We bought this for our Honda generator and have been using them nonstop since we got them so probably for close to 100 days? We have been without power since Hurricane Irma and bought these after we got data back after Hurricane Maria since there wasn’t a place that was selling extension cords 😭. And these have worked amazingly well in our home. They’ve been keeping us cool in this hot island weather.

I bought this for my corded electric lawn mower. Handles the power requirements nicely. Rated for outdoor use. The color is a little dark. So it's kind of hard to see when it's laying on the ground. So I have to pay attention to where I'm mowing at more so than usual LOL. I don't see colors that well to begin with. The chord seems is a little thin. But feels sturdy and well-built. Should last a long time long as long I don't run over it hehehe

I bought this to replace my extension cord that I hit with my edger while trimming my lawn. Overall, it's like many other AmazonBasics items I've bought. Inexpensive yet high quality. PROs: 1) Lightweight 2) Very flexible. It's not stiff and difficult to manage like some cords. 3) Handles all of the yard machines I use without heating up. I use this for corded electric lawnmower, edger, hedge clippers, and blower. 4) Seems to be very well made. 5) Does not seem to get twisted up like many other cords I've bought that cost more than double. CONs: None just yet

The extension cord arrived on time, in a sturdy box, and with a shipping slip inside. I have used the cord extensively around my house and yard. I have a very large yard and the length allows me a lot of range. This was especially important for the front where I have a lot of obstacles to go around. I used it first with an electric trim tool to manicure my shrubs. It is sturdy, lightweight, and flexible. The bright orange contrasts well with the lawn grass-less chance of it being accidentally run over with a mower or getting caught in a blade on a tool. Highly recommended this product. Pros: Sturdy, lightweight, flexible Cons: Flexibility comes with less sturdy rubber as the casing. I worry about the casing melting or ripping.

What can I say about a humble extension cord that hasn’t been said already. This Amazon Basics one is just as functional as any other cord. It arrived loosely wrapped but in good condition. No bent prongs and contained all the “This will hurt you if you play with it wrong” labels. Those are always helpful. It's UL listed so you probably won’t be electrocuted if you walked on it (disclaimer: your mileage may vary). This baby has all those sweet bells and whistles, but wait! There's more. My family is forgetful and accident prone. We have left this bad boy outside during a hurricane, parked our car on it, my kids have been behaving better since its arrival, it’s been caught in doors, drawers, windows, hooks, couches, rails, and nails and yet, it still performs as intended. Has powered everything from drills, electric weed eaters, miter saws, circular saws, and even my phone charger when I needed a little extra reach to my bed while searching for more house projects for my husband to complete or when my husband has been hiding from my projects with Reddit while in the bathroom for 2 hours. It’s your classic bright orange color which is easy to find in your junk corner, closet, or workshop. It doesn't fit in your junk drawer however. I was going to take a star for that but couldn't be bothered, just like I can't be bothered to clean the junk drawer. You can wrap it up neatly, and as all good quality cords will do, it will promptly tangle itself all over again. Probably the only item I’ve purchased for the fact that it is 50ft long, but that I'm willing to settle for 15ft, over the fact I can’t be bothered to untangle it when I’m in a hurry to finish a project. Excellent purchase. Fair price. Gives you power everywhere you need it most and doesn’t give you a hard time if you occasionally forget about it. I mean, there really isn't much to say about an extension cord. It’s a household, nostalgically bright orange, staple to keep on hand, in your truck, or next to your bed if your wife's into that kind of thing. Solid purchase. 10/10 would recommend.

I'll keep my review "Basic" and to the point. This extension cord works great and priced even better. I have had it in use for over and it's doing well, in both indoor and outdoor situations. I can't find a single complaint about it. When I read the negative reviews, I'm sure they're complaining about issues that are user-error. Extension cords aren't meant to be yanked around or have tension constantly on them; they'll break. If you use it as intended, you'll have a problem-free cord. Enough said. Great extension cord at a great price. You can't go wrong with AmazonBasics.

I had an outdoor extension cord for my mower, weed whacker, hedge trimmer, etc. I don't have a huge yard, but I needed a replacement cord that would reach everything and stand up to being stored outside for the summer. I, not unlike most of you, tend to remember that I needed a new cord when I was needing to use it. So in a flash I jumped online and bought this as a replacement. Delivery was quick (there was one cheaper option but fortunately I noticed the delivery time was 2-6 weeks!), price was perfect for me. My old cord had a tendency to get bent or kinked. This cord seems flexible enough to avoid that. My old extension cord also had a tendency to trip the GFI on the outdoor outlet (bad insulation), but I didn't experience that problem for the first time in a couple years. Made the whole mowing thing slightly less awful.

I've been without an outdoor extension cord for a while.....since I ate through previous one with the electric trimmers. I tried this one out today with the electric leaf blower. Did the job right. I was a little concerned that the fabrication is considered to be a cancer causing agent but since it will be stored in the garage and the children won't be playing with it I don't think it will be a problem. As of now I am pleased with the purchase.

Thr cable was purchased in order to use my leaf blower all over my property without having to plug 2-3 different extension cables together. The cable has performed well and the insulation and thickness of the cable inspire safety as it sometimes gets snagged 9n landscaping bricks, rubs as i pull it around corners...its a good durable cable and you can feel it as unpack it for the first time.

It's an extension cord, so it's either going to do it's job or not and I bought this based on the many high reviews and price point. For me, it is working very well. I have two chained together when a third smaller extension cord, maybe 220 feet in total, to power a 12-volt 1.25-amp motorcycle battery trickle charger which stays plugged in continuously for days at a time without issue. The extension cord chain is zip-tied along conduit in a parking garage that is partially open to the elements, but sheltered from rain and snow--and I haven't had any environmental issues. I had to cut off the male plug to feed one of the cords through a conduit, so I could plug it into an outlet inside my building. The copper wire inside the cord is braided, not solid, but was fine with a third-party male plug replacement. I only need it for the battery charger, which is working like a charm, so 5/5 stars here.
