He like that the ball causes noise when he drops it ...
As soon as my 15 mo baby saw this, he lit up and started playing with it. It last a solid half hour! He like that the ball causes noise when he drops it in the hole. He struggles with the shapes still, and gets frustrated that he can't make it work right. Instead of getting upset, he sends them down the same hole the ball goes in. He knew exactly what to do with the screwdriver and wrench though his dexterity isn't quite good enough to turn them correctly yet. He's obviously been watching Daddy! He prefers to take the tray out and just reach in to grab the shapes that drop in, but he will try to put the tray in and out by itself. He also loves the sound of the saw and will hold it down and mimic the sound.

Could be the best learning toy?
Wow. Like other reviewers, one of the best toys we've bought. Still going strong after two boys, and their cousins playing with it for 2+ years. Sure, it maybe mispronounces some words (Engrish) but this no doubt started my oldest on his little engineering kick he has been on for a while now. He is OBSESSED with tools. It doesn't help that Daddy has a big, shiny, Snap-on tool box with $15K worth of tools in the garage...now he wants to see what all of them do. Picture a 3 year old running around your house with a Makita bit driver (Makita LXDT06 3-Speed Impact Driver) , looking for furniture to disassemble...terrifying... But when they play with this toy, you can literally watch the little gears turn in their head. We have gotten hours of enjoyment out of it and a few minutes of frustration after sticking things down the pipe that don't belong there. I will get BTFO by the SJW's but this is the perfect toy for my boys.

Love it overall
My son loves this. He is 1 year old and he dances when the music comes on. He loves the little saw and the screw driver too. It talks with a British accent so that is sort of funny, but it is great overall. I wish that the drawer didn't come all the way out but that is the only problem with it.

My kids love this toy
My kids love this toy. I don't know what it is about it, but they love it. My youngest is a screamer. When you get him in the car, he cannot (could not) be consoled. No snacks nothing will help. But, he'll play with this toy for about fifteen minutes before he starts going crazy again. At home my two kids fight over it.

Great fun!
I bought this for my 21 month old for Christmas, but my 5 year old loves it just as much! There are enough tools they can play together with it! My favorite part is they can screw the screws, but they don’t actually come out- so we’re not missing parts all the time!

This is a great first workbench!
My grandson loves this and returns to it frequently. He is 15 months old and has mastered the easier skills (the saw, the drill, the slide over the numbers, and pushing the shapes through their holes if I put them in place), but there are other skills he has to look forward to (placing the shapes himself, using the hand tools, and pretending he is using a workbench). This toy also has a great variety of sounds and songs which are no too annoying to the adult ear. This is a great first workbench.

Fun at 7 months
This is a great toy! It's well made and my daughter loves it. At 7 months I thought it might be a bit of a developmental stretch, but she responded to the colors and sounds right away, and started working the saw and drill within 3-4 play sessions. She mostly does that and chews on the tools for now, but she can also pull out the drawer and dump the contents, which is apparently a lot of fun. She'll grow into the other features in time, so I see this as a long-lived item as baby toys go.

Durable
My daughter is turning 11 months at the end of this month and she loves this toy. She doesn’t really play with any real toys but she likes the music and different noises it makes. She carries it around and drops it throws it and honestly I haven’t seen a scratch on the thing. She’ll be able to play with for a very long time.

I think this is my most favorite toy I've ever bought for any of my kids
I think this is my most favorite toy I've ever bought for any of my kids. It has so much to do on it, perfect for my 1 yr old. My 3 and 5 year olds would also steal it from him and play with it. Would highly recommend.

Entertaining
This is such a cute toy! My 19 month old loves it and he loves trying to use the "tools" elsewhere around the house. It's a little expensive for what it has but overall it's a fun toy that keeps him pretty entertained. And the shapes are big enough to where he cant choke on them. Always a plus! And I think my husband likes playing with it too lol.... so any toy daddy and son can play together is a real winner.
