Looks great and great for putting cushions from our outdoor seating.

We love it. Also bought the 150gal box (a few inches longer, wider and taller) to fit all the cushions from our outdoor porch area to keep them clean, dust free and dry. There are some ventilation holes on the bottom that could let in black widow spiders (prevalent here) butholes can be filled in. They appear to be water resistant unless rain is horizontal. There are also western rdiamondback rattlesnakes here in the high desert but they cannot get into these boxes. They are heavy enough so that wind won’t blow them over or away (even when empty) yet light enough for two people to pick up and move. ALL plastic in dark brown and designed to look like they’re stained/painted wood (but they’re not). They also hold 2 grown people to sit on them to use as a seat. We couldn’t be more pleased or satisfied. However the first 150gal box we ordered from Amazon came with a broken piece (not even in the box). It also took about a week to get there even though advertised as Prime. We were able to return it (UPS) for a full refund and ordered the same product for only $12 more from Walmart, got it in 3 days and it too was delivered to our door with NO DAMAGE. Overall great buy for the price!

Other reviews mentioned their product came damaged but I did not have any issue with that. It came on time and in perfect condition. There are relatively few parts and it was easy to assemble, though some steps required two people. This wasn't due to difficulty but because the parts were too large for me to hold up and screw in the hinges. It is very spacious and holds 8 patio furniture cushions (23x23x4) plus throw pillows and there is even some room to spare! It has proven to be sturdy and can be used as a bench.

Good and solid

I keep several guinea pigs who require a lot of timothy hay. I buy the hay by the bale and have needed something to keep the bales dry and accessible on my covered back porch. This deck box fits a huge bale with room to spare, and is study enough for adults to sit comfortably on top. Easy to snap together and has 2 strong pneumatic hinges to keep the lid from slamming shut.

Keter Deck Box is Sturdy and Easy to Assemble

Upon reading a few of the reviews regarding packaging/damage I may have been a bit reluctant but am very glad that I purchased this deck box. It arrived in a large cardboard box undamaged and was shipped very quickly at no charge. Same item at Home Depot was priced higher and they add a delivery charge so this was a determining factor. The seven basic pieces (six sides including the two piece bottom) were very easy to assemble. The plastic/resin pieces click into place and there are only 14 screws required for the entire assembly. Two screws for the bottom and the other 12 for the hardware (hinges and lock, etc.). It is very sturdy and good looking and rather than an item made in China, this unit is made in Israel. It looks like it will hold up for many years to come.

Perfect for our needs.

I was very pleased with this box - it came well packaged, easy to follow directions, and took only minutes to put together. It is huge inside and will fit all of our patio cushions and then some. Best money I've spent in a while! We went with this particular model over others because this one looked easiest to clean. Other faux boxes have a wicker design, but that just creates more crevices for dirt to get suck. This one looks much easier to keep looking good.

Great pool box

I purchased this pool box because it was grey. It is hard to find anything other than brown. I do not know how long it will hold up but I think it will last a while. I live in California so we don't have crazy winters but we do have hot summers. It has tons of room for all of our pool stuff and I love how nice it looks. It was extremely easy to put together, instructions were basic but they were hardly needed. I had it built and ready to go in about 15 minutes. The packaging was slightly damaged however no damage to the product and no parts were missing.

Waterproof through relentless storms

This deck box came quickly and looks exactly as pictured. (Don't expect something lovely, but it blends in) Very easy to assemble, no problem. Very large and sturdy, which we expected from reviews. We were not sure if it was waterproof, but 2 days after it arrived we filled it with cushions and left for a 10-day trip. There was a deluge of rain, 12 inches over the week! It rained nearly every day. Not a cushion got wet. We were pumped. Can't guarantee but it works for us.

Impressive!

There’s 2 things I don’t like in life. Plastic and big purchases. But I’m so glad I bought this. We needed function on our front porch for toy and outdoor storage. I put this together alone with a little help of my 12 year old. It took about an hour or less. I love it!! I was leery because it’s not a big name brand but I was impressed with the plastic quality and the hardware. Definitely will be well used and I feel it will hold up. Also great to have the seating!!!

looks like a wooden box/chest

I actually bought this to store my Christmas tree in, and it's in the front room. The look of it is decent, and from first glance, looks like a wooden box/chest.

Nice large box

We bought this box to store all of our pillows from the outdoor sectional. This box is so big it fits all of them. Assembling was a breeze and I (woman) was done in about 15 minutes with a child as helper. Don’t try to bend things, give them a good smack and they’ll fit perfectly together. I like that you can add a lock so you can use it almost everywhere and for everything. We use it for pillows and stuff that shouldn’t be out in the rain or would suffer discoloration if it is outside in the sun 24/7. Keter is a brand we know from over seas so it wasn’t really a choice wich one we would buy.
