had to replace my kitchen frig got this danby here on amazon,love it.can reconfigure shelf racks.this frig is nice quite.freezer freezes pretty quickly.did not need a 20 square foot frig just two folks living in the house and i have a small chest freezer out side in my shed.i have owned this danby for one an a half years now and no problem with it.may add electric bills also less.i would buy another one should i need one.great price good looking machine i would says it is five star all around.

This red fridge is SO beautiful inside and out. I like that the glass shelves are easy to see through, even the crisper drawer can be seen through so i am more likely to remeber whats in there. The black interior is super nice, i have no trouble seeing the items inside the fridge. The door panel is not quite as versatile as i would wish, only short items can fit. Even the bottom shelf on the door which can hold gallon jugs is not as versatile as i would wish, i can not put tall bulky items there or the door wont close unless i move shelves to different heights. However i still LOVE this fridge and so i will make it work. For years i have wondered why every fridge in existence is always white on the inside.... i hate seeing white everywhere. Thanks Danby for daring to be different and producing a red and black fridge. Now if only they made a standup freezer in the same color sceme. I was planning to paint a giant NukaCola emblem on the fridge but seeing it now, is so pleasing to the eye, i feel it needs no further embellishment. It also arrived on time and was well taken care of during shipment. Update 5/2018. I totaly HATE the way this fridge handles its drainage. If anything at all, food or containers touch a side wall or back wall.... water will drip and condence all over the food and packaging. This sux!!! The fridge is small to begin with, it becomes much smaller indeed when i cant let anything touch the walls. I want to change my rating to 2. But i have never bought a fridge without a freezer before, and perhaps thats just how freezerless fridges are supposed to be. Idk. On the plus side, its quiet, the crisper drawer works great and it keeps temp nice and even without cold or hot spots.

I like the fridge lay out

I like the fridge lay out, size, shelving, everything is great, exept it didn't work. Amazon and Danby where very helpful in getting a replacement sent. Had the replacement fridge about a month. Love Love Love this refrigerator. It fits in a 24 inch opening, and the doors were easy to reverse. It has clever door holders that can hold a two liter of pop, large side condiments, and adjustable shelves in the fridge. In the freezer, it has one shelf, non adjustable, and two narrow shelves on the door, which work out great. It has a separate control for the top and the bottom, which I like too. Legs adjusted easily to the floor, it was just perfect for my 5th Wheel. Could not be happier.

Good deal

Awesome! Perfect for our rv running on solar. Same size outside than the propane unit. Huge on this inside comparatively. Every thing is much colder, and freezes exponitially faster. Froze solid four 2 liter bottles filled with water for our cooler in just over an hour.

Now working but need Danby assistance on door seal.

Update - 10 months of use. Awesome refrigerstor. Works perfect in ny air conditioned garage. Takes up very little room but holds alot of beverages. It keeps beverages at 38 degrees easily. I added 3 cases of sodas and within 8 hours were 38 degrees COLD. The GOOD - The DAR110A2LDB appears to be awesome. It was very easy to switch the direction the door opens. It also is the perfect size and looks very kewl. Was surprised on solid glass shelving. Nice! Looks roomy. I am very impressed. At 24 hours run time the refrigeretor was @ 52 degrees The Bad - The refrigeretor has been running 48 hours in a 78 degree garage. Nothing has been put inside the refrigerator. (I am am reluctant to load it with drinks if 52 degrees is as good as it gets) I have a thermometer that was in the old refrigerator. It was calibrated in my kitchen refrigerator. It reads 39 degrees in my kitchen refrigerator. . The Ugly - The thermostats dial had been turned almost to max. Temperature had increased to 55 degrees last night around 700PM. This morning the temperature is almost 70. The accumulated ice on the back inside panel is melting and water is overflowing onto the garage floor. The fan is NOT currently running. The outside temp is 80 degrees with 78% humidity. Garage is 79 degrees. I am going to keep my old refrigerator that too big for my garage. But it works, unlike the DANBY ***** UPDATE - The refrigerator is now working. Danby responded within hours and was very apologetic. Offered replacement or refund. Also suggest I unplug and plug to reset. (Not in instructions) Read that refrigerators needed to have stuff in it to cool properly. (Not in instructions) I swapped the door opening side as soon as I unpacked. Was very simple and easy. The gasket seal seemed to by sealing properly. But it wasn't. I put a flashlight inside and closed the door. Light was coming through the seal in 8--9 places. (This explained the excessive humidity). I tried to adjust the door to frame but was unsuccessful. It seems the the mounting holes in the left side are drilled maybe 1/8" off. The nuts part of the bottom bracket. So I swap the door hinges back to original configurations and the seal fits perfect. I filled the refrigerator with drinks last night and today at about 1:00PM the drinks were a cold 41 degrees. Still need to swapped the hinges to the left to work in my garage space. I think Danby will resolve the problem with the door seal hopefully by an updated design or work around for the hinge.

Nice refrigerator but was not protected against damage well enough from the factory.

It arrived with a dent in its side and condensate tray broken. Reversing the direction that the door opens was not particularly easy due to design and the directions contained an error. But it operates fine and is a handsome little appliance. I use it as a second refrigerator for soda, etc. The freezer is around 0 degrees and since it is not auto defrost keeps extra ice cream and the like always at the right temp. Fortunately the dent doesn't show as it is hidden by a cabinet and I was able to repair the condensate tray, but that in no way makes me happy as to the way it was shipped. I like Danby appliances for limited spaces, but I would suggest buying them where you can see what you're getting before taking delivery.

Perfect small refrigerator

I no longer need a huge refrigerator. The one I had was always half empty, wasting energy and space in my kitchen. When we remodeled the kitchen the design required a much smaller refrigerator. This filled the space beautifully. The only negative about it is that the crisper drawer handle is at the bottom. It may make sliding the drawer more efficient, but it requires that I reach almost to the floor.

Small Fridge but just what I needed

Our Danby refrigerator arrived on time and id good condition. One of the plastic door shelves was cracked. I contacted the company and rec'd a reply the same day. A company representative stated that they would contact their supplier and would ship me a replacement shelf. I have not yet rec'd the replacement but will update this review when it arrives. The fridge is as advertised and I am happy with it. For us it serves as a backup in our pantry. It would not be large enough if it were our only fridge but as a back up it is great. The size is large enough to add significant space. The overall size is just right to fit into the pantry. I am happy with the product and would recommend it. Update: 4.30.18- Today I rec'd my replacement door shelf. The company representatives were polite and continued to check on the issue. I am not sure where the hold up was but I am satisfied with the resolution of the broken shelf and continue to find my refrigerator more than satisfactory.

Great buy

Better looking in person. Tons of room and configurations. I keep it in the garage and even had to turn up the thermostat during our south Texas summer because it was freezing the drinks. Works great and looks even better.

Love It!

Great fridge, delivered promptly and with no problems and we simply love it. Working great so far in a small efficiency apartment!
