Wonderful roasting rack by Norpro. As it is silicone I was concerned it might not be strong enough. One rack handles a chicken, meatloaf, Cornish hens, etc. Two racks would handle larger foods such as ham, turkey, roast beef, etc. It cleans up in a flash. It takes up less storage space than most racks. I recommend it.

I used the Nopro Red Silicone Roast Rack in a 400˚ oven for one hour roasting 3 small turkey drumsticks. worked great. I hand washed the rack when the food was done then put it in the top rack of the dish washer because it was a little greasy. It looks as good as the day I got it. I definitely recommend the product. There is a 2 pack on Amazon but I would suggest if you need 2 of them, buying them individually will save you money. .

Overall really happy w/this. Really quite sturdy-especially considering that they are constructed of silicone only. Wash well & I love the benefits & ease of using silicone products for cooking so I think these are a pretty great concept. I have seen the laurel wreath type design for a similar product & like this rectangular NorPro one better. (Plus I think this design is easier to clean) I had purchased only 1 of these originally & came back for a 3rd one when the price finally fell back down again. (I checked often & waited patiently & ended up getting the second one for $2 less than the 21st even. Both were south of $10) For anything larger than a rotisserie chicken, 1 really is not large enough... (& that's w/putting in some effort to get the chicken situated just right on top of the rack.) I've seen these advertised & talked about elsewhete online & the photos usually show 2 of these placed side by side in your average sized roasting pan. Now having received my 2nd one & having used 2 together I can fairly say that these roast BEAUTIFULLY & do EXACTLY what they are supposed to do. I'm really pleased w/my purchase!

I just received this and I have already used it twice. I cooked a chicken in my airfryer and a small roast in my oven. Both times everything came out great nothing was sitting in grease and it cleaned up wonderfully in the dishwasher I didn't even rinse it off first. I will recommend this to everyone. I will order another one for larger pieces of meat or poultry for my large roasting pan as I'm sure they can sit side-by-side.

Works great in my crockpot to smoke meat. It sits perfect on the 2 ramekins to keep the meat above the juices. You fill ramekins with 1/.2 inch of liquid smoke and put your favorite rub on the meat. 6 to 8 hours later dinner. I use it to roast country style ribs, wings, pork or beef roast for pulled meat. I also use a stainless steel version that is shaped differently.

Small footprint, so it fits into many pans. Purchased bc I thought it would be easier to clean than wire racks, WHICH IT DEFINITELY IS, but it's not as easy to clean as expected. Still has to soak and scrub the old fashioned way, but there are fewer surfaces to get dirty so that's a plus. May be just a little more challenging to rid it of grease- have not cleaned it the dishwasher, so this issue might resolve itself. I do like that it doesn't get too hot to remove immediately so I can get that soaking started ASAP. It also doesn't stick to the roast like most metal racks will. It raises your roast up a good inch, and seems like it is sturdy enough to hold up twenty pounds (or more?), though I haven't put it to that test. Thanksgiving is coming, so will revisit this rating if it fails. In the aggregate, a very good purchase.

Awesome! No more scrubbing and peeling off bits of the non-stick finish on the metal racks. Comes out of the dishwasher like new every time. Liked this so much I bought two. I plan on giving these as gifts.

I bought this for my Cuisinart 7 quart Slow-Cooker with the Sauté function. The cooker came with a metal insert which made no sense since the Cuisinart is a non-stick unit. Fits perfectly and I do not have to be concerned about scratching the unit. This Norpro roasting rack also fits like a glove for the 5 quart Contemporary Caphalon Dutch oven.

Works great! Used it for turkey breast roasted uncovered, and it was as good as it was when I cooked it on the grill. Have also used it when making bbq ribs, and they came out perfect. It's easy to clean and the perfect size for my small counter top oven which holds a 9 x 13 pan with no handles. It raises the food high enough to be out of pan juices, but still not so high that your food won't fit in a small oven.

OMG! What a great find! We had a 16 lb prime rib to cook for Christmas in our Traeger smoker/grill. Husband intended to cook it directly on the grill but I needed the drippings. The only pan big enough would be one of the disposable aluminum roasting pans, but setting the meat directly on the pan would prevent it from getting the smoke all around the meat. We needed a roasting rack big enough for this caveman-sized piece of meat. Didn't want metal racks of any type since they are such a pain to clean and would likely poke through the aluminum pan. Saw these and ordered two to give it a try. SOOO glad we did. Used one on Christmas eve with a 5lb pork loin just to test it -- worked really well. Then Christmas day we used two of them end-to-end in the aluminum pan and set the hunk-o-prime-rib on it. Perfect! They cleaned up easily. And while making breakfast this morning, discovered that they work pretty well as a trivet, too. Will probably use it for steaming large items and crockpot cooking, too. Surprisingly versatile item.
