Met expectations and more!
Knew exactly what I was buying and I'm satisfied with this charging pack. The starting pack of batteries with this is fairly decent and appreciated. The battery life is really good, even better than I expected. I used the batteries on a small power screwdriver and lasted a while before recharging. I also used the AAAs for a small color changing mini lamp and sure enough lasted more than the dollar store Sun---m batteries from the dollar store or even ener----r batteries. Charging time is fast though I don't care too much and the feature that it stops charging once full is fantastic. I can't complain too and its hard to criticize, however, my only concern was that it didn't arrive with a wall adapter which is fine because I had an extra iPad wall charger lying around.

Outstanding charger and batteries
Expectations (met): Charges batteries with clear progress indication Pros + Design. This company put a lot of thought into the design of the batteries and the charger. The batteries are easy on the eyes and the charger is very functional. The progress lights are clear, RED = empty, GREEN (flashing) = charging, GREEN (solid) = ready. The lights activate individually instead of in pairs like similar chargers in the market. Some chargers require the user to charge two batteries at once instead of one. My favorite part of the design is the open slot behind the batteries that makes them very easy to remove. You can remove the charger and pop them out with a push or scoop them out with your finger. Other chargers make you pry the batteries out individually, and this manufacturer understands how tedious that can be! + Price. The price of the charger and batteries is very competitive in the single-use and multi-use battery market. If the batteries and charger last as long as the manufacturer promises then the value of these rechargeable batteries is clearly superior to non-rechargeable ones. Cons - Smart packaging wasted. The batteries come in small plastic containers that can hold 4 of the batteries at once. However using these protective cases is not functionally-sound. The cases can only fit AAA batteries and they open and close with a clasp, making taking them out and putting them back in a bit of a task. It'd be better if the manufacturer designed a purposeful and reusable package for the batteries. Something that I can actually use again and again in the future. If not then it may be better to ditch the expensive packaging and switch to a thin plastic casing or bag instead in order to reduce the cost/price point of the product. Summary This product has a creative and functional design that satisfies all the consumer's rechargeable battery needs.

Great charger and batteries
I love this charger. Once a year I buy a few sets of rechargeables for the many game controllers, remotes, toys and other electronics in the house. This charger is the entire reason I bought this set instead of just the batteries. Unlike the last one I purchased each recharges by itself instead of in sets of twos which is great since some of my batteries are older and don't hold the same charge as they use to. I have used these batteries and they take quite awhile before needing to be charged with my Xbox remotes. I would suggest using a a sharpie or nail polish to tell which set are the newest if you continue to buy the same brand.

Update of my review - Excellent customer support which you seldom see from a vendor.
The charger probably has problem. I placed the cells in the charger and the charger keeps on changing the cells and the indicator never turns off. It keeps on charging and the cells are warm. I switched to the other 4 cells with the same result. The terminal voltage indicated the cells are at the fully charged voltage level. I didn't return it because the shipping will cost me $12. I can still use it but have to turn it off/remove the batteries after 6 hours. I believe the initial testing has over-charged the first 4 cells/batteries and probably damaged (reduced the charge cycles) the cells. I will not buy this again...will avoid this brand. BTW, I am a Computer HW Engineer. This is the update on July 22 After I submitted my 1 star - avoid rating. The seller proactively contacted me and offered to send me another unit to try with no extra charge. This is a real surprise to me and this shows seller cares about the satisfaction of the customer. This alone deserves a 5-star rating. Though they didn't send me the batteries, it is OK with me since this is not an expensive item. I tried the charger today and it works. It would be good to see in the future EBL will tighten the quality control, especially for this type of simple product. Again, I am a happy customer. Thanks.

Recommended - Better than most
I liked the fact that this charger allows you to charge odd number of batteries (1,3s or 2,4s). I also liked the fact that this charger charged batteries that even the official charger didn’t like, such as the old ones that haven’t charged in a while, as well as different voltages, at the same time. While this charger doesn’t connect directly to a wall socket (no prongs), it does have a little micro usb slot (cable included) that allows you to charge batteries wherever you can plug in a usb. A good charger, that comes with bonus batteries.

