Good clock radio and not bright so I can sleep!

Great little clock and doesn't light up the room with a "back-light"! I bought one with a back-light and couldn't sleep well. Blue light affects the body! Antenna is a little weird as I've used clock radios in the past that didn't have an antenna and radio worked well. I don't want any wi-Fi electronics like an iPhone as a clock at night as they disrupt and interfere with the body's energy sleeping mode. Yes, it's Physics and we are made up of energy and the body is affected by bad energy. Bad EMF! Wifi is bad, old school clocks like this solve the problem.

Love this little clock radio!

I've had a clock radio for years and years that I really hated and don't know why I didn't get rid of it sooner. This one is great - has only the features needed, not a lot of other stuff to clutter it up. I like that it has 3 levels to adjust the brightness - have mine set on the lowest. That was one of the things I disliked about my old one - it was so bright (even on the low setting) that when I got up in the middle of the night it was blinding. Can't attest to the sound quality because I don't play it - just use it as a wake-up feature and then turn it off right away. It was easy to set up and the size is great - doesn't take up much room on my nightstand. Well worth the price paid.

I have not had any issues with this clock. There is a regular plug as well as a compartment for a battery in the event the power goes out, it keeps the memory. I put batteries in the back when I first received this and to my luck, the power has gone out a few times and no issues with having to reset the clock when the power comes back on. I just ordered a 2nd one for the other bedroom in the house and it works just as well. I might be ordering one more to put in my sons room soon. This will be our go to clock when we need extra alarm clocks in the house. I just wish the black one has a green display, but that’s a personal wish, not on the company. Great clock, would recommend it to anyone and you can’t beat the price. *I hope my review was helpful for you!

It is perfect for me

This alarm clock radio replaced one I've had for over 25 years. It is perfect for me .dual alarm,doesn't need to be reset every day and especialy the dimmer that has 3 settings that can be adjusted by pushing one button. If it lasts 25 years that would be awesome. I don't think you can go wrong buying it.

Music Soothes the Savage Beast

The radio was delivered quickly after ordering. I purchased this because I have a foster cat that has to be in isolation for awhile. He is bored silly sitting there by himself so I thought a little music would help ease his stress and anxiety. The radio is compact in size and perfectly sits on the shelf in the room. It was easy to set up and dial in the perfect radio station. Sound and reception is good. I leave the radio on 24 hours a day and my foster cat is one happy camper. After he is adopted, the radio can be conveniently moved to another room as needed.

After trying two other alarm clocks, we're happy with this one (as a couple). This clock's red display preserves soothing darkness in the bedroom, unlike clocks with blue displays that radiate annoying light. And the soft musical alarm wakes the husband on time but allows the wife to sleep until her scary-loud alarm goes off. Recommended, especially for couples with different schedules and darkness preferences.

Excellent little clock!

This alarm clock has been completely re-engineered and replaces the older model. Now, when you order this clock you will receive an EXCELLENT little alarm clock! It's easier to navigate than the original design and offers several different alarm styles and volumes and even lets you adjust the brightness of the led lights. The overall size is perfect and fits easily onto smaller night stands without being a nuisance. The actual build quality is very sturdy so if you travel it won't break from being tossed around or accidentally dropped. It also has a battery back-up which is a life saver for me since our power tends to go out fairly frequently during the winter. I have to mention how thoroughly impressed I am with the Electrohome company and their customer service to. They definitely care about their customers and actually value their honest feedback. I will gladly recommend Electrohome and their products to anyone, anytime. :-)

Alarm clock radio works perfectly

Finally found an excellent replacement for my now-deceased 25-year-old unit! The Magnasonic keeps time perfectly and the alarm works well. My 2 key AM stations come in crystal clear with wire antenna extended. I highly recommend this unit.

Small and compact; love the alarm

I love that it is white; it is small and compact; easy to program. Fits perfectly on my small nightstand. The alarm is awesome; it starts off beeping very quietly and slowly gets louder; the snooze button is right on top, easy to reach. I would definitely buy this little clock again. I love the quiet beep because it doesn't wake my husband, unless I let it go louder. It also has battery backup, which is good because we lose our power quite often, and it keeps its settings. And you can adjust the display from bright to dim; I use the dim and it's just right for me; doesn't keep me awake like other clocks. Definitely recommend it.

Worth the price

Arrived on time. Simple clock radio with a large enough face to see the time from across the room. Alarms come in several settings. I like the increasing loudness that comes with the bell alarm so I can shut it off before the rest of the family hears my alarm. I do not use it for a radio. Reception is weak though. AM radio comes in clear and certain local FM stations. I liked this alarm enough that I ordered a second one for my teenage daughter who now gets up on her own without me dragging her out of bed. This alarm clock radio was priced appropriately, shipped quickly and functions well in my home so I would recommend it to others.
