Good texture for rimming margarita glasses.

All salts are not created equal

While some may say it is just salt, they are clearly not aficionados of margaritas. A fine margarita needs a great salt. These is pure white, easily applied to glass rims, and consistently a cloud pleaser. This is flaky salt versus the rounder and cheaper salts you find out there.

Stupidly paid way too much for this. But it's great Margarita salt!!

I was going to give this 3 stars because I paid $4.99 for it!! I could only find Jose Cuervo brand at our local stores. So I ordered it from Amazon. I should have looked around a little more before ordering. I was out of town and the only store close was a Walmart, They had it for $1.50!! But, I had already placed my order on Amazon. This is great salt for margaritas!! The flakes are not too big... like Jose Cuervo brand... and not too fine. I like to add about 2 teaspoons of sugar and mix it in well. That way the rim is not so salty. I've gotten lots of compliments. Give it a try sometime.