This batteries are a must have!! I bought 2 set please read and like
Hello amazon shoppers, Guys, I got this for my speedlite flash TT560 if you do not about flash it's OK but the reason why I mention it is because the flash is a power sucker. It drains batteries fast. And this batteries are simple amazing for two key reasons. 1. it's portable since it can be charge anyone where there is a USB sockets making it conviniently and 2. They charge fast and it comes with 8 batteries. And there is a number 3. They are affordable. I hope you like my review. If you do please like where it saids "found helpful". It helps me and It let me know that people are reading them.

NO MORE having to have 2 batteries paired to charge them
batteries holding up well. had to do a charge on them before use but working just fine. Charger is great charge one battery at a time and clear to see when they are full the red light goes green. Its a no brain-er really. Update 7-13-17 bought myself a iMax B6 to test these and as you can see they results are actually good 2475mAh to charge them. Optimal max drain recommended 0.6 amp Optimal max charge rate 1 amp. The charger with this order is working but im wondering if it is working properly after running this test. Ive been having issues with the charge not lasing long with these. energizer and duracell batteries i have. Obviously its NOT the batteries. 7-15-17 Yeah sure enough its under charging all batteries by 700 to 900 mAh Im a bit disappointed no wonder the batteries was not lasing as long now i have to buy a charger that is easy for my fiance to use.

Arrived on time; better than expected
Arrived on time and seems like a great quality product. I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention when I bought this (oops), I just needed rechargeable AAA batteries and a charger. I did not notice that this also charges AA batteries. I'm also impressed that this charger fits on the bottom of the outlet with a cord plugged into the top. This may not seem like a big deal, but I've had battery chargers in the past and all of them made it impossible to have anything else plugged into the outlet. I am very pleased with this product; it is much better than I was expecting, even with the good reviews I read.

Good customer service and one of the few that charges singles
The charger runs each battery independently, which is awesome but doesn't seem to charge to the same capacity as our Duracell charger. After a few days, it also started to make a high pitched noise we could hear when walking past it in the kitchen. Still an all right unit for the price but I'll look at other units when this one is needing replacement. *Update 12/16/17* Customer service is excellent and the replacement charger fixed my issues. The new one is charging consistently across all 4 channels and doesn't make a high pitched noise like the first one did. Batteries now appear to be performing the same regardless of which charger they come out of (Duracell vs EBL) but this one can charge 3 at a time which I absolutely need since my headlamp is a 3 battery device. EBL will be considered for future purchases now that I know they support their product. That's getting rare these days.

Good batteries, reliable charger but not low self discharge and definitely not rapid charging!
The EBL 2800mAh batteries themselves are excellent for the money. They are NOT low self discharge and will lose their charge over time. They come in at around 2600mAh to 2700mAh according to my LaCrosse BC-9009 and work excellent as high power ni-mh batteries but I wouldn't put these into devices that may sit idle for weeks/months. The included battery cases are quite a nice thing to have, they are of very high quality and excellent at preventing the batteries from accidentally shorting out. The charger (EBL 807) itself is not what I would call a rapid charger. It's a four battery smart charger that has a large cut out down the middle to aid in cooling off the batteries, something that a rapid battery charger would need but the sticker on the back of the device tells me otherwise. It says the output is 800mAh for 4 battery bays with each receiving 180mAh. I guess this charger loses 20mAh in efficiency losses somewhere. Rapid chargers can do anywhere from 300 to 1000mAh charging rates, so this is much more of an overnight charger. The light starts off red when you put in a low powered cell, gradually turning orange and ends up green when done. The charger CAN charge individual batteries in any combination of 1, 2, 3 or 4 batteries total. This has been tested by placing an empty battery in an individual slot and checking it after the light turned green, I used my LaCrosse BC-9009 to verify a full charge and every slot can charge a single battery. Slow charging does make your batteries last longer in terms of cycles. Rapid chargers tend to reduce the amount of times a battery can be charged so for those who need the maximum amount of cycles, this charger isn't bad at all! The full battery detection is done by the negative delta V method which does make this a smart charger, it doesn't use a timer like cheaper chargers and is pretty good at figuring out when batteries are full. I so far haven't had one battery undercharged with the EBL 807, the batteries never really heat up due to the slow charging rate and so far it's a great cheap purchase. Overall for the money, it's an excellent purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it if you don't care about low self discharge or rapid charging.
