I recently tried the Amour line and immediately fell in love with these hooks. They are so comfortable to use and the yarn glides over them. I was nervous about this one, since the larger hooks are plastic and not metal. It works just as well as the metal hooks and it is super light. I have been making many scarves with this hook and I am super happy with it!

I've been crocheting for 3 years. I've tried from the inexpensive hooks, Boye, Susan Bates, to the middle range Crochet Guy, to the more expensive Addi, passing through bamboo, rosewood, and other sophisticated wooden hooks. Nothing compares to the easiness of crocheting with Clover Amour hooks. For about a year I been using exclusively the Amour aluminum hooks in the only available sizes they had, No. 2.25 to No. 6 being the largest. When I saw they now had sizes 6.5 to 10 for thicker yarns I wanted to try one first before purchasing a set. I made the decision to buy the elusive, in the US market, No. 7. I was not sure what to expect because the hook was made of plastic instead of its aluminum smaller counterparts, but I was not disappointed, in fact, a week later I ordered sizes 6.5, 8, 9 and 10. To me, the Amour hooks are the most comfortable, smooth, perfect shaped hooks in the market. I only crochet with yarn so I have not tried the smaller steel Amour hooks.

I haven't crocheted for that long...I have much to learn. I thought I was a really bad crocheter, turns out I had bad tools! These things are amazing! So smooth. It just glides through the yarn...ANY yarn. I have renewed enthusiasm and I will only use this type hook.

I’ve only been crocheting a couple years and so I don’t have much experience with many brands or the many different hooks they have out there. I had tried the plain aluminum hooks at first, which are too small and uncomfortable for me but the Clover hooks have been amazing and are very comfortable to hold and easy to use. They seem to go very smoothly. I’ve only worked with a few sizes so far but from the ones I have used I highly recommend these hooks!!!! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine🙂

I purchased the 0.60 size and it is fantastic! Very sturdy, and easy to use. Perfect for dreading hair! Highly recommended.

I've been replacing all my hooks with the ergonomic styled ones. Even though I have no hand issues, these are WAY more comfy than the old styles. This one is by far the best style of them I think. I've bought the other clover style https://www.amazon.com/Clover-Touch-5-0-mm-Crochet-Hooks/dp/B000QHF90I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1477491874&sr=8-3&keywords=clover+crochet+hooks+soft+touch I like this one much more. Don't even notice I'm crocheting, my hands don't get tired as quickly. Highly recommend.

I have 4 other 8mm L hooks and this one is by far the best. It is lightweight, smooth and perfectly pointy for all projects. Im using with a double strand worsted weight and some hooks spilt the double strand, but this one does not. I couple metal hooks i have are super heavy and it is hard on my hards to crochet thick yarn and tight stitches. Im throwing out all of my other 8mm hooks. This is lightweight and awesome. Buy it is you like light hooks and need a big 8mm. Lightweight is definitely key when using heavy/thick yarn. Buy it, you wont be disappointed. Take it from someone who crochets for hours everyday to keep up with my etsy store orders.

Love it! Had read so many good things about these hooks. Thought I'd better try with just one before purchasing an entire set. You do need to watch the mm rather than the size rating, but that's true even moving between Boyd & Susan Bates & other brands anyway. I always go by mm. With my #20 crochet cotton, I'm making a lovely tablecloth, and it does not drop loops like my previous hook and GOES THROUGH ALL THE LOOPS ON THE HOOK IN ONE PASS almost every single try. So smooth and so easy to use.

I searched for quite some time for an ergonomic, tendonitis friendly hook that fit me. I finally found the perfect one for me. I hold my hook like a knife as some say. The neck of the hook is not too short (just right) and the handle fits in my hand nicely. It is not too bulky or cumbersome. I will be investing in a whole set. My only complaint is that they don't make them in K, L, & M! Don't hesitate on getting this. You won't be sorry! :)

What a great find! This hook was very easy to use and it was very comfortable to use. I'd like an entire set of these! It's a lightweight hood that slips easily so you can crochet fast. My favorite so far. Glad I found this one! The handle is not too short, the hook end is not too short, it's pretty near perfect.
