I had some trouble burping the bag, even with help from my lovely assistant. We were bringing the liquid up to the top, over the sink and capping it as soon as the liquid was spilling over. Even with me squeezing and keeping positive pressure of forcing the delicious rum, oops, I mean, fluids, out of the top as she screwed the cap on tight, it always had some bubbles in it after we released it. Granted it was squished and kinda like a vacuum sealed pouch, but still somehow got bubbles in. Anyways, long story short, it worked. We got 50oz of Malibu and 32oz of Rumchatta onboard the cruise ship with zero issues. I was finding that ANYONE that had a bottle of anything, in the check in bags, got checked. All of our bottles, including sun tan and meds, was in our carry on backpacks. So that left only the three flask all alone with clothing in the suitcases. If we are gonna get caught, we will get caught. We didnt!!!!! As per other recommendations, we double bagged the three flask, and hid them within clothing. No leaks to report. I think the main thing to help success is to not put ANY bottle shaped items in the checked bags. Thats what the machines and people are looking for. They are searching 12000+ bags within 5 hours.... they dont have time to nit pick, so dont invite failure by putting a legit bottle of sunscreen or wine or bottles water IN YOUR CHECKED IN BAGS. Just clothing and hooch :-)

Awesome!!! I used 3 32 oz. bags to get 3 5ths of liquor on board 7 day cruise. The only alcohol purchased was 1 bucket of beer... I used the smaller ones on port days! Definitely a must have for cruising and I look forward to using them for sporting events too!

Got all of our alcohol through! Something I want to put at the top of this review is that we met a couple who attempted to smuggle theirs on last June and were caught. They were charged for 2 alcohol packages, and 2 soda packages (2 adults in the room, 2 children) From reviews I’ve read and research I thought that the consequence for getting caught was they would just throw them away. Not force you to get the alcohol package. Knowing this idk if I would do it again, because that $900 would have been a huge surprise and I would have felt awful if the girls in my room were all charged. (We had 3 in our room, only me and one roommate attempted to sneak the alcohol on) so just keep this in mind that I guess it’s a possibility! Carnival left from Galveston March 2019 How we did it - Filled the flasks to recommendations, meaning not all the way full and made sure there were no bubbles and made sure the lid was sealed. When packing them away I wrapped them one per grocery bag. You really can’t be too safe. I was not about to smell like rum my whole cruise lol Then I rolled them in some of my clothes that I wasn’t really going to wear, jeans, large sleep shirts stuff like that NEXT and I think this really helped seal the deal, I got some large vacuum seal bags from tj max (I’m sure you can find them on here) and I packed those clothes in the vacuum sealed bag. My bags did not require a vacuum, just think super large ziplock bag, but at the bottom it would let air out not in, so I just pressed all the air out. Then I put this bag of clothes on the bottom of my suitcase under my closet caddy that I packed all my clothes in. “Buckled” it all in and then another thing that could have helped, I made sure to put visible liquids on top. So when they saw liquid detected they would open and throw away my protein shakes. But they didn’t even throw those away! We were the last group to board and I think that might have helped because they maybe were rushing. I also have a hard shell type suitcase. Hope this review was helpful! I know when I was reading reviews I really loved the thorough ones!

This got through security with no issues. Holds a lot more than expected, zero leaking. I didn't get a funnel but that seems like it might be messy. I first poured the alcohol into one of those restaurant ketchup/mustard containers I bought (empty) from the Dollar Tree for $1 that had a long "spout" - this made it super easy to put alcohol in from that.

I just came back from a 7day Carnival Cruise and I only took 2 of the 32oz and 2 16oz bc I was nervous that they wouldn’t make it threw. I was very excited to receive my bags in my room with ALL of my hidden flasks. These worked perfectly and we saved hundreds of $$ bringing our own liquor. I filled them up 85-90% squeezed out the excess air and put the caps on tightly and then put them in ziploc bags for extra protection in case of leaks. They DID NOT LEAK!! I wrapped 2 in towels and 2 I put in my husbands shoes packed in the suitcase. They seem to be very durable and thick. The only downside I see will be cleaning them. But they worked for what I needed them for and I now know I won’t be spending my money on OVER PRICED cruise drinks ever again! Don’t sleep on these, this is what you NEED!

The plan is simple, dont overfill them, squeeze out any air as you seal it, spread them out in your luggage, It'll work. You can pack two things in your bags for a cruise - 1. Machete 2. Bottle of booze When you get to room, the booze will be missing. Every time. While that may not be entirely accurate, the primary focus of luggage scanning is for booze, insurance covers the rest but not alcohol profits. Two person exercise - Fill the bags so they are not engorged ticks, twist the cap partially on, then have helper slowly squeeze upright bag so air is escaping the loose lid. One hand on the lid, twist it tight as booze starts to leak from it..Viola, air free bag. Pack them in separate areas of your bags. Pro tip - Your luggage is most likely going to be on its widest back or face going through the scanners... put the flasks in your luggage so that when the bag is on its face or back the smallest profile possible of the flask is exposed. Much greater chance of success.

I don't often write reviews (considering how often I use amazon) but if I could give this product 10 stars, I would. Best $14 I ever spent in my life. Was able to get 5 bottles of liquor onto my cruise last week (Norwegian). When we got into port, brought them off the ship, refilled them, and got 3 more bottles onto the boat as well. Just shove them in the pocket of your cargo shorts, and walk back on. These things do not leak at all, even after the initial seal is broken after the first use. I truly cannot recommend these enough to anybody going on a cruise who doesn't want to get stuck paying for $12 drinks all day. Sure, enjoy a few nice frozen drinks at the pool, spend some money on board, but its nice to have some liquor back in the cabin to make cocktails. I brought these and a few packets of ice tea/lemondade/crystal light to mix, and we were all set. Highly recommended. 10 stars if I could give them.

Had no problems it worked like a charm. Don't fill them all the way up, so it may be better to use the larger sizes ones. Put 16oz in the 32oz you want to avoid spilling. I put them in a plastic bag and put them in a purse in the bottom of our suit case.

Like many others here I was very skeptical of the flasks as there are some negative reviews explaining people getting caught. I'm a very unlucky person so I was sure I would get caught. We packed 4 bags between 3 suitcases. Following the instructions, we carefully filled 80% full and meticulously made sure there was absolutely no air in each bag. After we got to our stateroom we anxiously awaited the bags and were so happy when we had the liquor inside. We saved a TON of money. We even managed to use them again to buy a bottle on the island stop and bring some more liquor onboard. I highly recommmend this product and will use again.

I was very skeptical at first about buying these but I didnt want to spend a fortune on drinks on the ship nor buy the expensive drink package. So I tried it...I put all of the bags in my suitcase under my toiletries and it worked!! I still bought a few drinks and added my own liquor to it bc their drinks are watered down.
