and the high winds blew the dish out of position. I didn't want to go through the same fiasco so I bought this meter. I connected it and had the system tweaked in.........in less than 5 minutes. Love it!

Worked for us

We watched a video on how to use this meter. And I read the directions. It took us about 5 minutes to find the correct satillite. And we are technically challaged. My husband wishes we had bought one years ago.

works well with Directv SWM system

works well on my Directv portable dish SWM system. Still have to use on screen functions for final alignment.
