This kit works well, not perfect, but well. The cutter does a good job, but the hex driver, i'm concerned its going to go THRU the plug before i get it pushed into the hole. So what to do? Oh...yes, easy fix, not only should you spray the hole with some soap/water mix but also get that plug wet too - which makes it an easy slide into the hole. Works great! But don't turn on the pressure again until things dry out otherwise it might push it right out if you don't wait a while.

Really good product for repairing the panels we have.

Worked perfect. Sealed up the hole and has been working for about 6 months, no leaks.

Easy to use. Screw paying a $65 service charge when my panels spring a leak every 2 months

Worked as it was supposed to, this kit is about $10 less than the branded kit by FAFCO. We watched the YouTube video demonstrating the use of the FAFCO kit a couple of times, cut and plugged as demonstrated and this kit worked perfectly. Thanks Amazon for next day delivery - we were able to do the repair in about 10 minutes, saved our pool party!

So easy to use. Watched the video and yes it was that easy. Saved summer.

Needed this to repair pool solar. Worked!

You're going to be tempted to hold the line while you cut with the bit. Be careful because it tends to slip off the line and into your finger. Just sayin'. Use a bit of back and forth motion to get the bit sliced into the line to start. You can always widen the hole with the bit if you need to. The soapy water really helps to slide the cork down inside the line.

This is a very nice compact kit that you can take on the roof and make repairs to the solar pool heating panels. Unscrew the end of the handle and put some plugs in there and off you go. Its definitely value for the price.
