Little bit mighty

This back pack is the perfect size, light weight and waterproof. I'm 5'3" and a normal size bp is just too big to walk around town, hike, bike, or kayak with. It has a ton of room, easy to access compartments, a padded area for my iPad and electronics, & when jam packed I can still get two ware bottles in the side elastic holders. I've had this product for several months and it looks brand new. Completely sturdy. Buying one for my daughter.

High and low front straps prevent shoulder straps from sliding off shoulders

This backpack has two front straps with clasps. One goes across the lower chest and the other goes across the upper chest just below the neck. These hold the backpack securely and prevent the shoulder straps from sliding off the shoulders. It also has two side straps that snug the backpack contents. Well designed and made of lightweight but strong nylon. Very comfortable even when the backpack is carrying a couple of tablets weighing a total of five pounds. The only flaw in the backpack is that the lower front strap isn't long enough for a larger person with heavier build (35.5 inch maximum). I bought this because I needed a mini backpack for my 11 inch 2-in-1 tablet that met the airline criterion for fitting under the seat (Basic Economy doesn't allow the use of the overhead compartments).

Worked perfectly for my trips to Disneyland andItaly over the summer, this backpack can really fit a lot in it. At one time I would have multiple water bottles, my camera, a jacket, bags of snacks/chips, an umbrella, and more. It held up for the whole 3 weeks of constant wear and rarely felt uncomfortable or heavy while I spent entire days walking.

Great pack!

This backpack was perfect for my hike up Mt. Watatic! It carried my 2 water bottles on the sides and kept them secured with the straps. It held all my other stuff too. The straps were comfy. Great small pack.

This bag was perfect for a 6 day vacation to Colorado

This bag was perfect for a 6 day vacation to Colorado. I used it as my personal item for the plane (was not allowed a carry on) but it was the perfect size for it. I could keep a sweater, a book and other small items in it. I also used it while hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. the backpack has two side pockets where a regular sized water bottle or Gatorade fits. For our day hiking trip, I was able to fit 4 drinks (including side pockets), an extra pair or clothes, 2 sandwiches, a book. I was trying to pack light as we had a 5 mile hike in the snow. The backpack was very comfortable considering the amount of drinks I had. I have back issues so I was nervous buying a cheaper backpack but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of support the backpack had. I would definitely buy this brand again!

Best Small Backpack

Perfect sized backpack for day trip or short hikes. I am petite and was looking for a small lightweight backpack to carry my water bottles and some essentials and snacks during hikes and I am pleased with my purchase. It is good quality made and came in perfect condition. Zippers work smoothly. It can hold two regular sized disposable water bottles: one on each side of the bag. Its waterproof. I love the style too!!! I ordered the orange one and its a good shade, I worried it would be safety neon orange but it wasn't bright at all. I did want a color that could be seen by others when I'm in the wilderness and this works. It has a nice mesh backing that allows air to vent so I don't get hot on my back from wearing it. It is Small so be aware of that, but if that's what you are looking for then this is perfect!

Petite physical therapist review!

Love this pack! I bought this backpack to take with me on a mission trip to El Salvador. It is incredibly lightweight and portable allowing me to pack it in my luggage for my flight and pack it when I arrived. Each day we had to take anything of value with us on the bus along with any medications and money. This pack worked great for storage and the multiple pockets made it easy to retrieve whatever was needed. I now use the lack frequently when babysitting, day hiking, shopping, or spending the day on the beach. I use it regularly and have had no issues with the fabric tearing or straps. Of note: I am 4'11" and this backpack is a great fit for people of smaller stature. I am also a pediatric physical therapist and have recommended this backpack to several patients due to its size, weight, straps, and ability to position appropriately for back safety in kids, teens, and adults!

Probably not the best stuff for serious hikers but great for beginners like ...

This backpack is very light and fits a everything I need for a day hike, snacks, lunch, drinks and first aid supplies. I am not an expert in hiking gear but I would say if you need a cheap backpack that can hold your stuff for a day, this one does the job. I don't know whether is waterproof but I wouldn't expect it to be. Probably not the best stuff for serious hikers but great for beginners like me. Would definitely recommend.

Great bag for a child on the go

I can't speak about all the technical stuff or how many books can go inside. What I can say is that my 8 year old grandson loves it. He follows his dad everywhere on weekends and sometimes that means long hikes through woods. He complained of backpacks that would flop around or be so big and cumbersome on a small child that he'd end up dragging it or fiddling with it constantly. When he bent over the bag would come flying over his shoulder or fall off his arm. We began a search for a bag that we could strap down to his size - that would stop traveling when he did. This bag does that for him. His bag makes him feel "right". His bag stays on his back until he wants it to come off. It's spacious enough to carry his water bottle, change of clothes, snacks, a compass, sketch pad, pencils/crayons and even his favorite teddy bear if they are going to camp out. It is his EDC (every day carry) and he feels grownup because his bag fits him just like his dad's bag fits dad. Not to worry that he's a daddy's boy - he chose red because it's mommy's favorite color! How blessed I am to have this child for my grandson. Doesn't take much to make him happy but this bag put a big 'ole smile on his face and he loves it.
