Living with five guys, we go through a lot of trash and are pretty haphazard on packing the bin till it's stuffed, thankfully, these bags are super sturdy. We've been using these bags for the past three years and I've never had one rip on me even after stuffing it beyond capacity (of normal kitchen garbage). I am sold and will forever hold a commitment to this particular product unless there is a change.

Definitely stronger and more tear resistant than some trash bags I have used. Strong enough for most household trash. Not as sturdy as some bags for yard waste, and definitely not as strong as the 45 gallon and 55 gallon "contractor" trash bags, so expect damage if you stuff the bag with sticks or put in a bunch of big nails and then stuff the bag. But not going to split open if you throw a few staples or chicken bones in. Not going to break open if Junior drags the bag as he takes it out to the trash can. You can fill the bag full enough that you need to tug on the ties to get it to close and it will probably stretch enough to get it tied so that nothing falls out. I have done this several times with no problems, but of course it depends on what is in the bag. Do not fill it to the brim with bricks or rocks or anything else that is not compressible and expect to pull it closed with no problems. This bag is not magic. It is just a very well designed and made trash bag.

These are my go to kitchen trash bags. I have been using them for years and they have always been dependable and sturdy. I can count on them to hold up to heavy things thrown in them, like cat litter, or odd shaped items and they will stretch more than many bags before any holes occur in the bag. I have had them so heavy, I had to drag them and they held up fine. I have had liquid in them and they have done well. They fit perfectly in my trash can and the draw string holds tight and works well for me to hold on to when carrying out. They seem to have more pull to them before they rip and tear which is what I have had major problems with in my garbage bags in the past. I will continue to buy these as long as I can. They are excellent in my opinion.

These are strong and do not leak. They hold a lot. For some reason my household produces a great amount of trash and these work great to handle that. I love that they have ties you pull and can tie up the garbage in the bag and put it in the big trashcan that goes out to the street. Sometimes I find they can be hard to pull out of the trashcan usually when really heavy. I try to watch the weight to avoid this issue which is just minor. I do not like the kind with twist ties since they do not hold and then your trash is exposed or falls out. Does a great job corralling your trash. Do not have a chemical smell or feel oily. I actually used trashbags once that felt oily that made me wonder.

These bags are very well made and very resilient and tough. They are better than what I buy at Costco, albeit slightly more expensive per bag. I appreciate the convenience of having this delivered as it is not all that exciting buying trash bags. I think I will repeat purchase this.

I have these Tall Kitchen Bags on the subscription plan so that I never run out. Was so glad to find them under such a plan as I use a minimum of 1 per day and therefore don't have to worry about running out. I would sometimes forget to get them from the grocery list which also meant running out, no problem of that anymore. Love the bags, they are strong and the ties actually work and don't pull out of the bag as I've had other brands do. If you want a decent, 13-gallon, tie bag this is the one to get. Have never had any problems with them in the 15+ years I have been using them. Would highly recommend them (and have done so) for others needing the same size bags.

Sturdy kitchen garbage bags. Not much to say about it. It's purpose, as well as how to use it is pretty obvious & self-explanatory. In any case, it seems to be a pretty sturdy garbage bag. I've stuffed a few corrugated cardboard shipping boxes (ya know, like the kind that Amazon ships your orders in) into this bag without it tearing. Personally, I use these bags for kitchen trash (egg shells, orange/lemon/lime peels, coffee grounds, etc.) and I use Costco's clear 30 gallon bags for recyclable items since they tend to be larger/need more space. All in all, seems to be a great product! ★☆★☆★ 5 STARS!!!!

Hand delivered by USPS, a very nice way to receive a product. Safeway's Pantry Essentials, Tall Kitchen bags 125 count, which is now a Value Brand, is what I have purchased before. This Glad bag is textured at the top, has a gray drawstring and fits nicely without waste. Thank you to the mailman and Amazon. I would buy it again!

wow i got this cheap on amazon & i think w/ my prime delivery (so free/fast). i still have many bags left and i've had this since way b4 christmas. we change bags a lot as we hang them up in the utility room. the drawstring is strong & the bags never break no matter what kind of heaviness you put therein. will buy again & again.

I'm a big fan of the Glad kitchen bags. They may not be the most top of the line of the Glad products, but they're perfect for my everyday use. Glass and other sharp edges will puncture the bags, and you can't overstuff them like the stretch bags. But they do hold heavy waste with no issues. I empty my kitchen garbage every few days after I clean out the (automatic) litter box waste drawer, so it never gets overfull, but it doesn't get heavy-ish. No waste, not even dirty cat litter, escapes the bag. And on days I empty the whole litter box, the only problem I have taking that bag of many pounds of cat litter out the street can, is lifting it up high enough to toss it into the (way too tall) street can. I never worry about these Glad bags bursting or breaking. (There's another version of these bags, scented with Febreeze. Avoid those. They stink to high heaven in a cloying gross way. Unscented is the way to go.)
