great if you have MTHFR gene mutation

These prenatals are amazing. I have the MTHFR gene mutation and these are one of the only prenatals I can take that actually work with my body. After having a miscarriage due to the gene mutation I decided to start taking these to help me get pregnant again. I have noticed an increase in libido and energy since using these.

Reformulated but still just as great

I've saw some other reviews stating these are fake because of the color change. Throne has recently reformulated these, and they new ones are grey in color instead of the usual pale pinkish color. It's basically the same thing, but some doses of a few components have slightly increased. You can check the thorne website for a comapairson of the new formula.

I have been blessed with a beautiful healthy daughter

Worked for me. I have been blessed with a beautiful healthy daughter. I did find the really hard to swallow during pregnancy but maybe i was having some aversion to the taste. I kept taking them while breastfeeding and had no problem swallowing them.

Great quality but takes getting used to

I take this prenatal along with the omega 3 from Thorne. The dosage says 3 a day but i take one along with breakfast lunch and dinner. It makes me feel like i am absorbing as much as possible while not shocking my stomach. The first few weeks i experienced a little uneasy stomach along with difficulty going #2 (sorry tmi). But my body definitely got used to it. I'm not sure if it is just the vitamins or pregnancy in general to blame for the changes. Many women will regardless go through weird changes with their body but it is worth sticking to this vitamin regimen to make sure your baby gets all the nutrients they need.

I have the MHTFR mutation so I'm glad this has Folate and not Folic Acid

Finally found a high quality prenatal! My Dr. muscle tested me for this and its the first one she said my body would be able to use and assimilate. It is capsule form not tablets - watch out for tablets they are harder for the body to assimilate. I have the MHTFR mutation so I'm glad this has Folate and not Folic Acid.

Great Product

I needed a vitamin that had Folate in it instead of synthetic Folic Acid since I have MTHFR. I researched this product and decided to try it. It doesn't make me sick like other vitamins and I feel wonderful since I have been taking it. I would recommend this product. It's wonderful!!!

Best combo of price and quality for a prenatal vitamin with active folate

This is an excellent prenatal vitamin that is decently priced. No GI upset or constipation. It doesn't have a strange smell or taste like some other multivitamins. And I feel good knowing that it provides active forms of folate - this is really hard to find at a good price! I've re-ordered these through the Thorne website because they are sold out on Amazon and they have free shipping.

Quality

You can expect quality from a great brand like Thorne. I wasn't taking prenatal vitamins before I became pregnant and I started taking these towards the end of my 1st trimester. It helped with the morning sickness....aka all day sickness! And also they don't make you feel sick or nauseous like some other brands. I do take it with food and they are fairly small (again, compated to other brands). I wasn't looking great before...I had developed acne and actually my hair was falling out! But I did get that glow everyone is talking about and my acne is at bay. I can't confirm whethet or not these vitamins did that but I believe they helped.

Definitely Recommend

These were recommended to me by a coworker when I discussed TTC. I started taking them and very quickly found out I was pregnant. They are not my favorite in taste by any means, but they seem to be providing all of the nutrients I need. My OB did suggest I also take DHA, so I pair these with Oceans Mom Prenatal DHA.

the best prenatal!

great great prenatal. we truly believe this helped my wife get pregnant. my wife tried several different kinds of prenatal and most made her sick (we could only take it at night) and 2 miscarriages and a failed IVF later - we got pregnant naturally taking this upfront and the baby is extremely healthy (my wife is 5 months pregnant) and we feel very strongly this was has plaid a major factor in both (getting pregnant and being pregnant).
