Auto Defrost & Energy star Rated!!

I just plugged in the EdgeStar Mini Refrigerator today. (01/12/2019) I was looking for a refrigerator that was Energy Star rated and one that had auto defrost. Both of these qualities were very hard to find in a mini refrigerator. I bought this to replace a full size unit in our basement because we did not need all the extra refrigeration space. This unit looks really nice, so far I love it!

Great bedroom fridge

Had this about 3 months now, and it works great. Gets cold as I want it to, and the freezer is an actual freezer. A few tiny spots of frost in the freezer, after 2 months. But nothing that even comes close to having to scrape out. Very quiet. Sometimes I can hear the compressor fan shut off, but that was quiet enough to make me wonder what that noise was. Once I figured it out, I don't even notice it. Tiny ice cube tray is a cute addition. The built in can holder is a little wonky, but that's not at all why I bought it, so not a big deal to me.

Great little dorm fridge/freezer!

Nice looking, sturdy, little dorm fridge that was delivered on time without dents, missing pieces, or other issues. I've only have had it less than a month, but works like a charm so far; I will update after a few months. Likes: I got it mainly for the freezer and smaller food items. It compliments my other dorm fridge, which has more shelf room and a decently sized freezer compartment area (looks like a freezer but falls to do so!) Easy setup and clear instructions; (Other manufacturing companies, take note - you are falling short in that area.) Dislikes: None so far. Consensus: WYSIWYG. I like it for freezing stuff, despite the slightly higher price and slightly smaller size than comparable products. I won't take off a star because I knew it was smaller before I bought it. If it was slightly bigger, I would pay the comparable price. Caveat emptor: I reiterate previous reviews about compact fridge/freezer descriptions that use misleading terminology such as, "Chilling Section," vs. the word, "Freezer." A manufacturer may use technically restrictive language to describe their product but fall short in what might be called a Sin of Omission - they may not specify the fact that it will not reach a certain temperature; most people expect a freezer, not a cooling bin! My other compact fridge/freezer is really more of a chilling compartment and couldn't truly freeze anything after about a month. My mistake for not doing my homework. The EdgeStar CRF321SS 3.1 Cu. Ft. Dorm Sized Energy Star Compact Fridge/Freezer is a keeper!

EXCELLENT FRIG.

Looks great, works great, very quiet, keeps ice cream frozen and makes excellent ice. It does all of this and uses practically no electricity. I couldn't be happier with this frig.

Good frig with a tip

This is a great little frig.I am an full-time RVer. This is the best one I have found. It draws very little current and fits in my shed perfectly. I have small auto cycling AC unit. In the shed. This seems to make out the difference in the power draw from the appliances.. It makes the freezer and two frigs work much better.

Arrived in perfect condition; set up easy

Arrived in perfect condition; set up easy, except did need some help from our office "handyman" to switch side for doors to open). Set temp on medium, and it's been perfect; keeps food fresh, cold, and freezer food is as frozen as in my side-to-side home refrigerator! It's clean looking, quiet, just what I needed for my office. I couldn't be happier!

Really nice, quiet fridge

This is a really nice little fridge. I purchased it for a guest room, so it being quiet was important, and it is extremely quiet. Most of the time it doesn't make any sound at all, and when the motor does come on it's a whisper. The freezer made ice cubes in an hour or so.

Beyond my initial expectations

I read many, many reviews of compact refrigerators before buying this one, which also had some negative reviews. A couple indicated damage during shipping, but this frig was packed extremely well and was in perfect condition. Some reviews also suggested noise from these units, but mine is very quiet. So far, after a couple of months of operation this is a five star item.

Biggest freezer I have found in a small fridge, I can keep a pretty big ice container and still have room for a lot of frozen items. Also very quiet, don't even hear it running.
