Very thankful for this

Excellent! This has been such a wonderful addition to my life! I dont use it for medical supplies, I use it for food. My mean-sometimes landlady said i could not have more than one treat in the freezer because she said there's no room. Big lie. She's just being the b---- she sometimes can be! She also has cut the cable and internet. Now, she talked of only letting just one load of laundry be done per week. So, back to this. Only one time it didnt work well but otherwise I've had this for a year in August and it works great. So very glad I bought it.

-35° F, can be used on sushi/sashimi

Some people might be saying it goes as low as -20° F, because that's as low as their thermometer states. I got 4 thermometers that go lower then -20° and they all read around -35°F in this freezer. If you freeze farm raised never frozen fish at -20°F you need to freeze it for 24 hours, at -35° F it needs to be frozen for 15 hours. Don't freeze just any fish for sashimi, some fish should not be eaten raw. Texture of the fish is still silky after 15-24 hours.

Perfect size for storage of meds and extra ice cream! Very nice. Plugged it in and a glass of water was frozen 2 hrs later when we checked it. Perfect additional freezer for our little condo!

Gets colder than the specs -- which is great!

The spec on Amazon says it'll get down to "...-20°C (-4°F) under room-temperature conditions." And confusingly, the written specs in the box say "...-5°C." However, in a room with ambient temperature of 70°F ours got down to a whopping -21.5°F. Awesome!

Will buy another - Impressed

Outperforms what they advertise. Buy 2. However, when it was shipped, the outside box was right side up, but the inside(actual package of fridge) was upside down. Not a big deal overall if you are patient and let it sit for a day or 2 without plugging it in so the oil will settle. A couple of plugins for a just a second, then let it sit again, and you'll be fine. Frankly, any refrigerator/freezer that has been moved should be treated this way.

Good for extra cold storage of biological specimens

Freezes very well and even below the advertised minimum temperature. Very well packaged for shipment. Only minus is that it keeps temperature at minus 18°C (0°F) even at MINIMUM setting. You cannot adjust it to a slightly higher temperature that might be adequate for some purposes.

Great Price, Quiet and Works Well!

This freezer works perfectly. It’s mainly used for ice packs. Hubby has burning feet that wakes him during the night. What a convenience to have it in the bedroom. It’s quiet and doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Super Cold- Great For Botanical Extractions

This little freezer gets super cold! Just three hours after plugging it in, the temp on my regular thermometer was buried past the maximum -20F marker and the digital thermometer read -32.8F. This is a great little freezer for doing botanical extractions. Will keep your alcohol and material super cold to prevent picking up unwanted waxes and lipids in your extraction. UPDATE - The specs for this freezer are definitely wrong or are for the normal setting. After 24 hours I got a reading of -40.5F inside the freezer on the maximum temperature setting.
