Firm rods and good mounting hardware. I have very heavy curtains with light liners hanging off this rod, and it works really well, doesn't bend or bow in the middle like the one which was replaced. I read someone else had trouble installing these. I didn't. I just angled the bracket away while putting in the top screw almost all the way, and then the bottom one went right in. As with most drapery rods, you can't and don't want to use a cordless screwgun to install. Use it and a small drill bit to prepare the hole, and put the screws in by hand. Watch out that you don't nick the bronze finish during installation, it's a coating not solid.

Very nice quality and finish. I used this rod to hang a drapes over an entrance door to my sunroom. It installed easily and coordinated nicely with the drapes I chose. I wanted a simple rod with an appealing look as it is part of my family room. The cost was well below any other rods I had looked at in various stores and quality well above many of them. I recommend this rod to those who want a quality rod with great appearance at a very reasonable price.

We love the look and quality of this curtain rod so much that we've purchased this make and model four times in a row, as we redecorate each of the rooms in our home! The rods look very high quality and the weight/ durability doesn't disappoint. The rod in our living room has been up for about three years and holds up a pretty heavy set of darkening curtains, above the vaulted windows, without any issues. Our rods in the playroom, sensory room, and kitchen have been up from two years to two days. They're ALL exactly what we wanted! We'll definitely be back for more!

Great product, solved our porch problem. 2 issues: 1) "limit per customer" is ridiculous - this isn't 5 computers being sold at cost. 2) the shape of the supports makes the most important screw almost impossible to reach. The solution to #1 was to have a friend order one for us. The solution to #2 was a) use star head screws instead of the worthless screws that come with the product; b) create a template for all the supports to be installed; c) pre-drill the screw holes using the template; and d) drive in the screws part way several times to let the star-bit do it's job. Worked perfectly and 40 mph winds don't even phase the lanai drapes these rods hold.

I was concerned about the issues with the screw hole placement, but I had no problem at all attaching these to the wall with a normal screwdriver. Happy to see they provided wall anchors. Looks good, securely holds blackout curtains - I'll probably get a couple more for other rooms.

Install complaints? No idea why. But 1st, it looks fantastic. If it's difficult for you to screw other than straight forward this not for you. But if you have minimal skill and can screw from a slightly downward or sideways angle you'll finish putting in the top screw in under 60 sec. Note: would not recommend using power tool to do this. Good old fashioned Phillips head screwdriver does the trick. That's why it takes about a minute. Doing it by hand rather than power tool is "the secret."

Outstanding look and a quality far superior to the curtain rods I had previously from a local department store. Installation was quick (only about 15 minutes) and very simple. For anyone reading other reviews about the design issue on the wall mounts... It certainly could have been designed better but it is not a major issue if you simply screw in the top screw first and hold bracket with the top screw being center and the bottom at either 3 or 9 as if looking at a clock face. Once the top screw is tightened you can simply rotate the bracket to align the bottom screw at that point, much easier than trying to tighten the top screw from above.

You literally just need the correct tools and proper skill set to install this. Don't flame the product because you're not handy. If you can't do it, hire someone to do it. You need a long enough screwdriver if you don't have an impact driver with an extension. You also need a drill if you're going to use the anchors (so you should have an impact driver). I was able to bite into the stud and didn't need to the anchors. Actual review The pole is sturdy, it comes with everything you need, it comes with the brackets to hang it, there is no design flaw, it's not expensive, and it was delivered quickly. What is there to complain about?

Very nice curtain rod, we have it expanded to 120", at this length when you mount the rod it feels and looks like it will bow, but with the supplied center support it holds our heavy black out curtains nicely. No sagging at all, even when opening and closing the curtains. Other reviewers have mentioned that the top screws don't go in straight, its true! The bracket design makes it difficult to get them in straight. But while mine angled in, a right angle screw driver mounted them flush with the bracket. I have no issues with that at all. Everything is color matched so unless you're looking for it you won't really see it. Mine mounted nicely and are very sturdy. Three brackets are provided and extend 4.75" from the wall and are about 2.75" tall(mounting flange) and are made of some type of cast metal. My only suggestion get better screws, the ones provided deform pretty easy. The rods fit into each other pretty snugly with no excess play between the pieces. Overall they were better than what I could find locally.
