Used all winter and the only time we couldn't harvest ...
Used all winter and the only time we couldn't harvest was when the snow was too high! Spring we were eating before any of the other members of our community garden

I needed 10 x 15 foot cover but the light weight made it easy to handle and secure
I was harvesting tomatoes and basil until mid-October...in the high desert. My neighbors pulled their plants up a month ago! I just canned the last of my (stewed, whole and roasted sauce) tomatoes and chow-chow today. I needed 10 x 15 foot cover but the light weight made it easy to handle and secure. And it's still in perfect condition so I can use it again.

Saved my zucchini plant!
First photo is days after planting - two entire stems were eaten by pests. Second photo is four weeks later after being under the row cover. Highly recommend!

So far so good
I've only used a short while. Installed in Zone 7 in late August to reduce chances of veggies turning due to extreme heat / sun exposure, insects, birds. So far so good, however, I have seen a few bees buzzing about as well as a butterfly which means there are likely some bad bugs in there too even though I haven't seen any signs of them.

Plant blankets
The perfect type and amount of material for our plants. They can blow off when windy, so either cut extra to wrap at the bottom, or put little weights at the bottom.

Good row cover
Used for making covers for our potted plants to keep out aphids and other little pests. We cut the row cover into pieces to cover a frame we made from pvc pipe that fits over our planter and to cover a round cloche that goes over our potted herbs. We have been happy with the fabric we used before and this fabric seems to be a little better quality. Hopefully it will hold up for more than 1 year like our old fabric did. It also keeps the plants a little cooler when the sun is really hot.
