These are best filter to run for your dmax on stock fuel system. The aftermarket filter are tighter but you shouldnt run them long maybe one oil change. These most people push out 2-3 oil changes. You dont want to starve that cp4 pump. I run filter mags on my fuel filter there is definitely iron in diesel from station pump and manufacturing, I had black iron on filter walls after cutting with filter cutter. The outside is rough filter inside is very tight micron filter. Outside was dirty, inside was pretty much clean. Seems not much is getting past inside filter unless it's very small to get stuck. I think these filters are bit expensive but you gotta pay to play in diesel world. You buy diesel and think you will have Camry upkeep you need to get yourself checked out.

I have checked several brand name auto part stores and the cheapest was $47.00 didn't dare check the GMC dealership they are always marked up. It was delivered right on time , it had the replacement O ring, perfect condition and it fit perfectly.....I'll be back

Great filter fits my 2015 chevy 2500 duramax diesel perfect. Easy change.the top gasket is a little tricky but i hold it on with permatex gasket sealer a little before i install it but thats just me .its not necessary if u have patient's..... hope this helps

This filter is made for my truck. Others seem to have gone to a plastic shell. I've tried the plastic body filters and had difficulty with air leaking into the fuel system. I'll just stick with the ACDelco. If it's good enough for OEM, it is good enough for me.

perfect, this is the new upgrade model, old is TP 3012

I was hesitant when purchasing this product that it was going to Original Equipment but it was. I came with 2 o-rings, one for the top to seal the filter to the housing and one for the bottom to seal the drain plug. I would recommend this product from this vendor. I think i will purchase another one at this price to have it on hand when i need to replace the filter again.

The price on this was phenomenal! I just had to get it because it was an OEM part. It's a bitch getting it in and out without removing the whole fender well. I ordered the access door off of another website. When it's time to change it again, it should be a snap.

TP3018 is the right filter for any Duramax truck and supercedes the TP3012. Quality filter built by Racor and at 4 microns, not too bad of a rating especially with my AirDog 165-4G installed with Donaldson filters before it. Protect your CP4.2 LML guys!

I thought the Cat filter was the best around because I listened to other people without doing research myself. I have recently discovered that Cat 1R0750 filters 98% efficiency @4 micron, Baldwin BF9882 filters 99.85% @4 micron and AC Delco TP3018 filters 99.9% @4 micron. I'm sticking with AC Delco.

Instead of using a simple screw on filter, this is GM's idea of a better idea and then charge 10 times the price of a normal filter. Then they tuck it under the battery and a cross member to make it easier to change. The filter is a fine replacement for the truck, I am just complaining about the design.
