Great Replacement

Most of the local stores had replacement starters for at least $100.00 more than this one. I decided to try it out and have not been disappointed yet. Starts right up every time I use it.

Great value starter for twin Kholer

This fit my twin Kohler perfectly and eliminated the notorious hard start. I had replaced the battery and the starter solenoid, first. But, I've learned others have problems with the starter, too My mower is a circa 2007 Craftsman 54" deck and had starting problems after the first year or two. It now starts better than ever.

Seems to good to be true.

I was a little bit nervous buying this aftermarket starter but after receiving it this afternoon I'm quite pleased. It arrived in about 2 Days in a plane white box like you would buy something from the auto supply store. Bolted up in about 30 seconds and then we're started very well. Sounded like it may have turned over faster than what I had had from my previous starter that went bad. So far I've used it about 5 or 6 times and all of those were hot starts except for the very first. I've always had issues with my engine turning over with the old starter when it was hot and this one turned it over right away. I checked on Kohler and it would have cost me almost $200 for a new starter so I'm assuming this one could burn out four or five times and I still have my money's worth as long as it lasts at least six years total. If I remember I'll come back later and clean up the review if there's any issues.

Came in a day and a half, looks better built that the one I took off and fired the Craftsman mower right up. This is on a Kohler Courage V Twin 25(SV-730) See the pictures attached.

Great value.

Starter went out of my mower. Parts store wanted $260 and didn’t know when they could get it. This was $60 in two days. Wow! Perfect fit. Works as good if not better than original.

Great Value So Far

Starter fit like a glove and has worked great so far. Time will tell if it holds up, but even if it lasts half as long as original equipment, it's a good deal because it cost less than half what you would pay at a dealer.

Works Like a Charm

We bought this to replace the stock starter in our Cub Cadet LT1050. The stock one was shot and didn't want to start the mower. After putting this on the mower fired right up, good as new. This starter was a little longer than the original but didn't cause any issues in our cade, just be aware of that.

Works better than the original

This product is even better than the original! Quieter and starts faster with this new starter (not rebuilt). Can't say enough good things about this starter. Just looked up the replacement, found this one, ordered it (for a GREAT price--far better than buying a replacement via Sears where I ordered garden tractor 5 years ago). It showed up a couple days later, far sooner than expected and was a SNAP to install. Two bolts to hold it in and one wire connection at the bottom and I was up and running 5 minutes later. WAY HAPPY. Contacted seller to ask if they wanted the original back. They responded quickly and thanking me, said No.
