Very stable.

I purchased this Greenco Foldable Step Stool after I made a mess of my last step stool. What happened was I had a black step stool in my bathroom to help me climb into our tub. I am a bit of a shortie and that tub is a garden tub way up off the ground. Anyway I really needed that step stool to be white to match the trim in the bathroom so I purchased some spray paint and tried spraying it white. That was a big mistake. I apparently don't know what I am doing because it turned into a big runny mess. It was just awful. So after that I had to have another step stool so I perused through Amazon to see what I could find. I decided on this one and when it arrived it was the perfect size that I needed. I do wish it was a little wider though but as long as I have a stool I am satisfied. The top measures in at 11.5"L x 8.25"W and the base is 13"L x 10.5"W. The height is about 10.75". There are rubber dots on top for extra security. One of my dots has already come out but the rest are still attached. This stool folds up nicely as well.

Works like a champ

Bought this for my kids to reach countertops in kitchen. Additional 2" of height above the 9" standard stools is key. Works as expected. As some have noted - be careful of pinch points, especially with little kids who might find their fingers stuck + not able to get out. Sufficient warning + watching/helping is useful, but yes - there's a bit of a pinch risk for the little ones. All-in-all a good solid stool. Note - we also bough the Melissa and Doug stool -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071KTYD7X/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_tQKsCb98RXAM8 That stool is too heavy, can't be lifted by a little one, and requires 2 hands to lift as an adult -- way too heavy + not easily moved. And we're talking stepstools - so moving them easily is important. This Greenco foldable stool is the right product. The Melissa and Doug one -- not really good for any use case.

Great kitchen stool!

I must start this review by saying that I mostly only use it in the kitchen because that is where I need it. But it is perfect because it folds up really simple with the handle in the middle, never had an issue with that. Also it is quite convenient that it can fit in between my fridge and counter. It is also quite sturdy, I'm 170 pounds and it doesn't really even feel like its putting pressure on the stool. I mostly use it in my kitchen to reach the back of the top shelves. It gives me that extra 11' that I need. I chose this one specifically over other stools because it folds up and is higher than most other stools out there. Just as a side not this would also be perfect for kids in the bathroom or kitchen that can quite reach the sink. Anyway, I would recommend this item big time. If anything changes I'll be sure to update the review!

Just what I needed

Perfect little kitchen stool. Feels sturdy and fits between the cabinet and fridge for easy access of high cabinets. Much cheaper than retail stores near me.

We bought one stool for our RV. But before it made it out to the trailer, our three year old took it. She discovered that it is easy for her to pick up and place where she needs it. It helps her reach the faucet to wash her own hands, reach the hangers in the coat closet to hang up her jackets and to even get her clothes out of her closet. We didn't really intend on buying it for her but we let her keep it and ended up buying another one. The way it collapses is fantastic especially for kids to move it around and to store it tight spaces. It really has been a handy stool. It is made of a heavy duty plastic but has no problems holding all 225 pounds of me (it says it can hold 300 lbs). For the price, you really cant go wrong. If you do buy it for a child, understand that this does fold and collapse down, therefore it does have pinch points for tiny fingers. Our three year old pinched herself once and learned her lesson quickly.

Great step for inside or out.

It really is strong enough to support a grown up. We use it to help our toddler reach the potty and I bought an extra to use out in the garden.. I sit on it instead of getting on hands & knees. I like that it's weather proof for being outside.

Love it!

Lightweight, easy to open up and easy to fold, yet super sturdy. I use this in my home office, My husband is self-employed and we use our office constantly. I bought this for two purposes: I needed a stepstool to reach the highest drawer in the filing cabinets, and I also wanted to try it to set my laptop on, on top of my desk, so I can stand and use the laptop. This is a great alternative to purchasing a standing computer desk (I just use a laptop, not a pc with separate monitor and keyboard). I know sitting all day isn't good for me, so I wanted to try standing but didn't want to spend more on a laptop riser for my desk. This works great, and when I'm not using it for a stepstool or a standing desk, it folds up quickly and neatly, tucked away at the side of my desk.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST WITH MANY USES

I was actually looking for a "milk stool" I could use for gardening. Due to a knee injury, I am unable to kneel, so I need a low stool to weed and plant the garden. I found wooden ones, not good for gardening, and way to costly. That was a no go. Then, thanks to Amazon's "suggestions" on the bottom of the page, I saw this. I figured for about $10 I could not go wrong. If it worked, great, if not, it would not be big financial loss. I bought the green one. It completely folds up, so it takes up very little space. I can comfortably sit on it (I am a size 14). It works great in the garden, and is the perfect height for me (I am 5' tall) when sitting. I want to get a second one for the kitchen, as us vertically challenged folk can never reach the second shelf of a kitchen cabinet. This stool is terrific. Lightweight, colorful, folds up for easy storage, is waterproof, cleans easily, and is comfortable to sit on. A real keeper. Maybe I will order another for the backyard. Another use for this: I keep it in the bedroom closet so I can reach the shelf above the clothes. Yep, I can see me ordering one for every room in the house!

I love this stool!

This stool is just what I wanted! My laundry room has some tall cupboards and I hated dragging a step ladder into that small room to get to the taller shelves. But with this stool I don't have to do that. I keep it folded up in between my washer and dryer. Now I just pull this stool out, open it up very easily and when I'm finished quickly fold it back up. I love that it's 11 inches tall, taller than most stools like this, and it is very sturdy, too. I am very happy with this purchase!!!
