Boastful, But Reliable, Review

This review is going to be a bit bias because I used to sell Nulo, so I can literally talk it up to anybody. BUT with that being said, this was actually the last kibble I opted for when I got my new pup two years ago. I went through multiple trial and errors with other brands (loose stool, bloat, elevated body temperature aka heavy panting, disinterest in food, etc...) and I finally picked up a bag of this stuff and I never looked back. My dog was and is always excited to eat, firm stool, no bloating, and it's just overall the best choice for her. With that being said, I've suggested it to a lot of people--different breeds, different issues--and they always came back with positive feedback. The moral of my long winded story is that if your pup is having digestive issues or you feel like your pup isn't getting the most out of their food, try Nulo. Each bag has a variation of proteins, so there's not just one set "flavor" (even if it does only notate one on the bag.)

My dogs absolutely LOVE this food. I have a dog with food allergies and the food he could eat was suddenly no longer in stock anywhere. So I then spent 4 hours searching online until I found Nulo and I am so happy I did. Not only is my food-allergy dog happy but also my two picky eaters! =]

German Shepherd's will love NULO

I have a White German Shepherd, who if she had it her way would only eat steak cooked in michelin star restaurants or eat nothing at all she is that fussy. Nulo is the 10th different dog food i have tried with her, and she loves it. End of. Thank you Nulo for feeding my dog up to a healthy weight. (I also have a lab/pitt who also loves it but she is like a garbage bin and will eat anything so not really relevant for this review)

Excellent Quality Dog Food

I have been feeding my four dogs the Nulo brand ever since it came out a few years ago. All of my dogs (rescues of various breeds) love it and it does amazing things for their coats, teeth, skin and overall health. I also have a rescue who came to me in pretty bad shape. She had a wound on her leg that hadn't been treated for 5 years(!) but after some TLC and (I believe) the excellent quality of Nulo dog food, her wound closed and has been healed up for some time now with no issues. She is also 15 years old and shows no signs of stopping. I am a firm believer in giving a higher quality dog food to my pets to avoid higher vet bills down the road. Have a 4.5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog (BMD) that's historically struggled to find the right foods. Just to name a few that we've tried: Year 1 - Blue Buffalo & Wellness Core Grain Free Year 2 - Natural Balance Sweet Potato & Fish Year 3 - Taste of the Wild - Pacific Stream Year 4 - Nulo Adult Salmon We shouldn't forget that interspersed with those foods were all manner of probiotics / enzymes / supplements... But no matter what, She'd start to get soft poops and itch incessantly. After 6 months on Nulo, I will never go back to any of the previous foods foods. NULO IS ABSOLUTELY A GAME CHANGER. Am I stoked that it's a 24lb bag, not really (Note the serving sizes are smaller so you're actually getting a similar number of meals). Am I stoked that it's $60+ a bag, not really. But hey, I'd spent soooo much more on cheaper food + Supplements + trips to Pet Dermatologist (yeah I'm one of those dog parents). All this said, I am so so so thankful to have received the recommendation to try Nulo from our local pet food store. I'm usually skeptical of folks in store giving you their opinion, especially when I'd tried Everything to make my pup's tummy handle food well and felt like I had failed, but this one has been soooooo timely. They eat the Nulo better that any other dry dog food

I have two rat terriers that are older and are picky eaters. They eat the Nulo better that any other dry dog food. The one would get a cough at different times and I would take her to the vet. I have noticed she seldom coughs and haven't taken her to the vet. Both of them there coats are softer and fuller. They don't shed much as compared to the past. It cost more than other dog foods. But quality and health have value.

Nulo Grain Free Dog Food- Salmon & Peas has made me and my Boston Terrier who has a sensitive, nervous tummy as well as grain allergies and other sensitivies which have not been identified, BOTH VERY HAPPY! He is generally fairly ambivalent about eating. He has often skipped meals or does not finish his carefully measured portion because he, in his mind has better, more exciting things to do than stand in one place long enough to finish .75 cup of kibble two times a day! Boston Terriers are famous for being "gassy" but I have always been surprised that he has never been "That Bad" when it comes to gas but often has very soft, not well formed stools. I have also, in spite of always having him on a Premium or Super Premium dog food, have added a Tablespoon of healthy oils to his kibble to help with dry itchy skin . Since starting on NULO, his skin and coat have been healthier; no itchy dry areas and have stopped drizzling fish, coconut, krill or Olive oils over his kibble yet his coat is slick and shinny. He has had virtually NO GAS & his stools have been firmer & well formed. And what may be best of all is he is eating and enjoying his new food! He seems to have more healthy energy (not nervous energy) & he is keeping a steady "trot" type gate throughout his walk without tiring. I am noticing at 5 years old he is building muscle and toning up noticibly, I am sure because of increased protein intake which he is actually metabolizing more efficiently due to the probiotics included in the food and that he is actually eating his recommended portion daily because he likes the taste! All round I have to give this a 5🌟 rating because I have only positive things to say about it. I have paid much more for foods of lesser quality so I could not be happier all round. Let me add that I also have changed my slightly portly Pug over to NULO Weight Maintenance, Cod & Chickpeas and have had similar all positive responses to this with the added benefit of about half the fat which is resulting in a slow steady weight loss. Let it be known there is a new Premium Pet Food on the market and I believe it is soon going to be one of the top sold and recommended by pet owners and veterinarians because of the quality ingredients and that each and every one has a purpose and a job to do and not just fill bellies! NULO is my dog food and I don't foresee any reason to ever sample other foods or consider changing their food. I truly don't believe its results can be beat!

Dogs LOVE this food!!

My two Bostons gobble this food!! They are the most finicky eaters. Before this food, they would pick at their food. We used so many brands. The last brand was Costco's salmon and sweet potato. They did "ok" with it. I covered it with vanilla yogurt. They would pick at it. I thought there has to be SOMETHING out there in the universe they like. Took me a year of trial and errors. Wah-la...Nulo. They actually get excited to eat too. I really should get paid for writing this review...but I'm not. I love that it's good for them and they love it!

I absolutely LOVE THIS DOG FOOD

I absolutely LOVE THIS DOG FOOD! So do my babies! (fur children) I switched them from another food which was causing unneeded bowel movements and it has been awesome. They have regular potty cycle the food looks better and have awesome equal parts protein, fruits, veggies, and fiber! PLUS NO RECALLS! It's expensive but it is so worth the health benefits and does well with my pups! EVERYONE SHOULD FEED IT TO THEIR DOGS!

Dogs Approve! No more Allergies!

Both our Schnauzer and Springer Spaniel love this flavor. For a long time we could'nt figured out why our dogs kept getting rashes. We finally figured out that it was the chicken flavor dog food from another company that was causing their allergy. We can no longer buy them anything chicken. Using the Nalu Salmon grain free kept them from having reoccuring allergies and their coat is so much softer and shinnier. They also love the flavor. Frankly I don't think we will never buy another dog food brand and will always use Nalu Salmon for future dog food brand.
