Used for natural insect repellent, worked great for me.
Purchased this to combat cockroaches in a house i inherited. Researched non chemical options and peppermint was one. Put on cotton balls around the house, specifically where I noticed them and after 1 week, i haven't seen any in the house! It also helped with the cigarette smoke smell. Also had a problem with ants at my house. Used it in the same way and no more ants! Will definitely keep a bottle on hand.

One of my most important purchases.
Natural oils are great for many things. Healthy living includes taking care of your home. Peppermint Oil mixed with water (a few drops of oil per small bottle of water) is a great stray for little insect pests such as spiders. Spray around doors and windows to keep little critters out. My husband had a couple of very serious spider bites before we made this discovery. Now our home smells fresh with no insects. Amazon has the best prices, delivery, and selection so I am a faithful happy customer.

Nice oil
I purchased this to mix with water and use as a deterrent for mice in a very rural shed area. The product arrived quickly and was packaged nicely. We mixed a few drops with water and sprayed it around the base of the building. We re-apply every 5-7 days. The scent is nice and, so far, so good with critter control.

They hate it. it freshens old closets I use this ...
I use this for itching on my legs feet and pain in the knee a natural pain killer for arthritis as you woudl use an ointment cut this oil with coconut oil for using. you will know. I add it to bath for energy and use it in diffuser to cleanse the air. I also use this oil into borax and baking soda 1.2 cup of each to about 15 drops to the mixture to freshen carpets kills bugs/spiders as well. They hate it. it freshens old closets I use this mix for the whole house on window sills in summer winter . its true to scent and strength. I add it to baking soda equal amts of coconut oil to 15 or more drops of peppermint oil for home made tooth scrub . . great product a staple in the house

Keeps the ants away.
I made my own ant killing spray using a couple of drops of dishwashing liquid and just filling the rest of the spray bottle with water. I had no idea it would actually work but it works great. It didn't seem to keep their buddies from coming back every day though. Finally, I wondered if they weren't actually attracted to the soap's orange scent. After finding out ants don't like peppermint, I bought this. I put a couple of drops of this in with my ant killing spray and now I don't I don't get to use my ant killing spray. The bottle just sits there. I guess I could use it for cleaning, What am I going to do with the rest of this oil now?

Just the right amount of peppermint! Love itπ
I enjoyed the smell of the peppermint oil. It's not to strong of a smell. It's just right. Works great in my oil diffuser. Great price , and will last a long time. I definitely will buy again. I have been using this product daily for the past week. This is my favorite out of the other peppermint oils I have tried, mainly because it's not a very strong scent, just the right amount of peppermint scent. Also I get headaches really bad, and I put a couple drops of this into my oil diffuser and it helps my headache. Also comes with a little pipette to measure how many drops you need.

Works on mice.
I have a cabin in the woods which i only use occasionally. The mice want to take over when not occupied. I admit to being skeptical, but felt I had very little to lose. I combined this product with cayenne pepper in a spray bottle and sprayed the cabin wherever I had seen evidence of mouse activity. I sprayed cotton balls and put them near any holes where mice might enter. (Cotton is a great mouse nesting material and they would steal it if I put it our untreated.) The first one i put out near an entrance disappeared while I was wetting the second. The cayenne must have worked because I haven't lost another one in over a month of using this. I spray counters, table, stove top, bed (lightly), corners, appliances etc. Mouse evidence been reduced 99%. No scratching/running in the rafters. This last trip I used it on a cleaning cloth rather than a cleaning agent. I have to wipe down the counters, tables etc, anyway. WE'll see how that works. Bonus--it helps to negate the musty closed up smell when I first arrive and lend a nice smell to the cabin. Mice hate it. I love it.

Will definitely get rid of mice and creepy crawling things
A friend suggested to purchase peppermint oil to rid our daughter's home of creepy crawling things. Plus the city had to do sewer work a few feet from her home and the mice went wild!! There were issues of - centipedes, ants, spiders and creepy crawlers!!! We saturated the cupboards, thrush holds, corners, window stills placing drops on cotton balls placing the cotton balls in the cupboards and in the storage area at the bottom of the stove. She was beginning to hsve ants and as we spray they instantly died. It works! Plus it leaves your home smelling fresh with a lite hint of peppermint. As far as the mice - the holes were sealed the door frames were sprayed well and in addition with a hefty spray on cotton balls of peppermint.was placed in corners. Oh it is on!!! To early to tell if the fruit of our labor worked. Will keep you posted.

Great product
I needed mint oil to help keep weevils and such out of my clothing--in drawers & other containers [I put the oil on cotton balls that I stash in small containers, like washed pill bottles, to keep the clothing from being stained or anything]. I was spending a fortune on mint & peppermint oil from the spice aisle of the grocery store. This larger bottle is much more cost effective. I have allergies & scent sensitivities so I have to use a pure organic product. Petroleum-based chemicals cannot be used in my house. This does the job.

Good way to keep bugs away
I live in Florida where bugs are a part of our lives. And whenever it doesn't rain we have an infestation of all kinds of bugs especially roaches. No matter how much you clean the house there there as soon as it rains they're gone. This peppermint oil has helped me to keep the vermin at Bay. I spray a mixture of peppermint oil and water all over the one room where they are and they don't come back 4 two weeks at a time. It doesn't kill them but it keeps them out. As I am not a member of PETA I do wish it would have killed them but I'm OK but just keeping them out of my house. This is a very effective thing.
