This six foot cable worked perfectly and is well made, but it was too short, and instead of doing the right thing and exchanging it for a longer one I strung it between the computer and the TV, letting it hang a few feet above the floor. I now have a ten foot cable that lies on the floor, so I'm just copying the party of the review of that cable that talks about what happened when I tripped heavily over the too-small one: "The AmazonBasics cable is very sturdy, but I did manage to break the first one I bought because at 6 feet it was too short to lie on the floor, making it inevitable that I would eventually trip over it. Frankly I was happy that the displayport plug on the 6 foot cable broke off instead of knocking the computer to the floor. Fortunately the 10 foot cable lies on the floor, and now I'm a happy little camper. I have several other AmazonBasics cables which have never given me any trouble, so I'm confident that this is the last cable I'll need." As you can see I consider it a feature, not a bug, that the mini displayport plug broke off instead of crashing my computer to the floor after I blundered heavily into it. You may prefer that your cables survive your equipment, but that's up to you...

Great AmazonBasics 3.5mm two-foot cable for five bucks. Got this for connecting from the earphone jack on my iphone to the aux jack in my car. What is nice about the plugs for this cable is that they each can fit in the hole on the case/bumper going to snuggly insert all the way into the earphone jack on my iphone. my OTHER old 3.5mm cable barely makes it in and as a result loses connection once in a while. But the plug for this new perfect AmazonBasics 3.5mm cable fits nicely in the hole in the case/bumper going to the jack on my iphone. Highly recommended getting this 3.5mm cable.

I wanted to take better advantage of all the inputs and outputs on my computer's sound card. I especially wanted to be able to hook-up a 5.1 surround system using some random speakers and small amps. These cords fit the bill perfectly. They're long enough to reach from behind my PC to where they need to terminate, and they're small and flexible enough to be easy to work with without seeming fragile. I was hesitant to get a box of 10 cables but I'm glad I did because after a few weeks, I realized I pretty-much needed all of them. Way to go Amazon for making these available at a great price!

I bought this cable to replace one that I had for years, and was worried that it wouldn't stand up as well as the one I previously had. The construction feels fairly solid, but the cable itself is on the thin side. I've only had it for about a week and it's impressed me this far. I keep and aux cord in my car and with that it gets stepped on and pulled a lot by passengers. The last cable I had for 4 years and worked great until it someone stole it from my car. Either way, I'm sure this cable will be a suitable replacement. If anything changes I'll update.

These cables are 'de-rigeur' for any audio set-up, and they're priced right. Great quality that should hold up under my abusive treatment. Did I ever tell you how many times the Hoover sucked up the AKG headphone cord? No? Well, if you're as abusive to equipment of all stripe as I am, you'll appreciate this sort of quality. I can't recommend an encounter with a Hoover (that beater-bar's a mutha!) but for most 'normal' folk, these cables oughta be just fine...Enjoy!

I bought this AUX cord for my car in Jan 2018, it's now Feb 2020. So over 2 years of pretty consistent use, and constantly sitting in a very hot/cold car throughout that time. It seems to have held up, it works fine still. One of the silver parts that plugs into the AUX port of your car/your phone has started to wear down some, you can't see the AmazonBasics logo anymore. It's only on the side that I use to plug into my phone, it's probably gotten rubbed off from people sitting on it and stuff. Otherwise, the cord part is unmarred and it works. It does what it needs to for the fairly cheap price. 5/5 stars.

I'm not a technical audio whiz, and I'm not one who can tell much difference between MP3s of varying qualities vs. CDs. What I AM however, is someone who really enjoys audiobooks, NPR and listens to music pretty casually. I bought this cable to physically connect my Bluetooth headphones to an older, non-Bluetooth capable MP3 player. It serves its purpose well. For my purposes, audio quality is just fine, and I don't notice any distortion or hissing. I don't expect it to last forever, but I've had it for a few months now and its tolerated the everyday abuse that comes with a careless preschooler and a 2nd grader who carted it to and from school in her backpack for a week or so. It was a good price and does what I want it to. I couldn't really ask for more.

I bought this for my switch as my phone doesn't have a headphone jack which sucks, but aye what can you do. It came in a small flat box. decent size for the price. Sound - It sounds great. In the view I plugged it into my Anker speaker and as you see by me playing around on fire emblem. It comes through nice and clear. Straight up no static at all. plugging it in and taking it out you still get no static like other plugs do. As it does it's job well. Looks - I love the shine it has to it. It really feels like it was polish and looks very expensive, but it's not. You can curve the cable without worrying about it breaking as it has some strength to it.

I have used this product for 5 months now. In an extreme environment (Afghanistan) this stereo cable and performed flawlessly. The male ends easily clip and lock into place. The braided line has not frayed and despite frequent movement of the cabling during use due to operational requirements, it has remained like new. I highly recommend this stereo cable.

There isn't a huge amount to say about this aux cable. It's adequately well built. It sounds fine. But the connectors at the end are thin enough to allow it to be plugged in through the headphone jack opening on most smartphone cases. No more taking my phone partially out of its case to plug it into my car's aux. Seem inconsequential? Maybe it is, but I think, at this price, it's an awesome feature. Just one of life's small annoyances eliminated at a very reasonable price. This isn't just a cord. It's a VICTORY.
