Amazing bang for the buck. I was able to bleed brakes on my motorcycle in minutes. As for the negative reviews on here, I am willing to put good money on the fact that they needed to be more careful during setup. This thing needs vacuum to work, which means each of your connections must be air tight. This is why they provide several different fittings for various bleed nipples. Set it up right and it's a quick, clean, and efficient process.

I picked up this kit for my motorcycle in the hope of getting enough hose to allow me to pull fluid while keeping the masters filled. It worked. It's decent quality, has plenty of fittings (though I didn't need them), and the case will hold everything together for next time. This is NOT a professional tool for everyday use, but it saved me hundreds thereby paid for itself with one use.

My vehicle brakes would not bleed the old fashioned way, so before bringing it to a mechanic I decided to buy this. The kit works as expected and had a higher quality metal body than I presumed it would be made of. I was flushing my whole system, so I needed to empty the 4 ounce canister numerous times, which can take a bit of finesse without an extra hand but definitely reasonable for an individual. I suspect that this would not be an issue if you are only bleeding the air out of the lines, in which case the canister size should suit you well.

Plastic MityVac one feels like it's about to break but this one feels more heavy duty. The cylinder is indestructible compared to the rest of this pump. It seems that they used a plastic hinge for the levers that could potentially fail but it does seem pretty rugged. When I first pumped it, it felt dry like it lacked oil so I put a few drops of my Black Gold vacuum pump oil into it and it pumped much more smoother. Gauge is accurate and it doesn't leak anywhere. Accessories are great.

i bought this to change the brake fluid in my Harley ABS system and it was so easy. I changed all the front and read the master cylinder in less than 30 min. and the dot 4 fluid was $9.99 and this tool was $19.99.you do the math. harley shop wanted $225.00 to $275.00. its a no brainer

My dealer tried to explain to me that flushing and replacing the brake fluid on my 09 ZX6R was at least a two hour job, and gave me an $181 estimate. After picking my jaw up off the floor and riding home, I found this beauty. The metal construction (as opposed to several others on amazon that are plastic) was unexpected at this price point. It comes in a case, which is another huge plus, and with several bleeding nipple fitments. I was planning on needing teflon tape to create a decent vacuum between the nipples and fitments, but one of the fitments worked perfectly on all three calipers with no tape needed. The thing held a great vacuum the entire time as well. All said and done and having never flushed and replaced brake fluid before, it took me 13 minutes for all three calipers.

Very fast shipping, and the price was great. For about $20 this is a more substantial product than you might expect. As soon as I got it, I used it to bleed the brakes on my Harley. The fittings and hoses that came with the unit fit my application fine. Yes, as others noted - the gauge was a little off...but for what I needed the vacuum pump, I didn't really need accuracy - so it's fine.

Good quality tool. Vacuum works as described and comes with the necessary attachments. My rear calipers leaked air around the bleeders because the were new, but I was still able to flush out the old fluid fine. I just couldn't tell if the bubbles were coming from the line or not, so I just sucked out a little extra. Front bleeders are old, so didn't have any problem with sucking air. My only complaint is that the collection bottle is a little small.

Nice kit comes in a nice carrying case. The quality is right up there. Was surprised to find find it could only pump down to 26i inches of vacuum. The is more than is needed for most applications. Anything requiring more than that would be better suited to an electric pump. They have made significant improvement in the kits over the years and that's always a good thing. Keep up the good work!

Bought to bleed a motorcycle hydraulic clutch, this was notably smaller, simpler and cheaper than my last vacuum pump, which finally stopped working after over 50 years (1966-2018) of service. Will this last as long? I don’t expect to find out, because it appears to be quite sturdy, maybe a grandson or granddaughter will, since none of my children or their spouses have exhibited any “handyman” tendencies. It’s simple, appears to be well-made almost wholly of metal, and comes with a good assortment of accessories and a convenient storage/carry case. What’s not to like?
